Has anyone else had cramping during the night? I don't have any spotting other than the faintest pink when I wipe today but of course I'm freaking out. I'm at 6 weeks and have had some cramping, but last night was worse.
I think cramps are pretty normal. I had some really severe cramping for about 2 weeks. It turned out I had a subchorinic hemorrhage (there was some bleeding). I'm now 9 weeks and still get cramps at night and the hemorrhage is mostly healed. Definitely mention it to your doctor! Maybe call and ask if you dont have an appointment for a while?
@GraysonsMama go see pelvic floor physical therapy! Seriously game changer, saved my marriage and probably can be at least partially thanked for me being willing to get KU again. Do it!
+1 to the bigger boobs. I noticed yesterday I got the quad-boobs from my cups being too small
@kvacmak, I feel like there's a rock in my ute, sometimes. Not painful, not comfortable. I was about to start googling 'when does your uterus get bigger' or something because that's what it feels like is going on...

I am having one of those days where I feel like I have been sick for forever and my nerves are so frazzled. I feel alone and panicked and DH just doesn't seem to get it. All I want to do is curl up in bed and cry and cry but I can't because I have to go to work where only the managers know and I'm sure the rest of these people think I've lost my mind.
I'm a ball of nerves. I had wicked bad cramps all day and night yesterday. Now today no cramps but I have a really bad head ache and I have spotting. It's a darker red color so I am going to wait a bit before calling my doctor but I'm nervous! I didn't have any spotting with DD so this is new to me.
I'm sorry @brittabatwhite Maybe curling up into a ball and crying will help? It helps me sometimes. Can you take a warm bath to relax and go to bed early? I know the feeling and it's no fun. Hugs girl
Thanks guys! I got a response back from my doctor and she says it's all good. She said not to do any Japanese straightening treatments though. Not a problem lol.
@breezybee - those include the keratin treatments that @vauxthekate said that her doc said were ok. A lot of straightening treatments emit formaldehyde. I've gotten multiple straightening treatments but during one of my keratins I had a horrible reaction. It's a lotttt of chemicals on your scalp. I wouldn't recommend any of those types of treatments during pregnancy!
For 5 days straight now I feel so weak. All I do is sleep, sit and eat (to keep the nausea away). I feel like I might be depressed and it's not just the pregnancy symptoms. IDK I feel like I wasn't this bad the first time around. I am literally forcing myself to laugh or smile during conversations and trying to make an effort to be engaged. Hopefully I'll snap out of it soon because I really wanted to enjoy this pregnancy because this will be the last planned one we have.
My nausea let up today, and I was so thankful for finally getting some work done. Then after about an hour, I stopped feeling thankful and started feeling worried, thinking that the diminished nausea was a bad thing. This is such a roller coaster. I'm trying to be zen like @tennis11785 but I'm finding it more difficult than it sounds....
@pink flamingo I'm sorry you're struggling, that's no fun at all. I know very little about depression, other than that one should take it seriously. You might want to call you doctor just to check in, though, because if you're actually having a depression, you might not be able to just snap out of it.
@brittabatwhite I'm sorry you had a bad morning, hope you got through the day ok.
@lablover920 FX that your symptoms are just of the normal variety
Y'all I look like I'm 6 months pregnant. Thebloat is soooo real this morning.
Completely. Struggling to fit into any of my work clothes currently... I definitely look like I have a bump even though it is all bloat and food and gas

@peachy13 maybe because you're not up and moving throughout the night as you are in the day so it pools and has to go somewhere in the morning.
The last 2 days the nausea has been horrendous. I'm shaky and my pulse is racing. I just feel really odd. Does anyone take reglan for nausea? I have some from a previous pregnancy but trying to put off taking it until I talk to my new OB. Unfortunately my first appointment isn't until May 25th. I've tried calling but haven't gotten a response yet.
I think I'm finally ready to claim my night sweats as a pregnancy symptom. So gross every morning, probably at least since my BFP, and maybe before but I wasn't paying attention because I was so sure I was out.
@camomile_june@midway_mouse Thanks for the well wishes. Midwife didn't seem concerned and spotting has stopped. If it happens again before my Thursday appointment next week she said we will do labs. Glad she's not too worried and thinks it is all normal.
Has anyone gotten their blood test back with a positive for low antibodies?
I had my test done Tuesday, and results were supposed to post online yesterday. Nothing. So I called today. The nurse said HCG was great, but that I had low antibodies. She didn't even know what it meant. I'm still waiting for the Doctor to call back 4 hours later..
@MJDsquared, I'm not having night sweats, but I'm usually pretty cold natured and I've noticed I'm more comfortable or warm lately. So the temperature change is real.
Symptoms..... my 3 doctors r all telling me different things. I think I posted before about how I'm getting food allergy testing done bc I have a lot of diarrhea... but in the last 2 weeks I've had, let's call it, extreme diarrhea. So my gyno says no its not hormonal or pregnancy related. My general doctor says it's travelers diarrhea. And my food allergist says it's definitely not travelers diarrhea and that it could be pregnancy related. I love confusion.

Thanks @vvitchhazel I honestly believe the food allergist over everyone. However I'm feeling really discouraged bc we did more testing today and I again was allergic to every food we tested. He wants me to do elimination and adding dieting to test my sensitivity to each but I honestly don't think I'm going to go forward with it. For example, for the next 2 weeks he wants me to only eat beef, oranges, grapes, lemons, and bananas (bc those are literally the only things I'm not allergic to.) I don't think I can handle that. Then each week we would add 1 food to that.

@AMCsquared Wow. That's insane. I'm so so sorry. I wonder if it's pregnancy related in that your hormones are changing. I developed a sensitivity to eggs when I had my daughter. I would get miserable stomach cramps that would have me down and out for an entire day. I was so sensitive that one bite of lasagna (with egg as a binder in the ricotta) had me bed bound with stomach cramps. The sensitivity completely disappeared when I got my period back, which leads me to believe it was hormonal.
I've had daily diarrhea for about 10 years and just decided not to look into it until now bc I hate doctors and I'm an asshole. And now that I'm pregnant it's like oh what a great time to try dealing with this lol

Oh good @brittabatwhite. That always helps a little I just got home from the longest and hardest day of my week. Wow. Woke up at 5am, went to work, made breakfast for 4 kids, drive carpool for 5 kids, pottery class for myself, picked up kids from school, recitals downtown at the Asian Art Museum, getting back to my side of the city after fighting through 45 minutes of traffic to get 2 freaking miles, dropped kids off at their house (I'm a nanny), and FINALLY home. Jesus. I asked my husband to draw me a bath with extra bubbles and he did. Now he's making me dinner. God I love him so fucking much it kills me. I'm going to sleep so well tonight!!!!!!!
Ok, ladies! I really want Chinese food! I've read articles that caution pregnant women about consuming it due to MSG. I've also read that Chinese food ok to eat, in moderation, of course. I need the truth! Please help!
@ehill17 I ate Chinese with DD. I am not generally scared of all these "rules" of pregnancy though. I mean you can ask your doctor to put your mind at ease but if it were me...I would order some Chinese! Probably wouldn't eat it everyday but if you get a craving I say go for it!
I went out and bought a size F bra yesterday because my boobs are growing like crazy. Hard to keep my DH's hands off of them, lol. MS in the morning and extreme exhaustion in the afternoon. Watched my friends 10 month twins yesterday along with my 6 year old and I was done for the rest of the day. Too tired to function. Also, my face is super dry. Like peeling dry. It happened with my daughter too. Anyone have a good trick for this?
The acne is starting. I've always had pretty clear skin, just a couple small pimples on my face around my period. So, I have a few on my face, whatever. But this morning I noticed one right in the middle of my chest. And it's high up so I'd have to wear a super high neckline to cover it. There are a couple more pink spots around it that aren't raised and I hope they don't raise like this one...
Has anyone else had symptoms non-existent in the morning, only to slowly come on throughout the day? I had a panic moment this morning when my boobs felt deflated, but they are swelling and tender again. This past week, no ms, but by the end of the day, I was nauseous, headaches and super tired.
Has anyone had any HCG levels taken? I had cramping and light spotting so I had mine taken on Wednesday to see if they were high enough for an ultrasound. According to the dr calculator I was 5w5d, the bump said 6w1d, and my levels were over 20,000. Hoping that's a good sign. Ultrasound later today to double check. I think that 20,000 is within normal range but the range is so wide and with the different week calculations it's hard to know.
@midway_mouse I normally feel pretty good in the mornings and then as the day goes on I feel worse... although today I woke up with not just sore boobs but they just flat out hurt.... @MJDsquared I'm with you on the acne... ughhh. I have one coming up near my nose that feels deep.....

Mornings have been great, it's afternoon and evening when ms and fatigue hit me. Not typical for me, but rolling with it.
