I have my first appointment tomorrow and I can't wait. My OBGYN will take me back for an ultrasound with his office's machine. It's not a great picture, but I'll get to finally see the heartbeat
First regular OB appointment tomorrow! They said they will listen for a heartbeat, so excited to get one more confirmation before we tell everyone in a week.

Surprise! Unexpected BFP 2/22/17 just when we were about to start fertility treatment!
I just can't wait for my appt on Wednesday. I have so many questions on back to back pregnancies. I just want to get the reassurance everything is going well. Counting the hours. Yey! To all the mommas that have an appointment this week.
I have a dating ultrasound tomorrow afternoon. I am equally excited and anxious. Just hoping all is well and on track for a healthy pregnancy. No reason to think otherwise than PGAL brain at this point. Nausea is creeping in during the day now, so hoping that is a good sign.
ETA I just realized tomorrow night I should be able to post in the ultrasound thread for the first time. So excited! It's the small things
Have an appt tomorrow afternoon and will hopefully get to do ultrasound and see the baby and see if my SCH has gotten bigger. Super nervous and anxious to get through the night and tom morning. Wishing the rest of y'all good appts this week!
Oh I just did a happy dance because I can finally participate in this thread!! First MW appointment on Thursday at 11w2d so I feel like I've waited for-ev-er. No u/s but we'll be able to (hopefully) hear the heartbeat. Crossing my fingers I don't have an anterior placenta again to muffle things. Lots of blood work I'm sure, but trying to focus on that heartbeat and not the needle lol
I have appts every 2 weeks because I'm high risk, so my next one is tomorrow! Because I'll be 10 weeks on Wednesday I think we might be doing the blood draw for our genetic testing, which would mean we might know the sex of the baby by Friday!

Finally able to post here! I had my first appt today, measuring 10wks 3 days and saw a heart rate of 172. Everything is looking good and I will post my U/S pics on the thread!!! So exciting!
Just had an appointment today! I am still always nervous going in but we saw a bouncing waving little baby with a HR of 171!!! I am 9w3d but I think the ultrasound said 9w5d we'll see where I end up!
I had an appointment today with a new practice. If you guys remember, I had an appt on Friday and didn't have a good experience. So when I got home that night, I decided to make an appt with a different practice and am so pleased that I did!! I felt so comfortable and the nurses and doctors were very thorough. I can't continue with my previous doctors/hospital because of insurance changes, but I think that I've had a good fit. And they squeezed me in for a dating ultrasound tomorrow morning! It's a longer drive, but I think it will be worth it.
So I got my blood results back from my blood draw earlier this week via online reports tonight. I plan to follow up with my doctor soon, but curious what others know about Vitamin D.
It says the following:
Vitamin D, 25-Hydroxy 18.6
When I google normal levels, it says 30-74 ng/mL. What I can't tell is the unit of measurement. I am just wondering if I should be worried at all.
ETA: Ugh, maybe I shouldn't look at test results online not understanding it...I also saw that my levels are not in the "normal range" for the following:
I get to post here! My first appointment is tomorrow 7w3d. It's just a preliminary US to make sure everything is going well because of my previous loss. Can't wait to see my little blueberry!
@dragonfly87 I would suggest calling your doctors office to find out if you should be taking a vitamin-D supplement. That way they can tell you if it's needed or not and what dose you should be taking. My vitamin-D level is always low through winter and spring (lack of sunshine). But my doctor prescribed a vitamin-d supplement for me to take this pregnancy. Here's a link with some info about the blood test you had done, but I definitely still recommend calling them to have them give you any real medical advice. https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/003569.htm
I had my 10 week apt today (Korean drs have you go every 2 weeks). U/s was great. Saw all limbs, spine, and heart beat. My Vitamin D was low for pregnancy levels despite me having taken a prenatal for months before the BFP so my Dr gave me an extra vit. D supplement. They're drops which is kind of weird but okay. Next visit (12 weeks) I have my first of 2 blood draws for testing for Down Syndrome and such. Not sure what the actual test is since I don't think they do Harmony or anything like that here. They didn't even ask if I wanted it, just told me I'd have the blood draw at 12 and 14 weeks. I'm not too worried but DH has this fear of having a child with special needs. Nothing runs in either family though and I'm not AMA so that doesn't increase any risks.
@dragonfly87 - We take vitamin D supplements year-round in our house. Unless you work outside all day, every day and eat a very D-rich diet, chances are that you're not in the "normal" range. I would call the doctor and see if they want you on something, but I wouldn't be too worried right now. It's pretty common to be D deficient.
The other two you mentioned, I think, can vary with sickness/infection and show your immune response. Since your immune system is depressed during pregnancy, maybe that's the reason for the "off" numbers?
@dragonfly87 definitely call your doc if you are worried and ask if your bloodwork was ok. It is impossible to try and interpret it yourself--I've tried that before too! The "acceptable" levels for some things change during pregnancy, so you might ask if the range they have listed is for pregnant or non-pregnant. I know my doc says no news from them is good news, So I bet since your doc hasn't called you with any concerns you are fine.
Dating ultrasound this afternoon... baby #3 for me, but still anxious. My nervousness switches back and forth between having a loss and being told it's twins. Fun pregnancy hormones.
I got in touch with my doctor and she said my Vitamin D levels were pretty low and recommended supplementing with 2,000 IU daily. She lymph/Neutrophils were a bit out of the normal range and wanted to monitor on the next blood draw since it could be because of pregnancy, but isn't sure.
glad all is well, @dragonfly87 . Vit D is low for a lot of people, my RE put me on 5,000iu daily when I started fertility treatments because my levels were pretty low.
I had an appt today, and the baby was wiggling around like crazy on the ultrasound. My fiance cannot stop beaming

Had our first appointment today at 11 weeks, blood draw, alllll the paperwork, and Doppler so we got to hear the heartbeat. No u/s for another 3 weeks (bummer) but glad everything looks great so far!
Blood work wiped me out, I went home and took a long nap with DS before work. I fully expect to hear I'm vitamin D deficient and anemic but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
Had genetic counseling appt today. We decided to do the cell free screen and then decide from there of we want to do CVS. We scheduled the CVS bc they get booked up fast and you only have a short time frame to do it. We might cancel it though. We interestingly found out that because we are both part French Canadian we could potentially be carriers for Tay Sachs. Apparently a small population of French Canadians are affected. So we are getting tested for that too. Not going to lie, the whole experience was super overwhelming. I almost cried as she explained all the potential issues. The genetic counselor was amazing but it's a lot to process. For some reason the blood draw wiped me out too.
