Bloat, Sore Boobs, and Nausea.... and I'm a total b*tch! I had a conference call at work today, and had to put myself on mute so I could yell cuss words into the phone. I hope that doesn't last the entire 9 months or I won't have a job lol!
@Eags I am so glad to hear I'm not alone with the heart flutters! So annoying especially when laying down to go to bed. I feel like one big walking hormone.
It's funny the difference a few days can make, yesterday my boobs didn't hurt at all but today they are killing me! Cramping is mostly gone. No irritability for me (which is unusual) but I'm starting to cry at EVERYTHING.
Starting to feel nauseous when I wake up now. Full fledged all day nausea is coming! This is way sooner than last time. I think it kicked in at 8 weeks with DS and lasted until 20 weeks.
I hate nausea so much. Anyone have any remedies you are typically fond of?
Other than some mild bloating, I don't have a single symptom. If it weren't for the BFP and MIA AF, I wouldn't even know I was pregnant. Which partly make me nervous, but then I wonder if maybe I'll have a smooth pregnancy this time! FX
@jakobaby I found some ginger "Tummydrops" that seem promising. Also, I'll take ginger root and slice it, leave it in my water bottle overnight. Mild tasting and really helps with nausea!
I'm having my favorite pregnancy symptom where I sleep deeply and hard all night (if DD lets me). Last night was amazing...8 solid hours As a recovering insomniac, this is miraculous!
@cyanope I’m oddly the opposite. DH even went to a happy
hour and came home VERY buzzed and almost blurted out to my mom that we were
pregnant (waiting to tell her), and I remained calm, lol. I think maybe since I
am normally irritated I’m having the inverse lol… or I am taking it all out on
work! But I say embrace the bitchiness. What age do you teach?
@cyanope I was raging last night and threw a complete fit. My husband had meetings after work so I had to deal with our dogs (2 plus the one we're dog sitting) which was fine but they were being super obnoxious and needy. By the time he got home (an hour later than he said he would be) I was just in full on rage mode and he made the mistake of coming home without the crab cake sandwich I asked him to bring me for dinner because he couldn't get anybody's attention at the restaurant. I was so freaking mad and I ended up going to bed at 8:30 with no dinner. I'm actually still really mad about it this morning. I was looking forward to that sandwich all freaking day yesterday.
@missblaze right?! And then he didn't even offer to get me anything else or make me something. I know I'm an adult and can get my own dinner, but usually he's the one that cooks and I was just over it at that point.
Oh, @gusgus14...that is the WORST. I definitely would have lost my mind!
I teach high school, @EmilyLove25, so at least it wasn't little kids I was yelling at. The kid I told to shut up totally deserved it, but I pride myself on keeping my cool when my students are being little jerks, so it was definitely out of the ordinary for me! You should have seen the looks on my students' faces!
@elizabethmae315 I feel exactly the same. I'm 5+5 and apart from some intermittently sore boobs... I have nothing! I'm not overly tired or nauseous. It's freaking me out!! We have our first ultrasound next Friday so hoping for some good news then.
Folks, I just puked in my office trash can and I've never been happier. HELLO, symptom, I'm so thrilled to see you. I had also just had red Gatorade mostly today (since 6 AM) so honestly, it could have been worse. I seriously want my MS to ramp up! It's reassuring!
Oh my goodness my tata's are killing today! On the sides almost under my armpits. I don't even want to wear a bra today haha. I keep waiting for ms to hit. Anxiously waiting. I have a feeling I'll look back at myself and laugh!
@Eags I am so glad to hear I'm not alone with the heart flutters! So annoying especially when laying down to go to bed. I feel like one big walking hormone.
Yep, anytime I'm laying down, they're worse! I can't stand it.
Im starting to get a touch of nausea today. And the heartburn started in yesterday. I'm only 4w6d. These are starting early for an unmediated pregnancy!

Yay for puking, @EmilyLove25! I doubt we'll feel that way by next week. Today is my first official day of food aversions/mild nausea. I'm right on track. It started at about 6.5 weeks last pregnancy, and that's where I am now. I couldn't eat my protein bar today (it's still sitting in my desk), and I had to choke down my almonds. I've also had several waves of nausea too. I texted DH, and his response was, "great...here we go!"
@saraterp3 Have you tried a neti pot? Its really weird at first but once you get used to it, it is sooooo satisfying and makes you feel better, even temporarily. I agree with @PhillymommaX2 you may want to either talk to another dr or if your symptoms are really bad talk to your dr again. I have really bad allergies (had to get allergy shots in high school and have had epinephrine twice in my life) and my Dr okayed me to continue to use my allergy med. She said the benefit of me continuing to take my medicine outweighed the very slight possible risk that allergy meds might have on the baby. She also explained that they have that classification for most drugs during pregnancy because the drug manufacturer can't do testing on pregnant women and don't want to risk lawsuits. Again your dr will know your case best, but maybe try talking to your dr again if you really are miserable.

Good god. Fatigue hit me like a ton of bricks this evening. Can barely keep my eyes open! FX I get at least an hour of QT with DH tonight! Also, anything one can do for the bloat? I feel like a whale. Thank goodness for LLR leggings! I'm positive no other pants would fit today.
Main symptom I have is my milk supply has dried up and LO is now 100% on formula. First indication I thought I was pregnant was when I didn't pump near as much at work last week. I didn't nurse at all yesterday and decided to pump because I felt a little uncomfortable and only a few drops came out. Made it almost a year which is great but I was hoping to nurse a little longer in this pregnancy journey so I'm a bit sad. I was planning to gradually wean by my body had other plans...
@sbishop426 I'm still BFing my 19 month old (a few times a day/night--maybe three total). I thought I was totally drying up too but it came back. Yours might too! Although who misses pumping at work....
The tiredness. I have been working from home the last month or so which means I had plenty of opportunities to rest and zine out during the day. This week and next I'm training some new hires so I'm in the classroom ALL DAY LONG and have to be "on" the whole time. I'm ready to sleep for a week. Also taking a shower my arms grazed my tatas and I thought I was going to die...that symptom had pretty well gone away I thought....
@EmilyLove25 I'm the opposite as well. Normally I have a very short fuse. Now whenever I start to get angry in just dies midway. It's so bizzar. I don't hold anger the way I used to. I'll certinaly take it though!
By this time last pregnancy, I was having ALL THE SYMPTOMS. I'm kind of bummed that I'm not experiencing any...it's hard to believe this is really happening or to get excited about it. It's like I'm in denial or something.
My only "symptom" is that I've been super fatigued and trying to sleep in as much as
possible, but my SO is making me feel like a lazy slob about it. =/

@JuliaGoolia719 Any tips for staying productive when you just want to eat and nap? I'm new to the working-from-home lifestyle (I was just granted the ability to do some flex time/telecommuting/whatever you want to call it), and I'm assuming that later in the first trimester I'm going to want to sleep the day away and then I'm going to want to "nest." How do you stay focused?

Hot flashes already starting- getting ready for work had been glowing, I mean, sweating. Good thing they keep it nice and cold at the office. I live in Texas and the high has been in the 80s lately and SO humid. Yuck! I'm not looking forward to the 100+ weather
@EmilyLove25 I wanted to feel the nausea as well until it got here. I told myself I would be prepared. Well, started yesterday with the runs and never went away. It's starting so early this time-and guess who's not prepared?
I am still waiting for permanent symptoms, but so far nothing worth noting. I've gotten nausea like twice in a week, and my boobs don't really hurt unless I push on them too hard (obviously). When will ask that start? Im 6x3, high hcg and low progesterone
So far my symptoms have not been too crazy. My boobs are sore off and on, I am bloated, have some light cramping off and one a well. I have also noticed that I am pretty emotional (which I am most of the time anyway), but I have been getting teary eyed at reading all things related to baby and full on cried through communion at church last Sunday - lol! Not sure what that was all about.
The only other big problem I am having is that I have pretty much stopped pooping. I was pretty irregular before, but now I am taking fiber supplements and colace caplets at night and still not getting any relief. This is, of course, adding to my bloat and making me not want to eat. I plan to talk to my doctor about it, but my appointment is two weeks away - its going to be a long two weeks for so many reasons. If anyone has any other suggestions on how to solve this problem I would appreciate it.

Nausea poked its head in today. Had it for about an hour, wasnt sure I was going to make it into work without needing to stop!
Is anyone else crazy thirsty all the time??
