Ha I gotcha beat most nights we are both in bed at 9pm and asleep by 930pm. DH it's more like 901pm once head hits the pillow. Saturday night we might stay up til 10
Oh and I can barely sleep past 6. Work days I have a harder time waking up. Weekends and vacations, it's rise and shine time. Can't sleep. It's the aging thing

Freelance life over here and I've never been a morning person. You bet when I worked corporate I was passed out by 9:30 and up at 6:30 but that's been 7 years.
I'm one of those wacky up all the time people - morning person for workouts but get my work done late at night when no one can bother me! I'll be up working until about midnight tonight i'd guess....

Trying to get back in shape with healthy eating habits is hard when you've been wallowing in sadness and frustration with a diet that consisted predominantly of chocolate for 9 months. I've been without chocolate for 1 week (which has been really hard!!!), but I'm feeling better already!
Is anyone else trying hard (or struggling) to eat healthy and exercise?

@weareturtles - a week without chocolate? You are a brave woman
My advice on exercise is to find some form of it that you enjoy because then you will want to do it. You'd never find me running for sure. Also, don't get caught up on the calories - just try and eat as clean as you can and it's ok to have 1 cheat meal every week.
@vlagrl29 - Brave or crazy, I suppose. I'm not good at chocolate in moderation, so I am going to have to figure that one out. I have always been athletic and exercise regularly, but the surgeries and everything I've gone through in the past 9 months made that complicated and pulled me from the gym for the majority of it. I am getting back into the swing of it as far as exercise goes, but my eating habits have been pretty much "stress" eating all the time for the past 9 months, which made me feel crappier. I've changed up what I have around the house and in the fridge and it's going well so far this week. I just hope I can keep it up!
@Mack2342 - I hear you! Food has been comfort for me at times like when I cannot exercise because I have a balloon in my uterus. I've developed some bad habits, now I need to get back to good habits.

@weareturtles Struggling to lose weight and be healthy here! I have to drop 21 pounds (15 now) before they'll do the progesterone biopsy. So benched until then. Down 5 pounds already! I did a no sugar challenge last week with a friend (Weekdays only) and it was really hard.

I so badly want to start an intense exercise program (one of the beachbody ones) with my husband but over the past few months I have been either pregnant or miscarrying. I've been trying to shift my focus on healthy eating and telling myself that healthy food choices will make a healthy little home for a future baby. But dang ben and jerrys keeps calling my name!
@msstephanielynn I almost punched the doctor who told me I needed to lose 21 lbs. to have my biopsy in the face. I'm like... dude, I lose weight and tone up, get pregnant and am too tired to do a lot of exercise (plus I'm not allowed to skate which is my #1 type of cardio), I'm running around for bloodwork and everything else, I get bloated even though I don't tend to 'gain' weight, and then I miscarry and am depressed and in pain and upset and I gain weight on top of the bloating. Just leave me alone dude.
