Trying to Get Pregnant

IF/Testing Weekly Check-in 5/15

This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another.  Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say, and treat this like an ongoing conversation.

Diagnosis (If you've been):

Cycle/CD:

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?)

How are things going?

Any questions?

GTKY: If you could get out of doing 1 chore/errand for the rest of your life, what would you never do again?

  • @MrsJ2410  Good luck with your ER!!  10+ eggs sounds awesome!
  • Hey. On mobile, will be back for my post later. But (given what happened in the past 2 weeks, missing so much due to work that i was never able to catch up) i decided to jump on this thread early this week :)

@saralee797-2 Yay for ER today. FX that you have plenty enough and the procedure goes smoothly.

@eggplantface Oh that is not a nice comment from your mom. Can't you talk to her about these remarks. My mom means well but she can be insensitive sometimes. What works for me is telling her straight up ehy is it not okay thing to say..

@LoveInDC Congrats on the diet! :) I've just realized last week how much weight i gained over the past month being emotionally overwhelmed. Also heard good things about paleo. It can help getting your balanced body back by facilitating clean eating. Hope it works :)

@WillRunForWine21  Sorry for the bad news.. hopefully they can fix your tsh fast.

Gotta go, will be back later with more and my post :)

@shortstack930 GL with your RE appointment! Report back to us!
  • @MrsJ2410 10 is a lot! Remember it's quality over quantity. Good luck with the retrieval!

@antoto Does your update mean you had the mammogram?

@leekat14 How are the meds treating you?

@Anna_1021 My problem is I never think about what I really want to say until either we've moved on from the topic or I've thought about it later and realized what I should have said. But now that I know it's on her mind I'm sure she'll bring it up again and I can address it.

  • @laurad75 Oh girl I'm so sorry for the rough ER.  That has to be extremely disappointing.  Let us know what the RE says.  Sending you lots of love right now.

@kristokekerooni Yay surgery!  I'll be crossing my fingers for you guys over the next few months!

  • @adirat thank you so much for the information and "it starts with the egg" is officially ordered from Amazon. My TSH was a 2.4. The RE seemed more concerned about the antibodies where the endo brushed that off a bit because though T3 and T4 were low side of normal, they were in fact normal. I think I just needed the weekend to wrap my head around stuff and a daily medication was hard for me to imagine given I've never had a set of thyroid symptoms but the more I read the more necessary it is to really have control of all this before the next steps. Thank you for sharing and I am sorry you're weeke do was not great. Hugs...
