Hey girl, hey! Who is around? Whatchya up to? I know we'll probably be extra slow because of Easter- do you have any fun Easter plans? Even if you're just around for a minute, stop and say hi!
Nothing planned for today! Tomorrow I'm going to sunrise service on the beach and our church is having a butterfly release. Then I think we're having lunch at my cousin's. Pretty sure I'll end up napping after all that! Happy Easter everyone!!
Hanging out at home. Did a load of laundry, walked to the mailbox (across the apartment community), looked over the 'bed in a bag' my step mom bought us (OFF registry... again:P)
Driving to Maine for Easter tomorrow with the in-laws. There will be Baby-Que talk, I'm excited.
I got a jury summons in the mail today, for JULY 31st!! I'll be 34 weeks pregnant. So 34 weeks full of NOPE.
My best friend and I are checking out a maternity store finally on Monday.
Haaaaaaaay guuurl! Wish I could gif. We don't have any plans currently, possibly DH's grandparents may invite us to dinner or something but I'm not planning on it. He's working this weekend. Been having fun dealing with the sheriff because animal control apparently isn't open on weekends and my neighbors dog keeps getting out and coming over to my fence to antagonize my dog. Also he gets agitated and scared when he's out and dogs are unpredictable when they get like that. They're not even trying to keep that dog in, this is like the fifth or sixth time in the last couple weeks I've caught him at our fence. I don't wanna play anymore.
Edited to add, normally I'm a dog person. But at five months pregnant and with my one year old now, I don't mess with that. He's not a small dog, he's a really pretty brindle pit bull, but he's not very friendly to me. So I don't want to play. He's scared of cars and running around our culdesac makes him more and more agitated. I can tell by his ears and tail.
Hi! Bored and tired waiting in the car with the pup while DH and DS browse GameStop. Went to the park first but didn't walk for very long since someone's back started hurting (DH). But we did see some horses and a gecko. And they're back.
@jena333-2 I wouldn't want to do jury duty that late in the pregnancy, but otherwise I really enjoyed it lol! I was picked for the trial and I found it really interesting.
I'm around today, but will probably be MIA tomorrow. Today is pretty lazy- I'm mostly reading, doing laundry, and watching some Property Brothers on and off while I fold said laundry. I need to go to the store, but haven't successfully talked myself into it yet. We can see this weekend's Red Bull Air Race from our balcony, so DH is pretty glued to that. It is really cool- we can't see some of the lower stuff, but we can see part of it, and all the big, high air loops.
Tomorrow we're going to church, making our own brunch at home, and just taking it easy, and enjoying our last holiday just the two of us. We'll probably play some board games, and take a nap. It's going to be great.
Hi everyone! Had to take a zofran today, it started out pretty rough, but better now so I can do a few things! I have to run to the grocery store to get Easter dinner stuff. Luckily my mom and dad are helping me since I can't seem to get my crap together lately and do everything I need to do. But DH will be home for Easter tomorrow, which is awesome! Holidays definitely aren't always a guarantee, but we are lucky this time. And my sweet DH... he tries to clean the kitchen. But that always means that he does the dishes and anything else on the counter just gets pushed to the back. I don't want to point out that he's doing something wrong when he's really trying to help, so I'm gonna have to clean off all the counters today. I hate clutter SO that's about it for me. Nothing too exciting, but somewhat productive at the least! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
@wyomama0427 no way.. I don't blame you. I love dogs too but this really isn't something you should have to deal with. Your neighbors need to take responsibility for the dog. It's not fair to you, your dog or even their dog. I hate it when people are irresponsible with their pets!
I'm having a pretty lazy day today. Folded some laundry, went to the grocery store. I've been watching property brothers while DD is napping. Tomorrow we are joining my BIL's parents for lunch after going to mass. Nothing super big or exciting but I'm not hosting so that alone is exciting!!!
Today I'm working (womp womp) but tomorrow we are taking DS to the zoo! His first time! We are going with my parents and I am so excited! But I'm also mad because all weekend the zoo here has done a "hug a bunny" event where the kids can touch a bunny, get bunny pic made, face paint, bounce house etc but they aren't doing it on Sunday? Like you're not doing the Easter activities on Easter?? I wanted my kid to hold a bunny so bad! Grrr!
Hey everybody!! I took my mom and DS to pick strawberries yesterday and today we went to an Easter Egg Roll. He got in a jump castle for the first time and they had a little petting zoo and fun stuff for littles. were about to practice putting up this new beach canopy we got, an Otentik. Anybody ever tried one? I say practice because we want to see how it works before we get to the beach and everybody laughs at us. Hope everybody is having a nice weekend!
@Jamiern01 I'm watching Property Brothers too- the marathon on HGTV? I like them better than some of the other house flipping shows. The Flip or Flop couple drives me nuts! He's so monotone, and she doesn't do anything...and doesn't come across very intelligent. Which isn't very charitable of me, but bothers me anyway.
Today we already took my ds to basketball practice, got groceries for tomorrow, picked out flowers, went to lunch and did yard work. Now I am laying on the couch thinking about spending the rest of the day watching 13 reasons why. Tomorrow is family and food day. I am so excited about all the pies lol.

Those things are awesome! And also heavy but make sure you really dig a deep hole for the legs to go in because once my parents got taken in the wind and hit some guy like 10 feet away and he was bleeding! Other than that just have a second person to help assemble and disassemble it because they are a PITA to get up and put down but are awesome the rest of the day!
I'm in and out this weekend. Pretty much just being lazy. My girls watched Cinderella while DH and I read books. I should probably vacuum and do some laundry... most likely won't. We have plans to have a friends Easter dinner tomorrow but one couple texted this morning saying they both have fever, so we may not get together afterall. I'm making potato salad either way.

@mrs_tacos I love property brothers!! Flip or flop was never my favorite. I think I heard that it is being canceled since the divorce. It will not hurt my feelings when it's no longer on.

I've heard they have to keep filming even through the divorce because they have a contract with HGTV and they were going to get sued if they didn't keep filming through it. But yeah magically every time the camera is on her she has a duck face. She gets on my nerves but I do like the houses they do (some, not all - that multi colored hexagon shower tile was nasty!)

I know the exact tile you are talking about! As she was picking it, I was yelling at the tv, "What are you doing?! That's a terrible choice!" I maaaay get a little too into these shows sometimes. But yes, I also heard they had to keep filming because of their contract, which had to be awkward for their filming crew.
@lap018 yeeesssssss. She does have a duck face all the time. They both annoy me to no end. Once DH asked me if I thought she was pretty. I couldn't really give an answer because she always looks so fake. He said he couldn't figure out if she was or not. Maybe it's the duck face we can't see past. Haha!
@mrs_tacos hahahahahahaha I know I was dying!! I'm like you take anything that looks 70s out of the house and then install that nastiness???? Barf. It'd be the first thing I replaced if I moved into that house!
@beccam1230 I don't know what it is about her I just don't like, she's very orange and claims she's coming from the gym (with fake eye lashes on? Honey you're not doing it right) or the duck face or that stupid blue jeans and diamonds shirt she always wears. I just can't put my finger on it
We've been (mostly window) shopping all day. I don't think we have plans tonight. Tomorrow I'm hosting lunch for MIL and FIL then we will probably go to the extended family for dinner.

Thanks!! Yikes! That's one of the reasons we decided not to get an umbrella, I've seen so many of those just blowing down the beach with their poles threatening to knock people out. So we just tried it in the yard and I can see where digging a deep hole for the poles will be important, these things are not meant for the yard! Thanks for the tips!
@lap018 Hahaha yes.. all of the above! But you said it, it's just something I can't usually put my finger on. I think I watch that show so I can hate on her. Sadly a pretty decent source of entertainment
Today has been a great day! We went to a little beach for about an hour then went to a spring/water park after that! Tomorrow we will be spending some time with SO's family for Easter. I also found an awesome maternity bathing suit at motherhood maternity. It's a cute pink and black tankini that doesn't make me feel self conscious. It was a total win!
I took my 20 week bump pic today, well DH did. I was unsure of the outfit after DH showed me the pic, so I changed and he took another one. Now I don't know which one I like more
I just spent the last 30 minutes stalking my original BMB and found myself! At least now I know what my old username was. Still can't access it because the e-mail attached to it has been shut down. Oh well. It's still fun to see how naive and odd I was years ago.

I'm spending my day trying to not bite people's heads off. I'm SOO f'ing cranky today.
That's been me all week. Currently hanging out at the hangar while DH does a couple things (exactly what i don't really know/too hard to kind of explain) but should be done in 30 min *fingers crossed*. But before this we were at the National Cemetery on base. Next week is the 10 year anniversary of a Blue Angel pilot's crash and death, so we went to pay our respects, he is laid to rest here.
Tomorrow we will be going to church and then to a friend's for Easter lunch. Then idk.
Dealing with a sick little one and hubby on our last pre deployment weekend...so much fun. I've got so much to get done before we leave in less than 2 days. Hoping it will all fall into place. We're supposed to participate in a cul de sac Easter egg hunt and cook out this afternoon, but will see how the hubby and DS2 are doing. Had a massive nosebleed this morning (thank you dry weather, allergies, & blood thinners), so I get to clean our comforter and sheets for the second time this weekend...
Well the inlaws are in town for the weekend. It's the first time we've seen family since we announced we are pregnant. My favorite comment so far has been "well you don't even look pregnant". Thanks, I mean what do you expect me to say back that, sorry I'm only 16 weeks!?! And the endless stories of what to expect. I mean, I know they're excited but sheesh I don't need to hear how horrible they think everything is going to be
No plans here. The in laws are driving me insane. I honestly cannot wait for MIL and FIL to move to Europe the end of June.
MIL had the audacity to complain to me how horrible it was of me to plan this baby for when they won't be around to see it since they plan to stay overseas permanently. We only spent 5 years and 11 months TTC lady. Ugh...
We've done so many Easter egg hunts in the last few days. We have a 4 day weekend here so it's split between my ex and I, which means I've had to cram in 4 days worth of holiday into 2 with DS. I feel like this baby is sitting soo low and gravity is not my friend and when walking any length of time I start to get that waddle and oh my poor hips! Not moving for the rest of the night.
Just finished Jane the Virgin on Netflix and looking for something new lighthearted and funny, any suggestions?
Hi! We've finally had some nice weather so we've been outside for the last 2 days with DS ( Friday was a stat day for us). My pasty white skin is SO burnt. Tomorrow is my birthday, Hubs asked me what I wanted to do- since patio beers is out I said eat steak and go to DQ for a pecan mudslide. Throw in some pickles and I am a classic pregnant lady.
@JNR6510 Isn't it cute when people think you can just "plan" when you finally get pregnant? And furthermore assume you should do so around their timeline? I'm sorry she's being crappy about this, especially since it's a baby (I'm assuming) she'll love a lot!
My whole family has been in town for the better part of three weeks now for DD's birthday. And while we enjoy having family, I will be happy when my house is empty again. Tomorrow is Easter stuff with my parents and DH's family. It's DD's first Easter (she was born a few days before Easter last year) and I can't want to put her in the adorable dress I got her.
I was busy at work today, but got out of there a little earlier than usual. I took tomorrow off for Easter service, brunch with my family and an Easter egg hunt(pending the weather).
Sounds like most of you are having a good day. Sorry to those struggling with ms and difficult inlaws.
