Try coconut water with pineapple! I hate coconut and so coconut water is not my favourite, but with the pineapple in it as well I find it delicious! I think I should pick some up too so I can get enough hydration.
@ShePersisted@megankth I'm a TTM and I am definitely showing! The only person who knows so far is my sister so it's hard hiding it. Hardly any of my clothes fit.
@ShePersisted I'm showing FOR SURE. Im 11 weeks and a stranger on the street said "congrats preggo!" To me today. Also my uncle asked me why I was walking funny.. and I'm like my back is killing me. And he was like just surprised that I'm waddling so early. I am NOT waddling, I'm just walking cautiously.
@bcashaw I'm already noticing a change in how I walk because my hips and lower back are constantly sore. I'm picking up a pillow today to prop behind my thighs when I sleep on my back or in between when on my side.
@megankth have they analyzed the stones to see what they are made of? I know for some they find out and attempt to lessen that in the diet or give a vitamin that helps absorb or break it down.
Real sorry of TMI, but honestly on a pregnancy thread is there such a thing? Is anyone else losing parts of their mucus plug? When I had my ultrasound the tech said my cervix was long, firm and closed, right bow it's short, soft and open. Idk how to feel about this. My next appointment isn't for 2 weeks. I'm tempted to try the Doppler at work that we check pulses with, I don't even know if that will work for a fetal heart beat.
I'm still down several pounds and also stuck with an almost permanent bloat. In the morning it's still not too noticeable, but I have to dress in discretionary mode now for the afternoon situation.
I had things i really should've taken care of while DS was at school, but it just did not happen. I took the dog to the dog park for some desperately needed exercise that I've been too tired to get her. And then I napped. Because still super tired.
Also, it's officially uncomfortable to lay on my back. Makes my back and hips hurt.
@ShePersisted I haven't gained any weight but I look 6m pregnant already. Everyone keeps telling me it's normal for a STM but it's nuts. I've got a crazy picture from Saturday I'll have to share tomorrow. It's not bloat because it never goes away, I've been in maternity clothes since 8weeks.
@ShePersisted my blump got serious last week. Here I am also 10w and --idk-- is it like muscle memory?!?! I know my uterus is still low right now and yet my blump is riding high like I'm in my early 20 weeks... I even bought maternity jeans but haven't busted them out yet. This is going to be hard to hide for 3 more weeks.
@megankth I've had stones twice, I just want to offer my sympathy!! I had to ride mine out with OTC meds but I'm sorry there's not a lot you can take first tri!
@MaximumEffort that does not sound right. I would call the dr first thing. I may be wrong but the cervix should not be open this early. I think if need be they could do an early intervention but I think this is definitely worth checking on sooner rather than waiting 2 weeks.
@MaximumEffort Definitely have it checked. TW A woman my husband works with had to have a cerclage to keep her cervix closed in order to have a healthy pregnancy. She had a loss before due to an incompetent cervix. /TW
@ShePersisted I got called out at work yesterday. I was so uncomfortable when I got home that I couldn't even feel good laying down. I'm starting to feel my uterus slowly coming up and it's not fun since I already have GI issues. My ribs are not happy that my intestines are moving up.
@MaximumEffort I did read that it will keep regenerating and that it's normal, but *TW* I believe I started losing mine when I started losing my symptoms before the MC. It was pink tinged and I started bleeding two days later. */TW* Not saying that's the case with you, but call your doc to see what they say.
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 my symptoms seem to be going away, at least the abdominal pain and fullness. Still have exhaustion and breast pain. I feel so silly calling the midwife when I'm 10 weeks.
@MaximumEffort I agree with the others, you should call. I don't have any experience in that regard but it does not sound normal. I don't think it's silly to call your doctor/midwife at any point in pregnancy; they're there to care for you.
Nov 17 BMB May Siggy Challenge: Mother's Day Fails
@MaximumEffort there is a special end for fetal heart tones, but the smaller ones can work, it's just harder to find.
@ShePersisted I'm definitely starting to show (STM). And the chart with the uterus size per week makes me laugh this time around. I'm 10w5d and I can only find the heartbeat one inch about my section scar, which is about two inches above my pubic bone.
Diclegis worked great for about a week but now I'm back to crippling nausea and vomiting. Doc told me to take an additional pill in the mornings now so we will see how it goes!
@matika88 there are some days when I have to take a mid-morning Diclegis as well. I had to do it today because I was eating and had to literally force each bite down while trying not to gag!
@Roliepoliecoley4 I think our doppler are different, I have one with a stethoscope attachment for listening but no different side for fetal tones, my other is a pencil doppler. I work on an intermediate med/surg so no need for fetal Doppler.
So I went in for blood work today and asked the nurse to let me hear the HB on the Doppler and she said it's too soon. Boo! Hate that they are so 'proper'

Hope all is okay!! I haven't heard of mucus plug going anywhere until the end and it's a mucus like you've never seen coming out.
@MaximumEffort I don't think you should worry about those coming and going. Like @lancomechica2, mine has come back with a vengeance. I hate my intestines right now.

I'm a STM who's showing. It's crazy to me and I hope I don't "grow" too much within the next few weeks. Otherwise, I'll be huge! I'm hoping it's still bloat although it's gotten to where it's even there in the mornings. I can't hide it anymore.
I started spotting as I was leaving work this morning. No cramping, though. It's light, and switched from pink to brown, so I'm really hoping it's nothing. I know it can be super common, but I'm just a bundle of nerves after precious loss. Reminding myself we saw a happy, healthy heartbeat a week ago. Taking it super easy today. I could use some sticky baby mojo, though!

@lancomechica, I don't think I've seen this. It's gelatinous, large and globbed. I never got a chance to call today. I'm the worst patient. I'll call tomorrow. Already decided I can't do another day in a row with this clunking back.
@Roliepoliecoley4 I will add that the doppler i was able to use i was able to hear something move past and a swish that wasn't my pulse every now and then, it gave some comfort since it was a tough day at work. I'll call my midwife tomorrow morning, I know she's in. No spotting right now.
@irishfrisky thinking sticky baby thought for you. Brown is a better sign. Take care of yourself.
I didn't have access to a fetal Doppler for my first pregnancy, but a regular Doppler to check pulses worked when I was farther along @MaximumEffort. Let us know how you're doing

Also yes I 100% feel worse at work. Sitting upright for me and having to think is brutal compared to laying down and watching a movie.

@lancomechica2 I have had that a few times. Just have to lie on my bed and groan and hopefully sleep. Feel better!
