@sjohns08 you see youd have tons of yard sales buddy here. I def can relate. I dont have anyfriends anymore cause either they were into partying and me inviting them over to "chill" (cause i hate going out of my place unless its to walk... Or yard sales!) sounded too boring to them or they werent real. So im lame. My bestie is my husband and i love shopping with him cause he gets as excited as i do when i find bargains (we re both cheap).... But i still wish id have someone else to do that with when H is busy, or gets on my nerves lol.
You guise. I'm sorry so many of you can relate, but it helps to know you can. It sucks growing up because you grow at different speeds from your friends and drift apart. Then shit happens and it's just lonely
Also @TallMomma29 omg the cup holders and sliding doors!! I always swore I would never get a minivan, now I'm all upset I may have to trade it in to get a suburban. Those sliding doors are a God send. Not having to worry about my kids dinging other people's car doors and being able to push a button and say "get in"...amazing. life changing.
Speaking of avatars and SN... I wanted to start a GTKY Your wedding thread. I had one in S17. So Ill ask :Would you ladies feel comfy sharing pics and wed stories?

I would, but TB is actually super against any and all photo sharing apparently.
@Myelhsa pregnancy brain. Totaly forgat that detail. So let me rephrase. Once TB fixes their pic/gif issue. Would you mamaz feel comfy sharing wedding pics and stories?
@yasandson yes! I have a very interesting story that ends up we ran off and eloped when I was 19
Mine is mildly instresting. Our judge didn't show up so my gay friend Steve married us. My super Catholic grandma almost had a heart attack and keep asking if this was even legal. Oh grandma.
@Myelhsa oh grandma! That's hilarious! Our judge showed up with a huge dip of snuff in his mouth and I'm pretty sure the maintenance man at the place we met to get married was our witness.. my husband loved it lol!
My older brother officiated our wedding because it was the only way for me to include him. He did such a great job that my wedding planner asked for his card so she could give them out to her other clients haha. My wedding was great, but the weeks leading up to it were a straight up mess. A GTKY would be fun!
My dad might be coming to visit for a few days next month. He lives 8-9 hours away, so we don't see each other too often. Well, on one of his days here I have an ultrasound/doc appointment. My husband doesn't think he can go that day, would it be weird if my dad came? He said he would love to come if it was ok with me. The only thing is, I'm not sure what kind of ultrasound it will be (transvaginal vs standard). I'll be 15-16 weeks and it's to check cervix length.
I know it's not like he would be down in my area looking around and all, but just didn't know if it would be weird if it IS transvaginal.
I told him it could be that kind but there would be a drape over me and I figured he would have been SUPER weirded out by it, just the type of guy he is (he would leave the room when I nursed my son). But having the opportunity to see the babies on the big screen made him super excited.
@curlyq423. I dont think its weird. At my first sweep (for Std) H stayed behind the curtains and she opened it up only when I was fully clothed. Im guessing the curtain will make it ok.
Edited to add the dr also tried to listen to baby s heartbeat during that apointment with doppler, and H was still behind curtains.
@natleilynn I had an ultrasound at 11.5 weeks for growth and to hear the heartbeats (they weren't sure if the doc would be able to hear them on her small handheld Doppler). That was also transvaginal.
And TMI....they couldn't lube it up before because I was having a pap done afterwards and the lube would mess with that. I should have asked for a minute alone with my husband
@curlyq423 ouchhhhh! Then if you think it would bother you, I'd just call the doctor's office to see how they plan to do it. Then you'll know whether or not you'd want to invite him

It's awesome having other moms expecting twins around online because when other moms say "omg twins that's so exciting!" I'm pretty sure what they are actually thinking is "phew! Glad it's not me!" FFFC: That is what I always really thought when people told me they were expecting twins. Thanks, karma!
@carries2018 We want at least one girl. I admitted to my husband since we want at least one girl, I hope they are both girls so I can match them in dresses and bows and shoes. Yes, I want to be that mom.
my girls are 19 months apart i pretend that they are twins and match at all chances i get. i barely reuse DD1 clothes bc i am like newp gotta get something that matches!
People already ask all the time if our current two are twins (13.5 months apart and the younger one is even bigger for her age than the older one). I don't dress them in matching clothes but I do coordinate their outfits with each other and with me whenever possible!
@curlyq423 I'm hoping for two girls too! We already have all the stuff for girls, and I know how to deal with girls now.
DH is holding out a teensy bit of hope for boys but feels destined to have all girls (there is this weird thing with pilots where they are more likely to have girls). He said he wants a reaaaally nice bottle of scotch if it turns out they're both girls.
H was a little sad when we found out it was a boy haha. he is excited
obviously. but he loves being a girl dad. whilst if i got to pick, i would probably pick a boy, i am freaking out bc it just
dawned on me eventually this boy will be a teenager. and i don't have
brothers. i am terrified what i am going to walk in on. H says
"well...knock...like a normal person"
@carries2018 I did that when my girls were younger. Almost daily! Target used to have cute variations on the same style shirts and skirts etc. so I went all cray cray and matched them always. I'd share pics but TB is a TW
