GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now?
I didn't really have a clique; I was friends with individuals. I guess I'd fit in with either the smart kids or the art students. I also played sports though so it's hard to say, but I'm definitely not a jock! I can't think of any other clique categories.

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now?
In high school I definitely hung out with the nerds and geeks. Though my best friend from elementary school hung out with the stoners so I hung out with them too. I never really fit in with the stoners and still wouldn't, I would still fit in with the nerds and geeks though.

@KariAnn323 I've gotten random low temps before, it's nothing to be concerned about. As we say, you want to look at the big picture, not individual temps.
Also @garnetandgoldgrace and anyone else wondering, for PNVs I would suggest reading this thread. About halfway down the page linked, one of our members talks about them and how they are not regulated by the FDA and how to find ones that are about as regulated as you can get with vitamins.
@Cricket648 I'm sorry your appointment yesterday didn't go as you'd hoped. Is she independent or part of one of the systems (Metro, University, Clinic) around here? I'm a little surprised she didn't at least give you the provera but I understand her letting the RE do any testing since that is their specialty.

CS/Q:
GTKY: I was never a clique person. There were certain groups I hung out with more often than not (the theatre people, the social nerds) but I was never really part of the group. I would be left off of party invites, etc. Not because they didn't like me, but because I wasn't "in it" as much as everyone else. I sorta slipped out easily. Case and point, 2 groups of friends I had in high school still exist in my home town. They never left. They're dating the same people, hang out like they're still in high school. If I'm around, I could totally reach out and drop in. But I'm not in their group texts or invited on their vacations. So I guess, yeah I still fit in with them just as much as I did before, but that's not a lot to speak of in the first place.

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now? Our class actually wasn't all that cliquey. Middle school for sure but in high school everybody kind of hung out with everybody. I could still fit in with them but I rarely talk to any of them anymore and we mostly keep up on Facebook.

I got bullied as a freshman because the senior guys would talk to me and the girls didn't like that even though I didn't date or hang with them. Me and my closest friends have known each other since first grade (tiny private school). In high school, we were this like strange inbetween group. Very smart but not typical nerd. Not popular, but could get along with anyone. We loved fashion, art, girly things, but also aced our STEM classes. These girls are STILL my rocks, life has gotten busy tho, for all of us. GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now?
From 8th to 9th grade I went from a tiny Christian school to a giant public high school. It took a while to find a group that I felt remotely accepted in, but I never felt like they were "my people." By junior/senior years I was finally comfortable with my place in the high school hierarchy - I was just kinda friendly with everyone, and stayed out of drama, but didn't really feel like I entirely "fit" anywhere. But, I did have one or two really close friends. When I went to college I felt like I finally found my stride and my people. I'm still friends with many of my college friends. I think I'd kinda fit in with my HS friends group now, but some of them are a little too butterflies and rainbows for my personality.

@lulu1180 A temp spike is exciting! FX everything lines up and this is your cycle!
@LoveInDC I had to cut out dairy several years ago because of my migraines. There are a lot of great alternatives for milk, yogurt, ice cream - but none for cheese. I've kept a moderate amount of good cheese in my diet. It gets easier, and now I don't miss the everyday type cheese at all.
@Cricket648 GL with the call - FX they can get you in fairly quickly!
@gusgus14 Enjoy the game tonight! FX dinner is worth skipping your 2pm snack!
@mschanandlerbong1214 As the others mentioned, unless you were tracking in FF before you started trying, it can only go off the 'average woman' and predict O around day 14. Once you get even a couple of cycles in, it will start to predict based on your history, and it will become more accurate (if you're relatively regular) the more cycles it has to go on. As an example, my FF always predicts O around CD 21, which is typical for me.

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now? I had a solid core group of five of us, but we were kinda of floaters and all had other groups of friends as well. I don't know that I'd identify with any one group - I was in drama, but was also the student council president, but also volunteered at an environmental camp and hung out with some of the stoners. I'm not sure that I'd fit in with any of them now either TBH - my DH and I are a bit hippy and 'out there', and don't really fit into any group now either

@justkeepswimming8 Boo for YH working late
Thanks everyone for commiserating with me! To answer @starla's question, the basic logic is that milk comes from lactating animals. Lactation stems from pregnancy. And that's where all the hormones come from. So basically, if it's made from a hormonal animal, I need to stay away from it from now on. There go my dreams of a cheese house.
PS - I know I've officially watched Gilmore Girls too often because as soon as I said cheese house, I knew there was a quote about it. Apparently it's so obscure, you can only find it in episode transcripts:
LANE: I know.
RORY: It was going to be a house made of cheese.
LANE: We had much debate about that. It was down to chocolate, cheese, or Brillo pads.
RORY: Why Brillo pads?
LANE: I think they just made us laugh

@lund @starla As for goat v. cow v. organic, some may have less injected hormones than others, but when it comes down to it, an animal has to have elevated levels to lactate whether they're natural or induced. So, unfortunately, no dairy is good dairy and my life is over

CS/Q:
GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now? I was involved in both yearbook and student government so I spent most of my time with those groups I guess. At my school "cliques" were more activity based than anything. Of all of those people, I am only close with one of them to this day. The group I was friends with in student government specifically went on to go to the same schools, live in the same neighborhoods, and still all mostly hang out together to this day. Some even married one another. That wasn't really for me and I'm glad I went to a different college and got to branch out. Individually I don't see any reason why I wouldn't still be friends with any one of them but collectively I think that group remained a little too cliquey for me as an adult.
@starla Congratulations on the approval at work! And again, so happy you're about to get to move on to your TWW. FX!
@KariAnn323 I've definitely had temps that were randomly crazy low. So much so that the question "am I even alive?" popped into my head lol. I have no clue what causes them, though. Sorry that's not of much help but they usually bounced back to normal in a day or two.
@lulu1180 I hope your generous temp spike means good things!
@LoveInDC I've been down the same Google rabbit hole and was equally crushed about the dairy thing since it seems to be pretty linked to hormones. I still haven't completely given it up (I still buy organic skim milk and greek yogurt with my groceries) but I definitely am more mindful of how much of it I eat now. While it does play a role, a lot of other factors (like exercise and other diet components) do too and if you try to tackle it all at once, it's likely that you'll get overwhelmed so go easy on yourself. And your description of not being "in it" enough with social groups fits me perfectly! I always felt a little on the outs for similar reasons.
@Cricket648 My DH played rugby in college and the girls rugby team were some of my favorite people to hang with! I hope your RE doesn't make you wait too long for an appointment.
@Stargazer1lily My best friend and I love Survivor but it's hard to come by other fans! I think Debbie wasted her extra vote on Ozzy. It was a slick move but she's going to regret having done so when it comes time to save herself. I'm hoping Cirie wins this season. She's come too close one too many times and I feel for her.
@lund I'm sorry about the tough TTC day. I hope the drama helped take your mind off of it. We're here if you need to vent some more though.
@KariAnn323 i usually get a random temp drop the day before my positive OPK. Not sure if that's common or totally unrelated. But I'm no stranger to a one off low temp!
@lulu1180 yay temp spike! Cmooooooooon CHs!
@LoveInDC cheese????! Why couldn't it be like broccoli or something???! Boooooooo
@mschanandlerbong1214 hope you're doing a bit better today!
@beachbunnyxo123 good luck with O! Hopefully the calculations are on point!
@lund hope you're doing a bit better today. I mean the drama was still entertaining at least!
@justkeepswimming8 your gif is the exact thing I thought of regarding cheese
@Sailing_Mama ohhh the acupuncture sounds relaxing. Glad it went well! Tension headaches are no fun, hopefully you'll see a difference

WAYDTGKU: waiting for my CH right now. Should be tomorrow!
R/R: so I'm friends with our admin at work, but in turn I feel like she puts my requests on the back burner. I need to ask multiple times for a room or my phone calls for a request go ignored(like not even a "hey sorry I missed your call later in the day type callback. Just straight ignored). It's getting frustrating.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now?
i really didn't have a clique. I had a few friends I would hang out with in different groups but not one main type of friends.
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: Waiting for AF to leave ATM.
R/R: I scheduled my HSG for next Wednesday. Going for BW on Saturday, and need to drop off my Rx for progesterone so I have it when I'm ready. Last night I sanded our banister down to restain a nonhideous color! Will start with the first coat tonight!
CS/Q: nothing right now
GTKY: As with many of you, I kind of floated between groups. We had a core group of 4 friends, and I am still in close contact with two of them. I was also part of the not popular, not nerdy, good kids. Most of us were in choir or band and advanced classes together.

@lulu1180 yay for temp spike!
@LoveInDC noooo not cheese!! Hopefully you can find another way to lower it.
@AliW220 hope you feel better soon!
@lund sorry you had a rough day yesterday. Hope today is better!
Month/Cycle: 17/17

WAYDTGKU: NTNP
R/R: Yesterday was a really rough day for me. I had a mini breakdown so DH and I had a long talk about TTC. We decided that it has been too stressful lately so this cycle I'm going to stop temping/OPKs/taking supplements and just NTNP until we see the RE next month. Thank god I had frozen that chocolate cake a few weeks ago because it was much needed yesterday! And DH was super sweet-- he surprised me by bringing home flowers to cheer me up and took me and DD out to eat so that I didn't have to cook on CD1.
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now? I hung out with the music and theater kids (I was big into choir and musical theater) and also the honors kids which is where I met my two best friends that I am still besties with today. I stay in touch with the music/theater people on Facebook but I think we've mostly grown apart by now.

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now? I was a floater in a bunch of groups, lots of friends who were not necessarily friends with each other. I think I’d still be in the same groups because that’s how my friends are now. Still floating between different groups. I still have the same best friends though.

@KariAnn323, so exciting that your sister will be moving back!
@lulu1180, glad you got great timing!
@LoveInDC, NOT THE CHEESE! What symptoms are associated with high T again?
@Cricket648, sorry you have to go through the RE. Hope you just need things jump started and you'll be back to ovulating on your own soon.
@gusgus14, free dinners are also killing my healthy eating plans. Went to a seminar yesterday on obesity, and they had pizza to eat. *Facepalm*
@mschanandlerbong1214, I didn't get a chance to say it yesterday, but sorry to hear about your friend. Try not to beat yourself up about it. Hope she recovers.
@beachbunnyxo123, yay follies!
@aliw220, lol to the mouth breathing
@justkeepswimming8, that sucks that DH is working such long hours. That has to be exhausting.
@Sailing_Mama, that acupuncture sounds so relaxing right now. Jealous!

@starla congrats on the funding! that is so exciting
@KariAnn323 yay to your sister moving closer to home. I seem to have random low temps every cycle, like @lulu1180 said it is more about the overall
@LoveInDC for some reason initially read "cheese" as "Cheetos," but what a bummer. Cheese seems like a necessity of life.
@Cricket648 sorry to hear your appointment yesterday wasn't what you expected. I hope you didn't have too much stress about it during the day. FX your RE appointment will happen quickly.
@gusgus14 congratulations to you for sticking to your healthy habit.
@mschanandlerbong1214 I saw your post in the randoms. many hugs to you. the ladies there gave you some great feedback and I will add my voice to that chorus. You are not to blame, you are dealing with your own things. the fact that you are hurting so much over this shows how much you care.
@AliW220 I hope you feel better soon
@lund love that gif. I missed most of the drama yesterday, but I was able to catch up today. Sorry you had a rough TTC day, I hope today is better for you
@beachbunnyxo123 hoping this is your cycle. FX. I've lurked a bit, but is it that they want follies around 20mm? is not triggering a good thing, bad thing or somewhere in the middle? sorry if these questions are too much.
@Sailing_Mama acupuncture sounds amazing. Is cupping what all the swimmers were doing at the Olympics? do you have those circles all over you now?
@magnolia131 FX for you
@50Wife that work situation sounds so frustrating.
@kiki75 saw your post yesterday about trifexis, both of our dogs are on trifexis we just throw it in the dinner bowl and they gobble it down with dinner, but my aunt will wrap her dog's pills in cheese. We've also used the pill pockets as "treats" and then occasionally put the pills in them, so they're used to getting the pill pockets and it's not a trigger for something suspicious, like a nasty tasting pill.

R/R: I had a great happy hour w/my friend. She shared some of her TTC struggles. Possible***TW- she's AMA and got some news that she won't be able to conceive on her own. I was glad I was able to be there and support her. I was also able to connect her with a friend who has gone through adoption (she asked if I knew any one, she is looking at adoption as the way to start her family) end TW*** I was able to get "unfrozen" yesterday and get all of my work done yesterday. Looking forward to my conference, it always re-energizes me for work, but I'll miss all the updates around here. maybe i'll lurk some.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school? Would you still fit in that same group now? I don't know that I had a clique. I was a drama kid, but also had my small group of friends that were honors kids. I mainly spent my time with the older drama kids and as they graduated I stuck with my small circle. Now, I don't know that I would fit in with the drama group, but just with like minded people.

@shortstack930, sorry you're having a rough time. I think it sounds like a great decision to take a step back from doing all the things. Especially because you don't want to be already overwhelmed going into the RE appointment.
@supercoolstephy, I hear you on trying to eat better. It's a struggle.

@magnolia131 I think I'm going to be in the same boat as you when it comes to dairy. I can't imagine going completely dairy-free, but it's definitely going to come with some guilt from now on.
@50Wife Ugh, I hate when work friends think they can get away with blowing you off. Hopefully she gets her act together soon!
@shortstack930 Hugs for a hard TTC day
@icecubeinthedesert High T is the bane of my existence. Male pattern baldness, hirsutism, acne, anovulation, etc. It does up your sex drive though, so that kinda helps? lol
