Re: Introductions!
I'm Katie, and I can't believe I'm in here!
My EDD is January 20th, based on the first day of my last period. We tested before going on vacation, 9DPO, BFN; enjoyed our time away, and got our BFP the day we came home, 13DPO! We spent so much time trying to adjust the contrast and saturation on our phones to see if we could see the line that we didn't notice that the line had become fully dark in the meantime
DH and I are both 32, we've been married since 10/22/16 and have been TTC since then. This is my first pregnancy, and I have a stepson who will be 5 next month (we're waiting until the end of the the 1st trimester to tell him, but he's been begging for a sibling to play with)!
My Dr. has me on 200mg progesterone supplements twice a day for the 1st trimester and I'm not loving that part (the back pain is unbelievable), but we are thrilled and ecstatic to be on this journey, even when it's uncomfortable or painful.
My first prenatal appt is June 6, when I'll be 7 weeks!
Congrats to everyone else in here!!!
DSS: 5- starting kindergarten this fall!

BFP #1 5/10/2017!!!
*Sadly, we lost our sweet babe on 6/19/17 at 9 weeks, 2 days. But we are made of hope, and we'll be back here soon.*

@LemmyRN - I'm also EDD Jan. 21 based on temping and Ovidrel trigger.
Me (32) & DH (34); NTNP since Jan 2016; TTC since June 2016: with an RE since Dec 2016. Third cycle was Letrozole, Gonal F & Ovidrel = BFP.
I'm a FTM but I have three furbabies, small, medium & large dogs. We've been married for +10 years. DH is originally from the US but we live in Canada (I'm Canadian). I'm also a bookworm but that stopped since TTC because all I do is look up TTC stuff on the Internet now. I'm 4w+1d and had beta tests on Saturday afternoon (71) & today it was 185!!!! I was so nervous because we told our parents on Mother's Day (we wanted to make it special). My BFF is also preggo and I'm 2w behind her but she doesn't know yet. I'll be telling her and my other BFF (who knows everything we've been going through) this weekend. I'm so excited but terrified of m/c. I have a dating u/s on Friday, June 2 and we might be able to hear the heart beat by then!!! Yikes!!!
I just want to say that I've had like NO symptoms. I've had some bloating & cramping but that is just normal progesterone stuff since I always feel that way before AF. I take meds for persistent nausea so I'm hoping this little bean doesn't cause more. I work in an office and the bathroom is right next to someone's office so I'm hoping I don't get those symptoms.
I'm 34, DH is 40 and we were NTNP since Jan 2017. We had our first daughter in July 2015, after 6 rounds of medicated cycles & one IUI which was successful. We are now due with #2 on Jan 8th, 2018.
I have had a lot of nausea which was the same with my first pregnancy. It happens mainly at night time versus in the morning. I am taking Diclegis at night only as it makes me every more exhausted during the day. Yesterday, I flew to London for work & was super concerned about nauseated the whole flight - amazingly I felt great and slept nearly the entire time. I'm flying back on Friday, fingers crossed that I'll feel just as well!
Good luck to everyone in their pregnancy journey, I'm excited to hear all about your journeys and share mine as well!
#2 - Due Jan 2018
I had my first implantation of the year on 2/11 but unfortunately , i lost that embryo. On 4/27 I had my now implantation. Today I measure about 5 1/2 wks and have a due date of 1/13.
What else about me
After leaving in November 2016, we're back. And 6 weeks into our 2nd attempt. Our first one ended in a blighted ovum and I hope I'm not jumping the gun as well. I told myself I wouldn't be back on this site. It's a wonderful community but it brought back so many bad memories for me. My DH doesn't want to me to stress and that is a HUGE issue with me. I ask for prayers that everything will turn out ok this time. I know we can't ever predict but I'd sure like to think we'll get this through this one happy and healthy.
I just found out on Mothers' Day morning and no one knows but a few including my DH. We just cried and cried. Fear, surprise, love, happiness, sadness. All of it threw me into a bawling fit.
I hope to share this thread with you ladies for a while
I got my BFP last Thursday after being quite a few days late. It was a surprise! My EDD is Jan 7th so far but I will know more at my first appointment on Monday! This will be mine and hubs 3rd and last babe. We already have two girls! 6 & nearly 3!
Happy to be here and get to know y'all
DS2: Jan. 2016
DS3: Dec. 2017
Baby #4 on the way!
So my husband told his parents and his mom decided to start telling the aunts & uncles. She told her early teen child and I did not want her to know yet!!! She even told some woman I used to be close to when we lived in the states. I haven't even told my bffs and she's telling people I don't want. Like I'm less than 5w!! What the hell was she thinking?!? I know she's excited bc it's the first grandchild but it is way too early to tell anyone other than immediate family!!! I'm so upset right now!

Happy to be in this group! Congrats to everyone!
I am still really active in my June '15 Facebook mommy group so I hope this group brings a new bunch of amazing women into my life, too!
*TW* sorry for your loss @slipaustin.
@LemmyRN - He told me he told her not to say anything but I think he was too excited and didn't actually tell her not to say anything but she's a medical professional, she should know not to say anything. We even told her I had to do more blood work to make sure it was doubling. Think lady!/ she will not be trusted with more info but DH is a momma's boy and I'm worried he'll spill the beans on gender as soon as he knows..urgh!

I got my BFP about a week and a half ago. My EDD is 01/12/18. This will be my third, I have 2 boys, 2.5 years and 13 months. Here's hoping this is their little sister! (Although I will still be SO HAPPY if this one is a boy too. How do I even mother a girl after 2 boys??)
I have a daughter who will be 11 months this week so I am also in the June 2016 group. I'm AMA so we didn't want to wait too long, but we have no idea how we'll handle 2! We feel so blessed and are praying for a healthy little one : )
I got my BFP on 4/30! I am 29 years old and I am a FTM. Just finished my second appointment with my OB and got to hear the heartbeat.....which was so exciting! My EDD is 1/2/18 which is also my 2nd wedding anniversary. Funny how things work out like that! I am totally excited but also very anxious.
How do you all keep calm during these times?
@maueraa07 - BFP twins!
@britmanering73 - T&P for a H&H9 for you this time! Happy Mother's Day!
@tryingfor1st - I get being excited but that's totally inappropriate of her to be telling a bunch of people this early without you & DH's okay! You have every right to be upset, that's definitely not her place to share! I hope your DH sets her straight. Either way that ship has sailed and I'd be super selective on that information I were to give her in the future!
@KG216 - Calm? What's that?

BFP #2 6/3/2020
*Trigger Warning*
Hi ladies!!
I'm Amanda - I got my BFP on 4/28 (our 4 year wedding anniversary!) After struggling with IF for the past 3 years we finally decided to seek help last year and began the fertility journey this year with IUI. On our second IUI cycle we were blessed to become pregnant with TWINS! I am very nervous but very much looking forward to this incredible journey!
My name is Samantha and I am 23. I got my BFP on May 9th and my EDD is 1/14/18. I have a DS born in Jan '16 who was a surprise. After not really trying for him I expected the next one to be super easy. DH and I were trying for almost a year so I was getting nervous about SI.
I didn't expect a positive this month so I actually didn't even look at the first test I took and was about to throw it out after only a min! Lo-and-behold there were two lines!
I followed all the forums on here and What to Expect with my first but was nervous and a bit of a stalker so never posted anything lol.
I am a bookwork (when I have time), love history, and work as a graphic designer.
My name is Danielle and I'm 31. I got my BFP last Sunday (May 7th) and am a FTM. That puts my EDD as January 16th. DH and I got married in October 2016 and have been TTC since then. We are absolutely over the moon with excitement right now! I have my second round of blood work tomorrow and can't wait to schedule the first ultrasound. Looking forward to going through the journey together-congrats everyone!
