I swear... bad news/shit comes in 3s. First our new furnace crapped out last week and we had repairmen out twice to resolve the issue (Friday and Saturday). Second on Sunday DD developed viral conjunctivitis so the poor thing is combating another virus in less than 2 weeks time. Third on Sunday evening I took a nasty fall at a construction site (my IL's new house) with DD in my arms. Luckily DD and baby are fine, but my god is my body hurting something fierce! My right side absorbed the blow in an effort to protect the two (baby and DD). I'm bruised up and down my right leg/arm, my head was bleeding and now has a giant goose egg. WTF.

@CurlyMommy416 so far so good. I am much slower than normal and am having my husband push the stroller way more frequently, but we are still having a good time!

I'm really liking this whole thing of being pregnant when I already have a toddler and am a sahm. Last pregnancy I was interviewing pediatricians and filling out paperwork for them, and this time I just asked the nurse at dd's well-visit what I need to do to get the new baby in their system, and she was like...just call when you get discharged from the hospital. Last time I was doing all this paperwork for my short term disability leave and state family bonding leave, and this time I am home anyway so I have no documents to deal with. Last time I was buying stuff myself and keeping a registry updated for my shower, and this time I am vaguely considering bringing my junk up from the basement to make sure it is clean. It's awesome.

DH might be getting an awesome opportunity at work. So I'm keeping everything crossed that it works out. He should find out for sure in the next couple days!

People need to shut the heck up about how big my baby is going to be. My first 3 babies were 7lb this baby is measuring 10th% on ultrasound. I seriously doubt I will have a 10-11lb baby. HUGE EYEROLLS. I'm just fat a-holes.

Sitting here at work right now trying to psych myself up for the meeting in a half hour with the superintendent where I (along with all non tenured teachers in the district) will be given official notice that I might not have a job in the fall. Ugh. I'm a crier, and it's worse when I'm pregnant. Trying to hold myself together and be "professional". School district budget/town politics sucks.

Yesterday a coworker told me, "It's gonna be a big baby!" WTF? You do not get to comment on how big I am!
And my mom called first thing this morning to tell me my little brother (who is 27) had to have an emergency appendectomy last night. He's fine, but jeez.

I love the people that comment on my size. The other day within minutes of each other one person said I wasn't going to make it to my due date and another one said I was so small. Thanks for your opinions, people!

I don't get that many comments about my size, because I carry pretty small and have so far been mostly dressing to hide my pregnancy from nosy idiots. But yesterday an old lady at church said to me, "When do you think this one is coming? June? I don't think so, sweetie, I was out to here by that point." I said, yes, I'm definitely due in June, and she said "ok..." in a ready disbelieving voice. Lady, I am 5'10" and have a super long torso. I'm obviously going to carry different than someone who is almost a foot shorter than me. How do you get to be 70+ years old without noticing that not all pregnancies are the same?

You ou guys I had a premonition my cousin would go into labor this weekend so I text her Saturday telling her to let me know if she needed me to watch the kids since I had a feeling something would happen and sure enough she called at 6:15am Sunday that her water had broken (she was 39 weeks with her third). So we had a fun play day with her kiddos yesterday and she had her baby late last night!! Which makes it more real for me so I went to target and started buying all the little crap I need for this baby!!

We will see when we get closer lol. It was so odd. I was getting ready that morning and just knew that it would happen that weekend. She would have been 39 weeks today so it's not like she was over due but it was her third and she was ready! I'm glad we live by each other because all our other family lives almost 3 hours away. I watched her kids from 7am - 2:30pm when her Dad finally got here.

Yesterday we were on a walk/waddle and a lady said to me "you're not walking to go into labor are you?" Umm no. I still have 2 months. After I told her the due date she was like "Oh, now that I get a closer look you aren't that big." Nice save lady.

I took the twins to Marshalls today because I had some things to return. I feel like if I can take 2, 4 month old babies out and about by myself at 7 months pregnant I will have no problem taking my own baby out by myself! Also, a lady in line asked how old they were and I hope she was super confused about how they are 4 months old and I am way pregnant lol

I'm kind of glad vacation is over tomorrow. As much as I've enjoyed the sun and relaxing, all the walking has me so stinking sore! Getting out of the bed each morning is quite the task! On the plus side, I have managed to not get sunburnt, which is a major accomplishment for me!

Im on a work training trip for the next two weeks. These trips are mandatory and a total pain in the ass bc I have to rearrange child care for DS. Well Im feeing stressed bc I am a govt employee and the govt could be shut down as of Friday if congress doesnt get their shit together and pass a budget by then. Not only would I be furloughed for however long it takes it would also mean starting the class over from scratch. Two more weeks of training and even more complicated bc Ill have two babies at home to figure out what to do about. Seriously Congress, dont f this up!
On the plus side the location isnt bad. I just went on a two hour beautiful hike in Minutemen National Historic Park.

Seriously I know!! I know I'm giant looking, but dd was just over 6 lbs late and little guy is measuring the same. Then they have to ask if I'm sure about my dates. Yes I'm sure! I finally had to explain to fil that they do dating ultrasounds now. Lol

@mrt that really sucks!!!! I was pinkslipped my 2nd year teaching and it sucks! Our little school in Montana is hiring!!! Our superintendent is an arse but the rest of the staff is awesome!!!!

@mrt. Ugg so stressful. I lost my teaching position a month before my wedding it was horrible. You would think with the teacher shortage, we would all be safe but they keep talking moneh from education. Pretty soon there will be no one left in school but one teacher per grade level and a principal.
