I really needed to go to Target to get excedrin and laundry detergent today. Instead, I've been firmly planted on the couch all day catching up on PLL.
I also just saw a Casey's commercial and want a pizza something fierce. But I live too far from them to have it delivered. Ugh FWPs.
@myelhsa. I did just have to give my VIN number to my insurance company when I just filed a car claim. Oh also, I'm watching the beautiful LCD display on my tv right now. I love my RAS syndrome!
I just ordered a pizza because DH isn't home for dinner tonight. Papa Johns has that track your pizza thing on their website. I just never feel like they cooked my pizza for long enough! Some things are better not knowing...
@jessafishy I just read (in Septembers spreadsheet poll thread) that a drive by in April/May awhile back deleted their whole spreadsheet in a fit of rage. Sept voted to lock the spreadsheet so only the admin had editing privileges. I wonder if that's a good idea for us, maybe when we have more sex results in?
eta: that's a lot of added work for you I know, so just floating it out there
@bluejeanbabi05 I do back it up periodically but considering I'm making probably 80-90% of the edits I don't see a problem with locking it.

Oh I just want to add that after a little research/lurking, it wasn't a drive by, there was a crazy April BMB split that happened, I don't know all the details. Sounds nuts, though.
When people pretend like they don't know what acronyms stand for. Like if you tell me that you need to go to the ATM machine I want to throat punch you because the M in ATM stands for machine so you literally just said automated teller machine machine.
Ugh I'm on mobile I really wanted to insert the Michael Scott "ASAP as possible" gif. I say this at work all the time to annoy my boss haha!
@riverraine-2 (or riverrainez!) I just climbed out of the black hole that was the April BMB last August. Can't link from mobile but I think the relevant threads were called things like: "good luck" "." "Board organization" and two of the quadruplet threads.
Someone posted an "I'm having quads!" Thread and got chastised for it. I'm all for organization but that blows my mind. If someone here is having quads, please post AW threads about it. Please post many of them.
@VLillyV both my other BMB's split once we were on fb. The first one was over one single person who was taking advantage of her bad situation to use everyone's kindness. Some of us called her out and we got banished, so we started our own fb group
Second one had a falling out over crazy people, or something of the sort. Crazy person went and started their own group and some people followed
On the BMB split topic. I was on PgAL and PAL boards with DD2. We had some cray Crays and the most of us went to FB groups when the kids were born. It was private and you had to be approved by the one who started it. Not just anyone could join. They denied a whole bunch of folks because their stories just didn't add up and/or their profile pics on fb sent a red flag. But it was more like " you can't sit with us " lol
This is kinda random... I always wanted to be the house that the girls brought friends over too. The one who all the kids wanted to come over etc. now that it's happening, I'm over it!! It's probably hormones but I feel like every weekend that isn't a competition weekend we have someone over. I don't have the heart to tell my girls no on this either unless we're busy. Even some weeknights we have kids over because a parent gets out of work late and we need to bring them back with us after dance ( like tonight and I'm soooooo tired). After writing this, I realized it's totes hormones.
@carries2018 I host thanksgiving. I have for the past 8 years. This year I'm like wtf am I going to do. I'm not handing my newborn over to slave in the kitchen for other people.
@canonmom413 My Thanksgiving hosting plans are to only cook the turkey and/or ham the day of. Everything else wil be done before hand and I will be telling other people what they need to bring. I know they will understand. And it will keep my mother in law away from the newborn with all her germs. (I say that because of experience last time when she tried to see my 2 day old baby in the hospital while ill...)
I'm hosting thanksgiving. And friemdsgiving. I'm panicking about friendsgiving bc that will be like 3 weeks PP. I just do the turkey. But the cleaning before and after. Ughhhh.
Ugh @dajocl I'm really thinking about cancelling this year. SIL brings her two dogs every year too. I'm just not comfortable with all those doggy germs and family germs with a 4 week old ( approx) in my own home. I just know I'll be " the bitch " if we tell them I'm not hosting this year.
Edit: but watch I'll cave and host and then come here or Our Fb group and complain the whole time about how horrible its going
Wow I envy you guys hosting things. Hosting things gives me way too much anxiety. What if I don't have enough food? What if people don't like the drinks? What if my house isn't clean enough? What if people get bored and never want to come over again and end up hating my guts? So. Much. Stress.
@canonmom413 I wouldn't blame you if you did cancel. Nor if you caved and then complained for days. It's a hard choice to make. The only reason I am willing to is because I have family coming specifically to meet the baby then and I don't want to go to my mil's because germs. Also, would so not be cool with the dogs and a newborn. I would hope they understand if you decide not to host. I mean, NEWBORN.
I've literally done no research on giving birth yet. I feel like I'm failing pregnancy so bad. I read about 20 pages in What to Expect and haven't gone back since. I'm probably doing everything wrong and I don't even know it! Shouldn't I be scouring through books learning as much as possible? Yep. Instead I'm too busy eating chocolate cake and watching Netflix.
@dumbledoredies I actually think it's better not to read up! I stopped reading up my first time around because everything I read freaked me out and I figured it would be better to just wing it than be terrified of all the things that might but probably wouldn't happen.
I'm cancelling Thanksgiving this year. Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, so I'll be, like, 38 weeks. Too far along to comfortably travel and too far along to give a damn about cooking a turkey. I fully plan on sending SO for takeout that day.
