@Sprite2012 I can relate, sort of. I had two labor buddies and neither of them posted anything for me. I went a whole month early, so it wasn't due to them being busy with a new baby. I'm pretty sure they weren't interested in posting about my csection since I wasn't "laboring" and then when it all went badly, I think they weren't sure if they should share.
For those interested, I say go for it! I didn't end up with one last time and come labor time the last thing I wanted to do was update anyone about anything. I never had time to be bored. But that probably from starting labor at 10/11pm, and not sleeping until later the next day when I got the epidural after transferring.
I had a labor buddy on my last BMB. She had her baby a few days before me, and was too busy (obviously) to post about my labor and birth of DS. I was one of the very last on my previous BMB to give birth (I think there was one or two after me). It was anticlimactic and I was honestly a bit bummed because I loved the labor buddy posts. Anyway, I'll sit this one out!
I think some bmbs have done it so that two people due in the same week/2-week span aren't buddied together (unless they specifically want to be because they know each other or something). Having said that, even doing selective buddying doesn't guarantee the babies won't be born VERY close together, since some babies are born early and some are born late, so who actually knows what order these little ones will actually be born in :S

@HollyGolightly09 the last BMB board I was on... someone started a thread and I clicked on it to find a picture of her what she thought was her mucus plug... your post took me back to that moment when I clicked and got a picture I never wanted to see... please let's all make a pact right here and now no muscus plug pictures to the board unless your labor buddy has a deal with you! Haha.
(Luckily the post was deleted quickly from the board...and the title of the post was something that didn't make me think there would be a picture of the plug... haha)

I for one can gaurantee you I will not subject you to that. Scout's honor.

I second this. If you don't know what it is or want to look at comparison pics, GTS it. Nobody wants to look at pictures of that nastiness.
Good news! I missed mine the first time! Hoping to miss it again this time didn't mean to make anyone sick... was just hoping that we can reach a consensus on MP etiquette because it apparently is not common sense.
I put Other as I'm open to it or if it didn't work out that I was picked for it, that's okay too. I didn't do it with my other bump group so it would be a first for me. I'm totally flexible as to what happens
