@slaven I think I know a little of how you feel... I was squatting in the garden last weekend planting seeds and transplanting starts and my abdomen was so uncomfortable! It was morning, so I wasn't even bloated yet

Ugh, you guys, woke up this morning to some light pinkish blood on the toilet paper. I haven't had any spotting so far, so while I know it's common, it's hard not to freak out at least a little bit.

@bcashaw it's higher up around my belly button which is why I'm skeptical to think it's my uterus at this point because I don't think it's that high yet. I have my first abdominal u/s this week so I'll hopefully get a better idea of where lo is. It isn't necessarily painful or worrisome which is good, just more uncomfortable.
I have had a rough couple of days with nausea and back pain and feeling like I could cry at any moment. There are 3 other pregnant women at my work and they assure me it's going to get better but the 2nd trimester feels so far away. I am 9 weeks and 1 day today.
@angkay711 it's so frustrating waiting for an unknown magical day when you'll feel better. FX you feel better soon. @slaven let us know when you find out !
@lahansen Hope it isn't there next time you go to the bathroom to give you some peace of mind. We hear so often that spotting and cramping is common, but when it actually happens it can be worrying even though we know it happens to a lot of people with no issue.
@lahansen hoping it's all fine! When I had my awful cramps last week the OB did say the pain was normal and even some spotting is totally normal but I know it's hard not to worry. FX it goes away!
Warning--bitchfest ahead. I am having one of those days. I feel completely unattractive, I'm sick of feeling crummy pretty much everyday, I feel like I've totally lost control of my body. Almost had a meltdown standing in front of my closet this morning. I know it'll pass and I'll feel better, but I am in full-on wallowing mode so I'm thankful I have a place like this to get it off my chest. And thank God for my sweet husband who said all the right things even though I probably sounded like an irrational crazy woman. I'm just ready to feel like myself again.
@slaven I'm no doctor or anything, but your uterus has grown an awful lot since you got pregnant even though it hasn't moved up much. It seems like it would squish things around in there. I've had a feeling sometimes that my organs are squished more too. I don't know if I'm imagining it but it makes sense to me.

@slaven@emucoleman I've seen a better gif than this video I'm linking, but it was interesting to me to see how much the organs shift during pregnancy to accommodate the baby!
@lahansen Hope everything is okay and it has stopped.
Question for my migraine ladies - this has been the week from hell. Caught a cold (my son brought home from preschool) which turned into a sinus infection with a fever and earache. That all started to clear up about day 3, but I think it triggered a pregnancy migraine. I've never had a migraine before. This is day 3 and I'm so miserable. Been taking Tylenol and drinking lots of water but not really helping. How long do your migraines typically last? Any tips to cope would be so appreciated.
@MissMonroe11 I got a migraine Saturday night (I think from not eating enough and having enough water). I just had to wait it out. It was still there Sunday but Sunday night I slept on two soft pillows and it went away. I got one last night as well but did the same soft pillow thing and it was gone this morning. I also drank hot water and lemon before bed which probably means nothing but is at least hydrating? Migraines are seriously the worst and even moreso when you can't take Excedrin which is magic. Hoping yours goes away soon
@MissMonroe11 3 days is usually typical for mine and then a lingering minor headache for a few days after. My MW said not much you can do but ride it out or maybe try a magnesium supplement if your care provider approves.
I feel like I got hit by a truck today. We spent 6 hours walking Busch Gardens in almost 90 degree temps. How am I going to do this for the rest of the summer? Damn you Florida.
Oh lord, the nausea train hit today. It was ok yesterday, today I can't even look at food! Getting down water for my water for my ultrasound is a challenge right now!
@irishfrisky I feel you so hard. I'm so nauseous, it's terrible and all food smells overwhleming to me. I am so sad because I'm such a foodie.
During my US this week they said I was two weeks behind, and I really don't believe it timeline wise. I have to go back Tuesday. BUT now that I am suddenly sick I'm starting to believe them because I have felt like hell for three days. Also props to you working mamas to be, I'm an ex teacher, self employed from home now, but remembering the entire day on my feet idk how any of you are doing it! I am out of breath just going up the stairs.
Ugghh I still don't know why they named it morning sickness if it last all day! I'm feeling alot better today tho, I've had the pukey side of morning sickness since day one where just breathing made me sick but to it hasn't shown up at all! I was finally able to actually eat something for the first time In weeks without running to the bathroom or for a bucket! I'm so happy! But kinda scared to leave my room for risk that the smell of something someone made will send me running
Thanks for all the good thoughts ladies... I have continued to very lightly spot all day, but it seems to have stopped now. I talked to the nurse at my clinic and she said to call back if it continued, but my first U/S is on Monday, so hopefully I will find out what's going on then.

Super nauseous, can't stop vomiting, at my appointment today I found out that I'm down 5.5 pounds. not a huge deal, and I'm actually glad I didn't GAIN 5 pounds, because what little I can keep down is all carbs.
The blurry vision is driving me crazy. Really, crazy. I also have a ton of lower back pain (I was born with a neural tube defect and have chronic back pain as a result, I think it's those hormones doing me in.) and headaches nonstop.
I graduated from the RE yesterday and saw the OB today - he wants me on baby aspirin because hypertension put me on bedrest last time. So far so good on my bp though!

Worst gas pain ever last night amd sinus headache today. My sinuses habe been so bad with the pregnancy. I can't tell if it's just because the pregnancy coincided with Spring or if it's the pregnancy.
Must have been something in the air last night. Yesterday I hardly ate. After shopping with the family I still had a horrible headache and neck ache. Decided we could try going out to eat. Went to a steakplace. My food was delicious but I just couldn't. My head hurt, I was nauseous and my heart was racing. Told DH we had to go or I would get sick. Got home and put DD to bed, I fell asleep with her around 8:30. Hoping for a better day today.
@MaximumEffort Agreed! Last night I just felt gross. A bad headache and neck ache popped up, and every time I stood up I had a rush of dizziness/pain in my head. That, combined with nausea and cramps made me the crabbiest, most impatient pregnant lady. My husband asked me to turn off a light at one point, and I reacted as though he asked me to run a marathon. Hoping today is a better day. I've noticed that my symptoms come and go, so I'm very lucky to get breaks here and there.
I just threw up in a grocery store bathroom...uuuggghhh. Does anyone have suggestions for something to throw up in when you're in public? I looked for those barf bags like in airplanes but couldn't find anything like that. Whenever I'm out I'm always furtively searching for trash cans, etc that I could puke in if I had to... (this is the first time I've actually thrown up in a public place but I keep worrying that I might)

@cmessamore I did the same thing. I have a stock in vomit bags from the hospital along with shopping/ziplock bags in my car, purse, everywhere.
Also, a change of clothes....many times I have either puked and/or peed on myself while driving to work. I would shower at work and change, it wasn't great but better than being late.
As for my own symptoms this week....HG still going strong and I've been going BM more often than before. Constipation is still there because of the higher dosage of Vofran but I think my body is regulating it a bit better. I also found that if I eat cereal, pasta or toast before bed I won't wake up puking until like 7-8a instead of 5-6a going to bed on an empty(ish) stomach. I keep a ziplock baggie of Crispix cereal in my purse for when I'm in the car and need to eat something to settle the nausea. I'm getting back into the swing of things as far as taking care of myself with HG and hoping that a PICC line won't be needed.
Drinking enough water is still a battle though. I've tried adding fruit or veggies to it to help with the taste but nothing helps really. I have a 48oz water bottle and TRY to drink at least 2 of those a day but I can usually only get through 1-1.5 bottles...ugh. I haven't gained any weight just yet, which worries me a bit, because I was already up 5-10lbs by this point with my other pregnancies.
Didn't realize I just wrote a book. TL;DR. Have a good weekend ladies!
