It seems a lot of new or previously inactive people are popping up! So, if you're a not-so-active member and want to change that without facing the "and you are??" responses, here's your chance! Intro (or re-intro) here. We want a chance to get to know you!
Re: Calling all lurkers!
For those who I fall into the lurker category for, I'm Angela and I'm due with boy #2 September 19th.
I really like cats, laughing at inappropriate things and
being a Mom. I definitely have a large nerdy streak, despite being a Makeup Artist and being labeled as a definite "girly girl" my whole life. Reading, writing and playing music are other faves.
As far as relevant baby related things go, I am PGAL and still definitely dealing with pregnancy anxiety and other PGAL related fears/issues. I passed my loss milestone almost two months ago, but it still gets the best of me sometimes.
I'm sorry I don't post more, between working full time and the toddler spawn, I usually just spend a few minutes a day catching up with everything you ladies post and occasionally chiming in, but I've been around since the BFP. Also I don't know if I'm seriously technology challenged or what but I can never make the copy and paste questions work on mobile for the check in threads on mobile.
Anyways, nice to formally meet you all!
My name is Cyndie ...I am 35 years old ... this is my second pregnancy, the first was in my early 20's and ended in an early loss .. then I went through many many many years of infertility (years in which time I was married and divorced from my first husband and then remarried to my current DH) .....
DH & I threw in the towel when we were told the only option we had was IVF and we were getting ready to start the process to become foster parents when I got my very unexpected BFP ... we still may become foster parents but we're going to wait at least a couple years on that now
I'm due 09/06 with a Boy and couldn't be more excited ...

As for this pregnancy, everything has been a total 180 from the first pregnancy. I am still morning sick despite being in 2nd trimester. I am always dizzy and migraines are abundant. Things could be worse though! I do hope to be more active, though I am not sure how to work all the app technology.
Nice to officially meet everyone

I'm PGAL. I have had two losses before this pregnancy. One in October '16 and one in December '16. I've literally been pregnant back-to-back. So blessed to have made it this far and starting to finally enjoy my pregnancy.
Welcome to all of you! We are glad to have you here and would love for you to participate, even if it is late to a conversation. We'd love to get to know all of you and join us on our incredible journey!
I have posted a few times but I'm trying to be more active with this pregnancy than the last. My name is Keara, I am 27 and a STM. We have one DD (Adi short for Adelaide) born June 2016 and I'm still active with that board also. We have four dogs, a cat, and a snake. I love to craft. I am super nervous and excited to have two under two. I'm a pretty crunchy person I guess; we make a lot of cleaning supplies and we cloth diaper, among other things. We are currently living with four generations under a roof. GG has dementia so we are working together to keep her out of a nursing home. It makes life interesting, and never lonely. I do love the amount of time Adi gets to spend with her GG. They have so much fun together. I love being a mama and even though I am sure there will be challenging days ahead, I am looking forward to learning who this nugget is. Oh, and we will be team Green this time too. It was so fun last time to have everyone guessing up until the very end!
Looking forward to knowing you ladies over the next half of pregnancy and beyond. I can't believe we are all so far along already. Seems like it's been flying by so fast!!
edited because bump ate my post
I am 26, a Seattle native but living in Maryland & work in the wedding industry. I experienced a loss a few years ago, which lead to the discovery of ovarian cancer. I finished treatment last year and magically am pregnant. The Father and I are working through our relationship but it has been a big challenge often because of his families opinions. He wanted to rush marriage and I wanted to take some time - now that things are getting better roles have started to reverse... Doctors were advising an abortion, and I have already had some issues with preterm labor. This little babe is hanging in there and still seems to be healthy at 19 weeks even as my health continues to unravel.
I struggle with anxiety, and this pregnancy has only made it worse. Between the rollercoaster that is pregnancy, everything that happened last year, being single, and the judgement that has followed being apart of a Christian community, I often have a hard time feeling like I belong anywhere let alone on a board like this with so many amazing women. I really enjoy reading everyone's posts even on days that I am scared to click the love it button or reread a reply twenty times only to decide to maybe post it later and then not. So irrational.
Anyway, for the times I have posted or just followed along I have not felt so alone and quite supported, which has been a fleeting feeling lately. So thanks lovely ladies of September BMB - I will try to be more brave and engage more.
We know you & love you! Comment, post, vent, rant whenever you feel comfortable! It is hard to stay positive when you feel alone or isolated.
I'm 27 and pregnant with my third. We have two daughters--3 yrs and 1.5 yrs and we find out what this one is next week! Eeeeek! I was born and raised in Eastern Canada, married a North Carolina boy, and we now live in Oklahoma so I toooootally get what it's like to raise kiddos away from family support. I love being able to add my two cents to any applicable threads I come across and am always up for answering questions about having two under two (my DDs are 19 months apart). I love reading about what's going on with everyone when I can and hope to keep getting to know y'all a little more!
Side note.. do you get notifications when someone replies or quotes you? I always mobile so I know it may be different than the desktop bump..
June Siggy Challenge: Workout
@Souptin, heyyyy! I also used to live in the downtown core but now moved a bit east (Riverdale) of the core once DS was born. But i still work right downtown. And I also miss all the great restos and I still live here, lol. Now my idea of fine dining is "do they have a highchair?".
I'm Chalsey, 27 years old, DH is 29 and we are from Florida. We have been together 12 years and married 6.5. I'm a STM due Sept 17, DS will be 2 in July and we are having a girl this time! I work full time as a Physician Assistant so I try to chime in on lunch or after work/weekends.
ETA additional info and due date.
Anyway... I'm 31, DH is 31, we live in NJ and have been married for 4 years next month. We've been together for a total of 10 years in June. We have 3 cats and a pit bull who thinks she's a cat a lot of the time. I'm a FTM so every aspect of this experience is brand new to DH and me. EDD is September 13th and I would LOVE for that to be this Tumalien's actual day of birth because the scary movie fanatic in me would get a kick out of the Friday the 13th birthdays that would occur every now and then. I'm a shameless crazy cat lady that loves to read (although I haven't done much of that this year), travel, watch TV and go to the movies, and I freakin love food.
I just want to throw this super cheesy bit out there... I haven't been posting here for all that long but I already feel super welcome. I mentioned in my intro that I had been posting on a different site since I found out I was pregnant back in early January but it just never really felt right over there. So, thank you for making a girl feel welcome right off the bat
