@starla Congrats on your big peoject! And CH on the horizon? It's a good day :)

@KariAnn323 That's exciting that your sister is coming home! Mine lived in CA for 2 years and while I loved having the excuse to visit, nothing compared to having here home. I had some random low temps last cycle with no explanation. I just shrugged them off.

ETA: @lulu1180 Congrats on the temp spike! FX this is it :)

    Month/Cycle: 6/4

    CD: 8

WAYDTGKU: HIO EOD, PNV, BBT, CM

R/R: Dr. Google is at it again. I was researching high T and what could lower it naturally. And apparently a big contributor towards high T numbers is dairy :(:(:( Dude. Cheese is my life. I'm screwed. *insert all the gifs of the world ending*

    CS/Q:

GTKY: I was never a clique person. There were certain groups I hung out with more often than not (the theatre people, the social nerds) but I was never really part of the group. I would be left off of party invites, etc. Not because they didn't like me, but because I wasn't "in it" as much as everyone else. I sorta slipped out easily. Case and point, 2 groups of friends I had in high school still exist in my home town. They never left. They're dating the same people, hang out like they're still in high school. If I'm around, I could totally reach out and drop in. But I'm not in their group texts or invited on their vacations. So I guess, yeah I still fit in with them just as much as I did before, but that's not a lot to speak of in the first place.
  • Month/Cycle: 10/11

CD: 14. I should O today so I'll probably jump over to TWW tomorrow!

    WAYDTGKU: OPK, clomid

R/R: Rave: We're going to a baseball game tonight for a networking event and it includes free dinner! Rant: I've been trying to eat healthier and cut back on fast food and soda and just cut calories in general which means I've really come to appreciate my 2pm soda and popcorn snack (my only soda of the day now) but since I have no idea what the dinner is like tonight, I'm going to have to skip it today and that makes me sad.

    CS/Q:

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school?  Would you still fit in that same group now? Our class actually wasn't all that cliquey. Middle school for sure but in high school everybody kind of hung out with everybody. I guess if I had to call it, I'd say the Honors kids but really I had a diverse group of friends and even within the Honors kids a lot of us were also theater, band, show choir, and student atheletes. I could still fit in with them but I rarely talk to any of them anymore and we mostly keep up on Facebook.

    @starla - yay for funding!
@KariAnn323 - That's exciting! Sometimes I wish my family lived closer together but we're all spread out across the country.
@lulu1180 - Woo temp spike! I wish I kept track of my temp but my sleep cycles are so screwy that I never felt like they were accurate when I was attempting to track them.
@LoveInDC - Oh man cheese is like my life source!

CS/Q: So I'm in my "actual fertile days" now. Is that just FF guessing based on my temps? Pic hidden in spoiler because it's MASSIVE.

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school?  Would you still fit in that same group now?

I was a floater lol. I had friends in all the cliques but didn't really fit in any one specific clique.

@KariAnn323 I also get random low temps nothing to be concerned about. See how the next couple days go

@lulu1180 yay for good timing!!! Fx O happens soon!

@LoveInDC girl cheese is life. My friend got me a shirt that says "haters they gonna hate, graters they gonna grate". Of course I'm too embarrassed to wear it but it makes me laugh. My mom posted a link on my fb once about a truck from Idaho missing that was loaded with cheese...yeah my family blows up my spot about it

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school?  Would you still fit in that same group now?
I tried not to get stuck in one group and was pretty social with everyone. I did cheerleading and softball but also was a leader for a retreat groups and tried to be nice to everyone. I got bullied as a freshman because the senior guys would talk to me and the girls didn't like that even though I didn't date or hang with them. I wound up being prom queen my senior year which was a huge surprise and cool because I wasn't just in "one group" and felt connected with a lot of people in my class

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school?  Would you still fit in that same group now?
I hung out with the not so cool kids/not losers. I didn`t know anyone when I went to high school so I just hung out with who ever was nice to me or included me in group projects. I was super shy so socializing was hard.
  • @starla yay for funding! That's super exciting!
@KariAnn323 that's awesome about your sister! My siblings and I are all spread out. I'm 5 hours from where we grew up and I'm the closest. My sister is in WY and being in NY it's tough being so far away.
    @lulu1180 yay temp spike!! Fx!!!
@LoveInDC oh man. I couldn't live without dairy!! Not just cheese but my half & half in my coffee too! Ugh!

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school?  Would you still fit in that same group now?
Me and my closest friends have known each other since first grade (tiny private school). In high school, we were this like strange inbetween group. Very smart but not typical nerd. Not popular, but could get along with anyone. We loved fashion, art, girly things, but also aced our STEM classes. These girls are STILL my rocks, life has gotten busy tho, for all of us. This is a good reminder that I need to reconnect with them (face to face!) soon.

  • @lulu1180 Thanks for the CS. I actually thought O was on CD40 as well and I posted it in the FF forums. Is it possible to have a slow temp rise and could that mean a hormonal issue? Hurray for temp spike!
@KariAnn323 Does your temp usually dip before O?
@LoveInDC No! Not cheese!!!! :( What about goat cheese and other on-bovine cheese (don't know the proper term)?
@Cricket648 Boo for long day. I hope you can get in to the RE quickly.
@gusgus14 FX for O! Free food is the best. I'm not a student any more, but I still love free food! Have a good time at the event!
@beachbunnyxo123 Yay for great follies! I'm glad that I've made people laugh and smile. :)
@mschanandlerbong1214  Hmmm how much data/cycles have you entered in FF? At first it assumes that you have a 28 day cycle with O on CD14. As you enter more info, it forecasts O and AF dates more accurately. If you're irregular then the window will be longer for each.
@AliW220 Thanks! I hope you feel better soon!

  • @mschanandlerbong1214 If you either got a +OPK or put in either watery or EWCM then FF will tell you that you are at your most fertile.  However, the best way to confirm that you actually did O is to temp and see that sustained temp rise.  After a couple cycles FF will then be able to predict and tell you ahead of time when they think your FW might be based on your history.  However, that won't necessarily help much if your cycles are irregular.

WAYDTGKU: PNVs, watching CM, and abbreviated BBT. In a few days I'll start POAS 2x/day. Oh and nagging DH to take his supplements.

R/R: Ooooh not much. Yesterday was a bit of a tough TTC day for me, so I only participated in the drama  :D

CS/Q: I know that this totally isn't true (obvs because I'm not KU), but I always want to post this when I see this question:

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school?  Would you still fit in that same group now?
From 8th to 9th grade I went from a tiny Christian school to a giant public high school. It took a while to find a group that I felt remotely accepted in, but I never felt like they were "my people." By junior/senior years I was finally comfortable with my place in the high school hierarchy - I was just kinda friendly with everyone, and stayed out of drama, but didn't really feel like I entirely "fit" anywhere. But, I did have one or two really close friends. When I went to college I felt like I finally found my stride and my people. I'm still friends with many of my college friends. I think I'd kinda fit in with my HS friends group now, but some of them are a little too butterflies and rainbows for my personality.
  • @starla I generally do not have a dip before O. And I usually don't O until CD 19ish. I of course peed before I remembered that I wanted to take an opk this morning so I'll have to wait until after work.

  • @Sailing_Mama I can't imagine a life where I don't have cheese all the time :( I'm Italian, so gourmet cheese platters are the stuff of dreams for me. Why are all the delicious things so bad for you?! I'm glad you had a great acupuncture appointment though!

@lund @starla As for goat v. cow v. organic, some may have less injected hormones than others, but when it comes down to it, an animal has to have elevated levels to lactate whether they're natural or induced. So, unfortunately, no dairy is good dairy and my life is over :(:(:(

GTKY: What group/clique did you best fit in with in high school?  Would you still fit in that same group now? I was a floater in a bunch of groups, lots of friends who were not necessarily friends with each other. I think I’d still be in the same groups because that’s how my friends are now. Still floating between different groups. I still have the same best friends though.

  • @EmilyLove25 Thanks for the reassurance! I know I can live a life without cheese, but cheese is delicious so that makes me sad. I mainly eat it on its own while snacking or in terribly fattening meals that I'm cutting out anyway. It's more a mental adjustment than anything. If you have tips for getting calcium outside of dairy and soy though, my ears are all open!

@magnolia131 I think I'm going to be in the same boat as you when it comes to dairy. I can't imagine going completely dairy-free, but it's definitely going to come with some guilt from now on.

@50Wife Ugh, I hate when work friends think they can get away with blowing you off. Hopefully she gets her act together soon!
