I've never smoked pot. Or done any sort of drugs. Unless you count alcohol. Even that, I was almost 21 before I ever had my first drink. My parents' strategy of "you're allowed to drink, just stay home and drink" totally worked on me - I was allowed to do it, so I never wanted to do it.
Strangely enough, I don't have strong feelings about pot. I mean, if they legalized it here, I wouldn't fight it or really care. I don't think it's as dangerous as alcohol can be (drinking + driving anyone?) and I've read so many positive stories about medical usage.

+1 on not having cleaned the house a good clean ever since pregnant (and im a stay at home wifey, sue me).
You made me think of another one...
I wash all dishes... Except for forks knives and spoons. I let them accumulate at the bottom of sink until i have no more clean ones and im forced to empty out sink.

I also havent cleaned the bathroom thoroughly during this pregnancy. It's looking like it's that time though...maybe this weekend? Ugh.
I'll try to think of a FFFC today, but nothing's coming to mind now.
And on in the bathroom. We live in the middle
of a cow pasture so my house stays sandy and dirty from us not having sidewalks and tracking dirt in. So I think I "deep" cleaned the bathroom like right before I found out I was pregnant.... and that's all lol
I can never discreetly order off amazon because dh and I share our prime account and he gets all the notifications. He'll actually call me after I order supplies for work and tells me how disappointed he was that the push notification wasn't something more exciting than labels or envelopes lol
@natleilynn dh and I also have separate bank accounts and split the bills. I always thought this was insane when I was first married. But I shit you not, our marriage went from fighting every other day to fighting maybe once a month. Best decision we've ever made.
I was thinking of changing my avatar to something that isn't one of my pics I've posted to fb so my insane mil can't find me on here with reverse image search. She's legit insane and will find anything. So sorry @carries2018 if you don't like the new one I come up with
I sort laundry, DH doesn't and it makes me crazy.
My wedding set isn't my original set. I upgraded 4 years ago, didn't get them sized until after dd2 was born so now I'm nervous they won't fit towards the end of this pregnancy. I would be super upset because I feel like everyone ALWAYS looks at pregnant women's hands to check for their rings.
FFFC: I half hope my dad calls me about the "real Grandma" situation so that I can tell them off and have a reason to start ignoring him and his wife. It's sooooo stressful dealing with them and I'm tired of it.

I mean, the way I see it is, he can't wipe me out, I can't wipe him out and we have good enough communication skills that if one of us knows a big expense is coming, we talk about it and pool our money together to pay it. But I get so many side eyes when people realize we have separate accounts. We split bills and dinners out - I don't know, it just works for us.

Anyway DH and I have a joint account and then our own credit cards also. We don't ask questions about purchases bc we both know we're not gonna splurge on something dumb. In any case we're. It's Amazon addicts and there's a new package like every day lol

i was advised to keep separate accounts prior to marriage and best advice eva! We have a household accounts (savings & checking) and we pay the bills from the checking. For major expenses we split into thirds.
But it yeah no arguments about who is spending what, when or why.

Re: finances. I'm in charge of the budget, paying all bills, etc. So, I buy whatever I want, and if DH questions something, it's usually: "is there room in the budget for that?" Obviously, my answer is always yes, regardless. And he doesn't necessarily know everything I buy. But I see all of his purchases, and throw shade if he goes rogue and buys something major without my approval. Mostly just teasing him, but he still feels guilty.
And so whenever i need somethings (kettle chips lately) i just look into the kinky clothes drawer and grab a little money.
