@eggplantface pretty good so far. I can't do the shots, thankfully DH came through and is a champ. Blood draw today was awful...I bled so much after it...maybe because I kept a fist the whole time...
Thank you everyone for your well wishes! It means a lot to me It went as smooth as I could have hoped and everyone was so so nice! I am home now with a heating pad in bed and lots of shows lined up. I don't plan on moving!! Keeping all the things crossed for a good report tomorrow
@laurad75 We must have posted at the same time because I missed your update! I'm so sorry for the bust ER. I hope your egg is strong! A second opinion sounds like a good idea, so at least you get another perspective.
Me: late 30s | H: early 30s TTC #1 since April 2015 RE Dx: Fibroids, surgery Jan 2016 IUI #1 and #2, Nov/Dec 2016, BFN IVF March 2017: ER - 5R/3M/3F, 1 PGS normal Polyp removed May 2017 FET May 2017 - BFP! Baby boy born 2/2/18
@beachbunnyxo123 What. That story about the hpt brands blows my mind. Okay now I officially have no idea and strongly support the postcoital or antibodies assessment! I just can't believe the hpts thing.
@saralee797-2 Yay have a great relaxing afternoon girl! Fx for awesome numbers tomorrow.
@willrunforwine21 Your tsh is fine. What were your antibody numbers? I wouldn't start meds for a 2.4 tsh.
I realized I never answered about lifestyle changes. The biggest thing my endocrinologist said is to make sure you're using iodized salt (not sea salt or any of those fancy colors of salts). Your thyroid needs the iodine and unless you eat a lot of sea vegetables you could be deficient. Many people with Hashimoto's benefit from an anti inflammatory diet avoiding gluten, dairy, etc. (I don't have Hashimoto's but I know it's a common suggestion for any thyroid issue.) She also recommended avoiding strenuous exercise like marathon running (lol at the idea of adirat running a marathon) and doing more swimming, cycling, walking -- things that are easier on your joints. There's a book I got from the library called Your Healthy Pregnancy with Thyroid Disease that had some other lifestyle changes though to be honest I don't remember any so maybe they were dumb.
@laurad75 I've been thinking about you all weekend. I'm so sorry it didn't go as planned, but I have FX for your one rock star!! I totally get how hard the decision making process is, especially at our age when the decision is essentially final because time is so short. It makes your heart ache. You have all the love and hugs I can send you today.
@WillRunForWine21 Like @laurad75, I have low AMH, and I second her recommendation for It Starts With the Egg and the changes she's made. There is so much useful info in there. I've also added Vitamin E for egg quality, and Vitamin D is a good idea, too. I'm so sorry you got that news...
What are you doing: Last natural cycle before IUI with OH's frozen sperm
How are things going: Better. We had a meeting on Saturday with the midwife that will be doing our IUIs. I loved her! She had the science down, and she's very holistic about TTC. We didn't think we'd take up the entire 2 hour appointment because I've got the charting thing down (the vast majority of her clients are single moms or lesbians using donor sperm who have never TTC or charted, so we're a little different), but we talked about all kinds of stuff. She made a great suggestion that we could do a regular at home turkey baster approach along with the IUI to increase our chances (we're freezing a lot of sperm and should have enough samples to allow for that). She also sent us home with a plastic speculum so that OH can check my cervix and compare it to the pics in TCOYF (I was so happy she referenced that book and even asked me if I had it) to help us time the IUI properly since we won't be doing US or BW.I am totally geeking out on getting to use it! She also said that she incorporates vaginal steaming into treatment. At first I was thinking 'OK, Gwyneth Paltrow, whatEVER.' But she explained it using a steam room as a comparison, and how that opens up your pores, and it makes sense to open things up downstairs. I did a little Dr Googling and apparently it can also help with blood flow and to get rid of old blood that hangs out in the uterus...I get a lot of darker blood with AF, and people have had improvement with steaming. Part of me still feels like adding this to the "What are you (really) doing to get KU" thread, LOL.
**TW - other people's babies** In other news, my sister had my nephew this morning. He is 9 lbs 2 oz of gorgeous, and I will meet him early next month since we live about 400 miles apart. Part of me is feeling all jealous rage-y, but most of me is more zen about it than I would have been even last week. I think having a plan is helping with my attitude adjustment. **End TW** Any questions: Has anyone tried steaming their vag? I'm dying of curiosity. And I will totally share once I try it!!
GTKY: I hate doing floors. Mopping, vacuuming, I hate it all. I will sweep up when things get nasty, but I try to make OH do everything else until he's working again and we can re-hire the lady that cleans our house once a month.

@beachbunnyxo123 I am so with you on not wanting to do the first trigger alone. I was so scared at the first time, like what to do .. if DH wasn't there I'm sure I would have been lost in the instructions (it is really not that complicated, I was just too nervous) GL with the IUI and the timing!
@laurad75 I am so sorry you only have 1 egg. Really hope it is indeed a superstrar one FX for you so hard.
@adirat I don't have anything meaningful to say actually, just wanted to send you huge hugs
Diagnosis (If you've been): unexplained
Cycle/CD: ~21../cd22
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): tww
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Our second IUI was last wednesday.
How are things going? Work is still crazy. Last week I met with my accupuncturist, first thing he said that I have to relax/meditate at least 20 minutes per day. So, since my career isn't going anywhere anyhow, I decided to make much more effort from now on to prioritize better, and focus on what matter. My inner peace, conceiving, prepping mentally. Being here with you girls So far I feel good, I am anticipating my usual tww crazy to kick in around the second half of this week :P
Any questions? Usually how many hours/days do you girls ovulate after trigger shot? According to FF I O'd on Thursday - that should be around 36 hours after trigger.
GTKY: If you could get out of doing 1 chore/errand for the rest of your life, what would you never do again? Cleaning the toilet, definitely. I am a bit of a germophobe, so it is always a struggle for me :P
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
@WillRunForWine21 I'm sorry. What a blow. Did they do an antral follicle count yet? Here's my somewhat unsolicited advice. Depending on what your insurance status is and the number of kids you'd like to have, if I were you, I would look into skipping the IUIs and going straight to IVF and I'd probably do at least a couple retrievals to get some extra embryos on ice. Say IUI #3 is successful. You're looking at a baby in about a year. Say you end up having a c-section. From what I've seen, they recommend waiting until at least six months after to get pregnant again (to ensure that your uterus incision is healed up well enough), preferably more. So for #2, you're looking at at least a year and a half from now to start trying again. All I'm saying is that you might want to have a conversation with your RE about long term planning if your AMH is already low and you're hoping for more than one. Don't worry about the daily medication part. It's an adjustment (and I do feel like my dad, "Oh, nope. Can't eat yet! I just took my pill!") but...eh.
@LadyMillil You will feel better soon and you will get through this. You are so strong!
@eggplantface "she doesn't get the nuance that feminism = women get to make their own choices. She seems to think feminism = never dealing with men ever." Big eyeroll. Gold star to you for keeping your cool.
@beachbunnyxo123 There's a good chance if your follicles are good, they may just do the trigger right there in the office. That's what mine did. As far as having it in the work fridge/doing it there, you shouldn't get in trouble for doing it at work. It's a medical thing and anyone who has a problem with it can go stuff their arm in a sharps container. Do you have an office or are you in an open space? Either way, you'll get it all figured out and things will be good.
@antoto I'm with you on the dang dog hair. I love him soooooo much but if he could not shed, that would be great.
@MrsJ2410 FX for a bunch of great eggs! Can you take the trigger with you tonight and do it there? I get that it's not preferable but diabetics can do it, you can do it. I've even seen public bathrooms with sharps containers. I don't know what you're triggering with but I think the Ovidrel at least they want you to let it warm up to room temp so it doesn't have to be direct from fridge to body.
@laurad75 Oh, no. I'm so sorry. What a disappointment. Maybe all of the doctors in your practice can have a meeting to go over your charts and see if they can come up with the magic plan. You're a heck of a customer who has earned some special treatment. Maybe if they all put their heads together someone will have the key bit of knowledge?
@adirat I was thinking about you extra this weekend. Cheers to being on the other side of the weekend.
@Aurora1973 I look forward to hearing about the steaming! Congratulations on the nephew. It's tough territory and sometimes it stings (*TW* sister literally completely unknowingly started a group text of her baby, the one she had the day of my first MC while I was sitting on the toilet at Target last week, looking at a pregnancy test that didn't look promising.) but it's worth it to push through the pain.
Diagnosis (If you've been): unexplained
Cycle/CD: 15/4
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Waiting for results from RPL testing to come back and making a new plan based on that.
How are things going? *TW* I didn't update here last week but last cycle turned out to be a CP. This week is better than last. Not only does a CP blow all on its own, but since this is the second loss in a row (just days after I had been comforting myself with stats on how unlikely two MCs in a row is), I asked about RPL testing. And I'm glad my RE agreed. But, she also said that the responsible thing to do is to stop treatment until we get tests back...over the next 2-3 weeks. Plus, the whole thing threw off the schedule so now H's days off don't line up with FWs for May or June and...who knows what the plan is going to be anyways. The one test we have back so far that is of any significance was that my prolactin was a bit elevated at 37.9. So they had me in for a fasting retest this morning. I'm to a point where it would still be an adjustment but I wouldn't be too disappointed if my doctor suggested skipping the other two IUIs we had planned and going straight to IVF. For a lot of the same reasons I mentioned to @WillRunForWine21 If we were to do that, I'd want to do two retrievals and hope that we get some embryos saved up for later, too. @eggplantface shared this gif of footage of IF last week
It's missing this interspersed at random intervals:
At least we're going on vacation this week. So I may not be posting much more after today but I'll be reading and love-titting.
Any questions?
GTKY: If you could get out of doing 1 chore/errand for the rest of your life, what would you never do again? Dealing with the ever-loving clutter. I would clean bathrooms and do laundry and change linens and sweep and mop and vacuum all day long over dealing with the stupid clutter.
Edit: brain-fart based typo

@adirat I think it was you on these boards who always says to see a regular endocrinologist when thyroid comes in to play. Ibwas getting the sense the RE was being a bit dramatic about the TSH. That's why I went Friday to the endo. (DH is type 1 diabetic and we both love his endo). Because I wanted a little more insight. He basically said it was subclinical but 25mg of synthroid wouldn't hurt especially TTC. I'm picking up ionized salt tonight (I eat 0 things from the ocean sooooooo ionized salt it is) and do take vitamin D. Thank you for taking the time to answer me so thoroughly!
@kiki75 wow. That was the exact math I was doing last night with DH. The June IUI is all ready to go so I doubt I'll change that but my RE said 3 at most and I am thinking more like 2. I work a school schedule so if I could do august for stims/ egg retrieval then at least there is less work to miss. It is just hard because my IUIs are 100% covered. IVF is not. Though I know success rates go down after 3 so that only doing 2 doesn't make me feel so much like I'm missing my best shot. So many choices ughhhhh

@LoveInDC glad to see you back and that's great that the diet is working! I have so much respect for anyone that can keep to a strict diet like that. It's great that you're seeing results. @saralee797-2 I'm sorry you're feeling so uncomfortable but I'm glad your ER has been moved up! Good luck!! @WillRunForWine21 I'm so sorry that you got all of that news at once. I hope the IUI will work for you and that they can figure out a way to help your thyroid issue. @heatherdubrow I'm glad things are going smoothly so far and I'm excited for your FET! @LadyMillil I'm so sorry that you're having such bad side effects. Have you mentioned it to your doctor? Maybe there's something they can give you to counter the effects of the medication? @eggplantface Ugh that is so frustrating that your mom said that and just doesn't get it. People often don't understand the meaning of feminism. My brother once said he wasn't a feminist and what I asked him what he thought it meant it was something along the lines of putting women first and believing women are superior to men. I was like uhhhh no and when I actually explained it to him he was like oh well then I'm absolutely a feminist! @beachbunnyxo123 I hope the timing works out for you and you don't have to do anything awkward at work! It's so hard to time these things!! @antoto yay for almost being done with BCP!! Hopefully the stims don't affect you too badly. @MrsJ2410 I'm sorry you won't be able to see your H's ceremony. @vflux33 that's so sweet of your H to go overboard on gifts! This year is my 30th and I'm trying to convince DH to take me to Disneyworld for the day. @laurad75 that sucks that there was only one egg. Hopefully it ends up being perfect and you're still able to move forward. If not, it's good that you're getting a second opinion and you're open to other options. Fx this egg is the one! @safire3 I'm sorry you had a rough weekend but I hope you have an amazing trip! @KristoKekerooni good to see you posting again! I'm glad your H's surgery went well! Hopefully the NTNP will be a nice break from the stress of TTC. We did that this month and it put me in such a better place mentally. @adirat I'm so sorry you had a rough weekend. So many hugs to you. @Aurora1973 glad you had a good meeting with the midwife! I've never heard of vaginal steaming before! Congrats on your nephew! @Anna_1021 hope the IUI is successful this month! Fx for you. @kiki75 I'm so so sorry for your loss.
AFM:
We had our first RE appointment FINALLY! She looked at all of our test results and said everything looks normal. DH's SA is all good, my AMH is great, all the hormones are normal, HCG is clear. She looked at my charts and agreed that everything looks fine. The only thing is that I've been having pain on my right side *TW* ever since I gave birth to DD *end TW* and she said it is a possibility that I have endometriosis but never knew it because I had been on birth control for seven years before TTC. Since I don't have any other endometriosis symptoms she doesn't think it's likely, but it is a possibility. So she gave us 3 options: have laproscopic surgery to see if there is any endometriosis, start medicated IUIs next cycle, or go straight to IVF. She recommended the IUI because she thinks the surgery is a bit drastic since I don't have any other symptoms and she thinks IVF is a little aggressive since we have all normal test results and would only recommend it right now if we were really opposed to the risk of twins. So we decided to start medicated IUIs next cycle. AF is due Wednesday or Thursday so I have to call them when that starts and then I'll go in for an estradiol level around CD 3, then start Clomid and get monitored with ultrasound and estradiol levels, do an Ovidrel trigger shot, and then IUI. She wants to do three cycles of this and if it doesn't work then we will discuss either doing the surgery or moving on to IVF. IVF had previously not been an option to us because of finances but she told me that our insurance (she has the same insurance since we work for the same hospital system) has excellent infertility coverage and people will actually come work for the hospital system just to get the infertility coverage. So apparently I may be almost fully covered for at least a cycle or two of IVF if we end up needing to go that route. I'm very grateful for that at least, but still kind of bummed that there's a possibility of endometriosis and that technically we're still "unexplained". But I'm very happy to finally have a plan in place! Sorry for the novel, but I'm so grateful to you ladies for all of your support. I went in to that appointment already knowing so much because of all of you and I feel like that really helped me to make an informed decision.

@shortstack930 I'm glad your appointment went well! Of course unexplained is no fun, but having a treatment plan in place is a great step forward.
@WillRunForWine21 Yep, that's me always saying to see a regular endocrinologist! lol I'm happy to be known for that.
@kiki75 I really connected with what you wrote about ivf. This is going to sound bizarre but I think what you are saying about having embryos ready for all the pregnancies you want to have is something my husband has been trying to say to me but much less articulately and I didn't get it until you wrote that out. So thank you.
@kiki75 that is how I felt about ivf, let's just do it already and hopefully have embryos to use later. We got lucky in that we ended up freezing a total of 14.
@kiki75 Huge, huge, huge hugs. I am so sad to read that. If I knew you IRL I would be driving to your house with wine and chocolate and a shoulder for you to cry on.
@antoto the meds impact everyone differently. I did have some headaches in the beginning that Tylenol couldn't touch but it wasn't so bad that I couldn't work. Then, once my ovaries started to get big I was pretty uncomfortable but not in pain per se. I also did not tolerate alcohol very well so listen to your body on that one. All in all it wasn't that bad and I would do it again if I had to. So, don't be scared!
@beachbunnyxo123 I bought this pouch that looks kinda like a make up bag on Amazon that has built in insulation and an ice pack. It keeps meds cold for about 6 hrs I believe. That was super helpful to me because we had a couple events to attend and I just gave myself injections in the bathroom. The thought of it was intimidating but it's not so bad. You can do it if you have to!!
@WillRunForWine21 my tsh was elevated for the fertility world - I was told. I don't have any other symptoms. I have been on levothyroxine for months. I just leave a pill on my nightstand and take it when I first wake up. It just becomes part of the routine. I know it's overwhelming but hang in there love!
@adirat sorry you had a tough weekend. I've been thinking about you and I'm wishing you the very best.
@laurad75 I am sorry it didn't go as planned. I'm hoping it's a little fighter though. A second opinion certainly can't hurt so I'm glad you made moves on that.
@safire3 Oooooo Ibiza that sounds amazing! Have an awesome time.
@MrsJ2410 yayyy so excited for you!! Hope all goes well!
@shortstack930 glad your RE appointment went well and you have a plan!!
@vflux33 happy early birthday!! Hope it turns out to be more sweet than you are expecting.
@eggplantface I think that is really a selfless and lovely thing to do for your H. I also have some cramps which I agree is weird and the kind of lower back pain I get with my period but the heating pad has been my bfff.
@LadyMillil I hope some of those side effects subside soon!
@loveinDC That's great your diet is doing good things for you so far. FX it's working wonders on your hormones too.
@saralee797-2 A night of relaxing sounds perfect for you today. I have my fingers crossed so hard for a good report tomorrow.
@LadyMillil Sorry the side effects from the stims are so bad.
@eggplantface Sorry you had to list to silly mom comments today. Ugh.
@antoto Yay for almost being done with BCP! Hopefully any side effects you get from stimming are less than those you got from BCP.
@MrsJ2410 Best of luck with your retrieval on Wednesday! Sorry you are missing out on H's swearing in. Hopefully someone else was able to go with him to celebrate. And if not, hopefully you two can have a good night celebrating at home.
@shortstack930 Wow! So much good information from your RE appointment, and that's great you have a go forward plan for treatment! I'm sorry the DX is still unexplained, my fingers are crossed that the Clomid + IUI will do the trick for you.
@laurad75 So sorry your retrieval didn't go so well. Many, many hugs for you. I really hope the egg you have is a superstar.
@kristokekerooni Good seeing you around here! :-) Glad the surgery went well. I hope the next few months are full of distractions for you.
@beachbunnyxo123 I hope the timing all works out for you. It's really hard to plan this stuff around everything else. My mind is blown that you get positives with First Response. That is so wacky. If you ever figure out why, please report back because I am intrigued! Of course, over the weekend I bought a triple pack of First Response instead of my usual wondfos since I won't be going in for a blood test this cycle. I was thinking the First Response would be better, but now I'm thinking maybe not.
@Aurora1973 No vag steaming here. This is the first time I've heard of it! I'm glad you are feeling zen about the new bundle.
@Anna_1021 I need to take a page out of your book and re-prioritize. Maybe I'll start doing the healthy habits check-in and meditate at least 10 minutes a day. 20 sounds like a lot right now... Let me know if you do start meditating more and if it makes you feel better. Sorry work is still crazy for you.
@kiki75 Ugh, so sorry for the CP. That's terrible. Hugs, lady. Those 2 GIFs together are perfect for IF.
Diagnosis: NIR PCOS
Cycle/CD: 7 (month 16)/26
Status: TWW
What are you doing: letrozole + Gonal-F + TI + progesterone + acupuncture
How are things going: Meh. I'm feeling pretty Zen about testing later this week, so that's good. I did have a terrible crying breakdown last night though, about stress and being plain tired with working so much. I'm starting to wonder if the progesterone is making me anxious, depressed, and overemotional because last time I took progesterone I also was much more upset and emotional than normal, but it doesn't seem like a common side effect so this all might just be situational feelings. Any questions:
GTKY: I second the window washing being a sucky chore. I always leave streaks. Our windows need to be washed now, but I've been avoiding it.
@adirat Sorry the weekend was so rough. I feel you on the whole "at least with IVF we potentially could get security for the future" thing. MH is unjustifiably convinced IUI will *definitely* work and I keep saying that about the IVF to him to prepare him (so kind of the opposite of you and YH).
@saralee797-2 Hope to hear the best news possible from you tomorrow! And thank you for the early birthday wishes.
@Aurora1973 Let me know if you see any improvement with the vaginal steaming. I've never tried it but I have heard of it: one of those things where I was like, am I crunchy enough for this? Congrats on the nephew (or should I be really saying, congrats your sister isn't currently KU anymore...?)
@kiki75 *TW I am so, so sorry to hear about your CP. I saw your siggy changed but you hadn't brought it up here yet--I totally almost stalked/PM'd you but didn't want to push you to talk about it if you weren't feeling that yet. I hope your vacation is seriously great and that you sink into it completely and come back refreshed.
@shortstack930 So glad to hear about your appointment and IVF coverage! That's so rare and great and honestly I get a little giddy when I hear about any of you ladies getting even a tiny bit of coverage for IVF. Sounds like we're on a similar treatment track. GL!!
Hi! I hope it's okay that I post in here. I've just started the process of figuring out what is going on. No dx yet, no treatments. More info below...
Diagnosis (If you've been): Nothing yet. May be coming soon?
Cycle/CD: Cycle 20. CD 7.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): The usual baby making stuff this cycle. May have more to report next cycle?
How are things going? I'm actually pretty excited. So, after trying on our own for a year and a half, DH and I finally decided to take the plunge and ask for a referral to a fertility specialist. To start, our clinic asked DH to do a SA (all normal) and me to do blood work (all normal) and an HSG (scheduled for Wednesday). Once all that is done, we will make an appointment with the doctor and come up with a plan. For us, mostly for financial reasons, we decided that if everything comes back looking normal, we are going to try on our own for about 6 more months. We will really step up the game on our health and that may make a difference? We are both still young so I'm not worried about age yet. My biggest fear is letting my mental health slip back into a dangerous place like it was about 3-4 months ago. Is it okay if I hang out with you ladies?
Any questions? Not at the moment. You are all a wealth of knowledge and I love it!
GTKY: If you could get out of doing 1 chore/errand for the rest of your life, what would you never do again? Umm... Cleaning my house? If it has to be one thing, I would say dishes. We don't have a dishwasher and that is just THE WORST!

@laurad75 so sorry the ER didn't go well. Really hoping you have a fighter there but glad you have a second opinion set up.
@KristoKekerooni glad to see you and glad YH's surgery went well.
@kiki75 so sorry to hear about the CP. So many hugs to you friend. Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
@shortstack930 Yay to having a plan and good insurance coverage!
@Maggie1202 Sorry you find yourself here but you are welcome anytime. It's great that everything has come back normal for you guys so far. Good luck with the HSG on Wednesday! *ETA Happy Anniversary!
@Maggie1202 Sorry that you find yourself here, but welcome to join us any time These ladies ARE amazing in more way than one. Good luck with your tests, if you feel unpatient it might be a goid idea to schedule an appointment with a specialist now, while you are waiting on the tests. We had to schedule the appointment like 3 weeks ahead.
@madspunk I started meditating and already feel better. Not sure hiwever if it is due to tha fact that i am szarting to let this work-crazy go or the meditation itself. From past experience: relaxation and meditation helps me great deal in eliminating stress. I tend to get too tense sometimes.. I have the same worries about progesterone. Last cycle i wrote off being emotional to work (not kidding, i was coming close to a nervous breaksown at work) so we'll see this cycle. When do you start p? I am starting today, everyone should run scared
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
I had 4-5 follies on the right and 2-3 on the left, which is exactly what my RE expected based on my AMH. My estrogen isn't high yet so I'm doing 2 more days of stims and then have another monitoring appointment. I wouldn't worry too much about sides effect from stims @antoto I was started on a higher dose because of my AMH and i had terrible side effects from even 50mg clomid so it seems like my body does not like fertility meds
@kiki75 please let me apologize for being so concerned with put back and forth and not taking time out to say I am so sorry for your loss and that you find yourself back here.
Me: 32, DH: 31 Together: 11/2008, married: 3/2014 DH: Type 1 Diabetes, (dx 4/15) Celiac Disease (dx 11/14), Treatment induced Neuropathy of Diabetes (dx 7/15) DH SA: 11/16: low count and low motility DH SA: 12/16: borderline low, count and motility 1/20/17: BFP, 1/24/17: CP 5/17:low AMH (0.89) 6/17: first IUI cycle, 50 mg clomid + ovidrel + IUI: 2 follies, BFN (count 58 million, 97% motility) 7/17: second IUI, 2.5 letrozole, OPK, IUI: 1 follie, BFN (count 9.5 million swimming- dont know percentage) 8/17: third IUI, 5.0 letrozole,
@LadyMillil sorry you have to endure two more nights of this but at least you are responding well!! @Maggie1202 I am sorry that you found yourself here but these ladies are a wealth of knowledge and support when you need it. Welcome! @madspunk hope your zen feeling continues throughout the TWW. My fingers are crossed for you girl!
@antoto Don't stress about the meds. This is day 5 for me and I feel better than I did on clomid. A small headache and some bloating which could both be related to other things.
Thanks for the reassurance @LadyMillil and @leekat14 ! I think the only thing I reacted to during my IUIs was the trigger shot - but no big surprises there, and nothing totally unbearable. Just the typical hot flashes, slight nausea.
What are you doing this cycle? Was on 1st medicated cycle with clomid-100mh days 3-7 was suppose to have first IUI this month.
How are things going?my first IUI was cancelled because, on CD 10 follicle scan I had left 13.4 and 12.9 follicles and right was 18, 12.8 and 13.9. They said the mature folllicle was on my blocked side so they cancelled my IUI. Told us to try naturally so DH BD as soon as got a positive on OPK and 2 days after. Have a progesterone test tomorrow.
Any questions? Doc wants to meet with me on the 24th to discuss the next steps, does that mean the clomid didn't work like they wanted?
@leekat14 I feel better than yesterday but I am definitely still sore/tender. I was glad I took today off work to rest up. Still waiting for the call from the doctor's office with the report ugh!
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW. Since I tracked nothing this cycle due to my travels, I dont know how many DPO. I *think* 8 based on secondary signs, but I could easily be off by a day or so
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Nothing this cycle. Hoping I am the snowiest of snowflakes and get KTFU on my own this cycle. Next cycle we start IUI
How are things going? Well I spent the whole vacation avoiding thinking about TTC and all that, so mentally I feel refreshed
Any questions?
GTKY: If you could get out of doing 1 chore/errand for the rest of your life, what would you never do again?
@Anna_1021 I've been on progesterone for about 10 days and AF is due (I think) Friday. I really don't know if it's the progesterone affecting me, but I'm interested to see if my mood improves when I go off it again. I'm going to try to start meditating this week. I'm glad it's already making you feel better! Sorry to hear you almost had a nervous breakdown at work. That's no good at all. Are you looking for new jobs or staying put for awhile?
@Maggie1202 Good luck with the HSG! Welcome to the IF board. It's a sucky place to be but it's full of the best ladies around.
@moni2016 You're new here, right? Sorry you find yourself here. I'm not sure what the RE might be thinking in your case. Without a blocked tube, it seems like the Clomid worked but I don't know how they handle treatment with blocked tubes. Sometimes REs want more than one mature follie as well depending on your DX. GL at your appointment and getting some answers.
@kiwi2628 Welcome back! I'm glad you are feeling refreshed.
@madspunk yes I am new I was on another board but felt a little left out so just trying to fit in somewhere. Have you been on clomid before? I had extreme bloating it's so uncomfortable.
@saralee797-2 I was looking for your egg update as well. Can't beleive they are making you wait for so long... Glad you took the day off and feeling a bit better. Fx
@moni2016 Sorry for the cancelled IUI, it must be hard to take emotionally once you got your hopes up. FX for next cycle
@kiwi2628 Welcome back! Glad you had a nice vacation
@madspunk I've been bad and ditching meditation ever since.. Maybe we should make a pact to stay with it together! I am not looking for new job yet, due to ttc. But if nothing happens on this front, I might start looking. Meanwhile i just try to let go of the stress
Me: 33, DH: 38 Married: May 2015 TTC since September 2015
Its Tuesday night, and I have a lot of catching up to do on this thread. Will love tit and catch up to join in the conversation!
Diagnosis (If you've been): endometritis
Cycle/CD: 19/30
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Guess we are officially on TTA for next 14 days
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?) Antibiotics for the endometritis for 14 days and then #1 IUI
How are things going? So much. Since our last RE appointment I feel like I have been on the phone or email everyday with her. Adjusting meds and moving onto the next item on the checklist. Got the BFN for current cycle so moved on to antibiotics yesterday. 14 days of treatment and then onto IUI. Now that it is here feels more real, trying not to get hopes up any more than any other cycle.
Any questions? Not yet, I am sure I will as we go through the process.
GTKY: If you could get out of doing 1 chore/errand for the rest of your life, what would you never do again? Like most of you, probably cleaning the bathroom. I don't mind the actually cleaning sometimes, but the chemical smell I hate.
@WillRunForWine21 I had a very similar experience with so many new diagnosis this past week, hope you are able to take it one day at a time and figure it all out! My RE did start me on Synthroid (my tsh was 2.6), and I am not liking it at all. Did you decide to do medication? I am thinking of talking to my RE to find out if there is something I can do to manage better with diet or something, although she did express the same concerns as adirat mentioned for birth defects and miscarriages so it wasn't something that she wanted to take a risk on. (Now that I got to the end of all the posts I realize you probably already have your answers but this was my $0.02)
@kiwi2628 I hope your are the most special of SS! FX!
@maggie1202 Welcome the thread, sorry you find yourself here, but these ladies have definitely been a wealth of knowledge and encouragement to me!
@madspunk I was on progesterone this cycle, and definitely felt a lot more emotional on it. Though my other cycles I didn't feel it as strong, so maybe it is just everything going on with work and life stress too. I hope you get some rest and take care of yourself. IF while keeping up with life is hard.
@kiki75 So sorry to hear of the CP. I hope vacation gives you time and space to feel all the feels. It is never an easy process. I hope you also get answers soon for a new plan so you have something to start to look forward to.
Phew, was finally able to read everything (I started to respond last night and then fell asleep since my body thought it was 2 AM)
@WillRunForWine21 hugs for finding out so much in such a span. It can be totally overwhelming, I know. So many hugs
@LadyMillil I a sorry about all the side effects you are going through. Hopefully they ease off soon
@beachbunnyxo123 oh wow, I hope you can trigger later! That is the one good thing about my job- I am having our nurses trigger me when I need. They have no problem a) giving injections b) seeing my butt and c) stabbing their boss, so it works for everyone, lol
Re: IF/Testing Weekly Check-in 5/15
@laurad75 I'm so sorry today didn't go well. Sending you lots of creepy internet hugs.
@adirat I'm so sorry this weekend felt so hard, love. I feel for you so much!

@LadyMillil I'm sorry you feel so crappy!

She also sent us home with a plastic speculum so that OH can check my cervix and compare it to the pics in TCOYF (I was so happy she referenced that book and even asked me if I had it) to help us time the IUI properly since we won't be doing US or BW. I am totally geeking out on getting to use it!
**End TW**
Any questions: Has anyone tried steaming their vag? I'm dying of curiosity. And I will totally share once I try it!!
GTKY: I hate doing floors. Mopping, vacuuming, I hate it all. I will sweep up when things get nasty, but I try to make OH do everything else until he's working again and we can re-hire the lady that cleans our house once a month.

@beachbunnyxo123 I am so with you on not wanting to do the first trigger alone. I was so scared at the first time, like what to do .. if DH wasn't there I'm sure I would have been lost in the instructions
@laurad75 I am so sorry you only have 1 egg. Really hope it is indeed a superstrar one
@adirat I don't have anything meaningful to say actually, just wanted to send you huge hugs

So far I feel good, I am anticipating my usual tww crazy to kick in around the second half of this week :P

@saralee797-2 Yay! FX it goes great!
@shortstack930 I hope you had a great appointment!
@safire3 Happy vacation next week!!!

@KristoKekerooni glad the surgery went well!!
@heatherdubrow thanks for the advice!
@Aurora1973 omg that sounds weird but also why not? I wonder if it will feel good?!
@kiki75 *TW I am so sorry about another CP that is terrible but I hope that the tests help illuminate a path forward* come back and update us.
@safire3 Have an amazing trip!
Hi @KristoKekerooni! Glad to hear you've healed OK!
@adirat Sorry the weekend was so rough.
@beachbunnyxo123 Your HPT issue is really interesting! Weird!
GL!!
Diagnosis (If you've been): Nothing yet. May be coming soon?
Cycle/CD: Cycle 20. CD 7.
Me: 32 years old
DS1 Due 6.7.2021
@KristoKekerooni glad to see you and glad YH's surgery went well.
@kiki75 so sorry to hear about the CP. So many hugs to you friend. Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing vacation.
@shortstack930 Yay to having a plan and good insurance coverage!
@Maggie1202 Sorry you find yourself here but you are welcome anytime. It's great that everything has come back normal for you guys so far. Good luck with the HSG on Wednesday!
*ETA Happy Anniversary!

Cycle/CD: 12/ 19
Any questions? Doc wants to meet with me on the 24th to discuss the next steps, does that mean the clomid didn't work like they wanted?
Cycle/CD: 10/18? Ish?
Any questions?
GTKY: If you could get out of doing 1 chore/errand for the rest of your life, what would you never do again?
Laundry
ETA: 8 DPO. Not 18.
Married: May 2015
TTC since September 2015
Cycle/CD: 19/30
@antoto YAY for starting stims soon!!!
@laurad75 I am so sorry your ER was a bust this cycle. Hugs hugs hugs
@safire3 omg have fun in ibiza next week! That sounds amazing!!
@saralee797-2 so glad your Er went well! So many crossed fingers and toes and everything else!
@kiki75 I am so sorry about your CP, especially around this time of year, ugh, it is beyond cruel. I am so sorry for any hurt you have. So many hugs.
