I'm 33 and DH is 42. We had 2 miscarriages in the last 2 years and after 2nd IUI we got our BFP. Heard heartbeat @ 6w +3 so feeling positive! 8w +1 today. I'm a stepmom of 2 and we're waiting till week 12 to tell everyone. Due 12/17

There is no history in my family and I haven't had any fertility treatments, so it was a complete surprise. My due date is December 23, though my OB said they will most likely come sooner than that. I was part of the May 2015 Birth Club while I was pregnant with her as well, but I was more of a lurker than poster. I hope to interact more this time around but... we'll see! This pregnancy has been so different than my first, I feel exhausted and nauseous allll day, and the past couple of days (I'm 8.4 currently) have been the worst. Totally not winning any "Mom of the Year" awards right now (thank God for Kids YouTube) but I hope to make it up to everyone once I feel more human in a couple weeks (Fx). Looking forward to getting to know you all over the next several months!

Hey eveybody! I just had my first doctor appointment today! This will be our second child, and our son turned two in March. My EDD is December 27th, but the ultrasound said Christmas! I've been horribly sick this time around so I haven't been quite as excited as my husband lol. He's thrilled Our son doesn't understand yet, but I think he'll be a great big brother. Hello everyone, I'm slowly and cautiously adding pregnancy apps again. We suffered a loss at the end of 2016 and are currently expecting December 12th, 2017! I have a 3 year old son that will be 4 soon. I have already been to the doctor, on May 1st, all was well. I will not be back for another appointment until June 5th. We plan on telling our friends and family that following weekend. I haven't participated in pregnancy boards in the past but figured it would be good for me this time around to stay positive

@amiec-2 Since our twins will be born sometime in December (due date's Dec 23, but twins usually come earlier), there will definitely be years that their birthdays will fall on Hanukkah, since the dates change from year to year. So, we've been thinking that we might celebrate their half birthdays to give them a chance to have their own special time without all the holiday craze.
