@flowerpower5838 a lot of people knew we were trying or figure we probably will be soon so when they ask "when do you think you guys will have another" I just say "December". It totally catches them off guard, I actually love it

Lol! I did something like this yesterday. Was talking about time and a half on holidays with a coworker and she said, "so you're gonna work Christmas this year?" I said, "no, I'll have a baby by then."
So it looks like we are definitely selling our house and moving out of state, though my dh works from home so we're not exactly sure where we'll go yet. The realtor wants to list in like a week and I'm freaking out! So much to do and I have to take breaks every 20 minutes. This must be what torture feels like.
Where are you moving? We moved out of state when I was pregnant with DD. I was 6 months along when we moved, and we renovated the new house (it was supposed to be done by the time we moved in, which of course it was NOT), and I had to switch OBs--it was a little stressful. The earlier you can do it, the better! The nice thing about moving while pregnant is you get to sit and watch most of the action--no heavy lifting! We both had new jobs, so we got to hire movers with our moving allowances--glorious!

@NME44 Love it. I totally kind of just want to sneak it into conversations like that too and catch people off guard. we've only told a couple of my close friends so far and like I said earlier it was all crickets. I responded and said the appropriate response is congrats... We have yet to tell our parents, so I'll be real curious to hear what they say.
Lurker! @MJDsquared I'm like you but the opposite! I'm in the January Bump Club but since I am due January 3rd, I'm likely to deliver in December! I lurk here but don't post since TECHNICALLY I'm due in January. But, hi everyone! I'm following all of you and loving it, especially all of your awesomely adorable US pictures!
My ticker is wrong and I'm still too lazy to go fix it. Lol.
I'm stressing hardcore about DD's 1st birthday. I think i'm more sad than i am stressing, but I just want her to have fun and I want her to be my baby forever. haha.
I went shopping for a new dress - I have a wedding next weekend. Ugh, nothing fit right and it was kind of depressing. How is this happening already? Oh, I know. Twins.
@sdLindenberg Dont stress! She's 1 I'm sure she'll have a wonderful time eating cake and being snuggled. Enjoy it!

We're moving from Utah to Kansas/Mo I think. We're still looking at towns and it's stressing me out to make the right decision. We want to be closer to family in Iowa but don't necessarily want to live in Iowa... It's rough. May be staying with my mom for a while while we find a house. Good thing is that houses in Utah sell extremely quickly. We're expecting to be under contract within a week of listing. Fingers crossed anyway.
Insomnia is back. It's 5 am and I've been up for 45 mins. Debating using this energy to start cleaning the house I've been neglecting for the past few weeks lol I know I will regret it mid-afternoon

@Marley629 it's usually a week before your due date. I had a RCS scheduled with DD2 but my water broke at 37 weeks so she was born a little early. For this one, if baby stays cooking I'll be scheduled for Nov 29th but I'm going to ask for Dec 1st since it's a Friday. If possible I prefer a Friday so my DH has the whole weekend off from work... might be wishful thinking!
@kvacmak@breezybee sorry! I saw it and couldn't resist (for the record, I'm a dog lady, not really a cat person, haha, but I still wouldn't eat their fur )

Those who have had scheduled c-sections Before, about what week/month do they usually schedule your date? This LO will def be a RCS
My Ob already told me they'll schedule it for a week before my due date, but I am not sure when they will officially decide (i.e., whether they'll wait til the 20 week ultrasound to see if baby is ahead/behind, or just go with what it is now)

I forgot how much gas bubbles feel like baby movements. I keep feeling them thinking "baby??" Then realizing it's waaaayy too early. After DS was born I kept thinking gas was him too
I just watched that new documentary on HBO called Mommy Dead and Dearest. Wooooooowwwww. It's so freaking weird and so good. Watch it asap. You won't be sorry!
@ShyTonia It seems that DeeDees mom was the same way. Ugh. What a horrible woman. I'd bet money on the fact that the daughter is not nearly as innocent as she claims. I wouldnt be surprised if she got out of prison and did something similar like her mother.
@jlemons-2 my husband now expects me to nap when DS does. Yesterday I stayed up for a few minutes because we were talking and he stops and says, "aren't you going to nap? You usually do."
I woke up at 9:30 this morning, had some breakfast and read a book until like 1:30. Then I decided to take a long bath and read more. Then I ate some lunch and was so exhausted I needed a nap. For 2 hours. Wtf is going on?! I have literally done nothing today!
@breezybee I guess it was last Sunday, I totally woke up at like 8:30 or 9, made myself a simple breakfast, ate it, looked at my husband and said "I'm gonna go nap". He looked at me like I had 3 heads. Apparently bfast really wore me out...

Am I the only one who didn't know that Fixer Upper is on Hulu?? I really miss HGTV, we cancelled our cable a few months ago because we just couldn't afford it in the budget.
@jlemons-2 we cancelled or cable almost 7 years ago! Lol we use Netflix, Hulu and now firestick! If you can go with out live news and sports, there is no need for basic cable anymore! My FIL actually called the other day and said he figured out how to get live cable on the firestick! All we use Comcast is for internet. But I can see them raising the pricing on that in the near future because of so many people not needing the basic cable anymore. It is such a waste of monies. In my opinion. Hehe
Because we watch a lot of news and sports, we cut cable and instead went with the Playstation Vue. You still get live TV for Fox and NBC and then onDemand for ABC, but no CBS. It also let's so select "favorite" shows, which you can then watch like DVR. It's worked really well as an in-between for us.
