R/R: My friend texted me at 6am and woke me up. There is an hour time difference so she probably thought I was up and forgot I'm an hour behind her. So I took my temp 30 min early and it was wayy lower then my average temps this cycle. I was somewhat expecting another temp spike today so I hope this doesn't throw things off too much. I'm like 90% sure I was having O pain last night so my temp should be going up very soon.
CS/Q: Does anyone else notice O pain? How does it normally correlate with your temperature? Do you see the spike that day or the next day?
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? Hmm probably just going campung with my family. Camping was how my family vacationed.
CD: 9
WAYDTGKU: Things and stuff and things. HSG tomorrow unless my OPK turns positive today or tomorrow (and it easily might)
R/R: Its Tuesday which means my longest day at work buuuuuut tomorrow is my day off, so yay! Also my HSG is scheduled for tomorrow and as long as I dont have to cancel, I am excited to get more testing done.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory?
Oy, this will be hard. I had a really amazing childhood. Every birthday and vacation was so much fun. I guess I really liked that we used to go on spring break trip sin elementary and middle school with our friends- like my parents and her parents and our siblings (who were friends) would all go on vacations together. It was great.
@JJMNO1616 I don't experience the pain (at least not that I've noticed) but a few months ago I was cramping weirdly and asked-seems the pain is all over the place from a couple of days before through the day of O. Maybe different ladies will have more input today though.
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: temping, OPK, I keep totally forgetting my PNV...
R/R: I have a short week. Tomorrow is my Friday! Woot!!
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory?
Probably softball-I played basically from t-ball through high school. I wish I still had the time to join a league and play!
Also family vacations. Lots of different places and experiences. I keep hoping that we can make memorable vacations for our kid(s) some day.

CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory?
looking back I would say it is some of the more mundane things, but things that kids really don't do anymore. Playing in the street/front yard until dark, making up games, playing hide and seek in our house. I also did some traveling with my grandmother which was cool.

i used to love going on vacation with my family my mom would always let me bring a friend and we always had a great time
@ JJMNO1616 Temping is such a fine art! Mine have been crazy this cycle and I think it is because of similar things to your situation today! I bet your temp goes up tomorrow. It could be an ovulation dip!

R/R: Rave: I am going to a play with my mom tonight! I never get to do things in the evening, so this is exciting! Rant (although sort of happy about it): So I unexpectedly got a solid smiley on my CBDA OPK today. My cycle has been messed up in terms of OPKs this month majorly, but this on CD 14 would TOTALLY make sense. I hope it’s true and I'm normalizing. I told DH to be up and ready when I get home for a quickie. We were due today anyway for EOD, so hoping I’m actually ovulating tonight/tomorrow.
CS/Q: My chart is a disaster!

GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? I have to go with all the crazy road-trips and vacations my family took! We drove EVERYWHERE (Niagara falls, DC, Orlando, TX, LA, Seattle, Mt Rushmore, and pretty much everywhere in between). Driving to all those places I have gotten to see a lot of the US. Also, we partly have Fiance's medical bill figured out. The doctor's office says it was covered, but the insurance just hasn't paid yet. The letter we got was supposedly to let us know that it's past due, and that no action was necessary. That's not at all what the letter actually says though. Probably going to have to call his insurance and see if they'll get the ball moving and get it paid.

GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? I can't really narrow it down to one memory, because while we lived in Germany I had the grandest time touring castles. WAYDTGKU: Temping/CM charting, OPK, HIO (I'm setting a lofty goal of ED during FW this cycle because YOLO), I decided to try Evening Primrose Oil. Thanks to @Avrilmai and @Sailing_Mama for your input/guidance on Green Tea. Since we will be traveling for 6 days starting tomorrow, it seemed like it might be difficult for me to drink enough green tea to make a difference, so I went with EPO for its transport-ability. Also, it was 30% off.
R/R: Today is my last day of work until next Wednesday. We leave for South Carolina tomorrow morning. I'm so excited to road trip with DH. I have all these visions of funny selfies and instagram videos in my head. He's going to think I'm so lame. I love it hahaha!
Rant: This AF has been hell on my boobs. They hurt so bad. I feel like every cycle has had a new ache or pain.
CS/Q: In regards to EPO, has anyone experienced delayed O?
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? Probably going up to the Poconos for family vacations each summer. We used to go with a big group of family friends and we would go mini golfing, go carting, horseback riding and swimming in the lake. We would all rent one big house and it was also such a special place. I actually went to college not to far from the development we had our house in and when I was stressed or needed some time to myself, I would drive up there and sit by the lake for a while.
@JJMNO1616 I sometimes notice pain the day of the temp rise. FX you get O confirmation soon!
@kiwi2628 GL making it through your long day and at your (possible) appt tomorrow. Enjoy your day off as well!
@50Wife I also played softball through HS and wish I could find a league to join! The few we have around here are super competitive but I don't think I am up to that level anymore.

Also, what area are you from? Have we discussed this before? Poconos (aka up the mountains) is my neck of the woods as far as trips/short vacations.
We were actually talking about renting a place up there for a week this summer.
@50Wife Jealous of your short week!
@Avrilmai @emilylove25 @beachbunnxo123 Thanks for reminding me about the possibility of a temp dip/fallback rise. My pattern doesn't normally do that so it slipped my mind. My temps have been hovering around 97.5 all cycle but it went up to 97.7 yesterday and down to 97.3 today. So I guess I'll have to wait and see what happens tomorrow!
@MrsMiller8588 I love a good hair day! I have been getting so many compliments since getting my hair done over the weekend. It's always makes for a better day when you feel like you look good.
@Sailing_Mama I hate working out the day I do my hair. It just ruins all the hard work.
@SoldiersMom Hope you have fun on your vacation!
Haha I don't think we discussed this per say but I picked up on some familiar lingo in one of your posts before. Up the mountains was our main destination for summer vacation growing up. It is hard to pick just one, so I am going to go with any memories that take place in my grandparent's basement. We had so much fun in that basement! I remember my cousin and I getting so excited about playing Bingo with my grandmother for "prizes". When we were little, even though they were silly, little things the prizes seemed so awesome and we were so eager to win. However, as we got older, it was revealed that that was really how my grandmother got rid of a bunch of stuff she didn't want, but felt bad throwing out.

R/R: Rant: So Sunday night was the first night we slept in our master room because I was painting the bright orange room a neutral gray to match our bedroom colors better. Well as we were setting up the furniture, I sort of noticed an odd smell but I let it go because I thought it was leftover paint fumes. Well Monday morning rolls around and OMG it smells so bad in our room. We open the windows, and let it air out and febreeze it like crazy. Last night we decided to borrow my friend's black light and took a look at the carpet... UM guys, there was SO many stains on the carpet... we think the old owners' dog had several accidents and the previous owners didn't do a good job of cleaning it up because it for real smells like pee... so disgusting!!
CS/Q: Nope.
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? Hmm this is a tough one. I have a lot of good memories. I'm thinking summer vacations in general. @Stargazer1lily HOW?! Tell me your secrets!! LOL but seriously, I'm thinking my tracker is off... even when I'm on my feet all day, i'll still get less than 10k.
@JJMNO1616 I get O pain often, even when I had Mirena, I'd still ovulate and I knew it every damn time. I have only been charting for 2 1/2 months tho, so I don't have a handle on exact pain-to-ovulation timelines. Last month, I saw a temp spike the day after I was doubling over in O-pain. We'll see what happens this month.

CD: 2? I think I was wrong yesterday, read thru the details on FF on what's considered day one... so i'm straightened out now.
WAYDTGKU: waiting for the red seas to clear up. BBT, will do OPK's religiously this cycle. Also starting the "girl diet" to make CM and environment more acidic. I'm doubtful it'll work, but hey, I like pickles!
R/R: Cramps from hell last night... snuggled with my heating pad, ate popcorn, and bummed around. It was nice to just SIT.
CS/Q:....
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? Real young, my dad stayed home with us while my mom worked, so summers were just like this big wonderful prolonged state of make believe. So much time playing with barn kitties, riding bikes, climbing trees, just being outside... and on rainy days lots of barbies and legos. Pretty freaking awesome. Sometimes I get sad that I work, and that my kids don't have that stay at home parent, but in the long run, I try to remind myself that they are still happy and healthy, and this allows us to have income to set them up for other things, like college, and able to travel and have vacations. The internal struggle is hard tho.

GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? I can't really narrow it down to one specific memory, but we used to spend entire summers on Cape Cod and it was glorious. We'd pack up the minivan the day after school let out for summer vacation and we wouldn't come home until Labor Day. Beach every day. I'm hoping we can do the same for our kids soon!
@Sailing_Mama Yup, I think it's what he needs most right now. Once his SO is on her own I imagine he'll be a lot happier, until then he's relying on his friends to talk about his troubles.
@SoldiersMom It was! -Well what I remember of it. We lived there for maybe four to five years. Also the Poconos sounds like fun! My mom is always talking about going to the Outer Banks with the whole family, but my family prefers outdoorsy/camping vacations over beach vacations, so I'll have to suggest this to her.
@Pinky917 I was so little when I first went, but I still remember bits and pieces. I will have to go again so that I can renew my memory! Your grandmother sounds awesome by the way!
@darkrose88 Oh! I'll have to visit England sometime to see their castles too! Sorry about your carpets - hope you can get them clean without too much more work =(

I think the bottle tells you to take more than that but I'm a nervous nelly with any sort of pills so I just took one.
Also, I don't have an issue with CM so maybe just taking one pill was enough for my body to actually notice a difference?
And regarding O...I noticed the two months I took the pills, I got at least 3 days of positive OPKs which never happens for me and hasn't happened since. Could be a total fluke but in my head they're related.

WAYDTGKU: All the things...
R/R: My reason for hopping on here early is that I'm having a rough TTC day...I had a positive OPK on Sunday and a dip in temp yesterday, which in past cycles would have meant that O day was yesterday. But my temperature this morning was just barely back to my cover line, so I'm left unsure of whether I'm post-O or not. What makes the uncertainty so hard is that DH has been so stressed and tired from working OT lately that our timing is going to be pretty bad (-3 at best) if I didn't O yesterday. So I'm emotional about that but I feel like I have to hide being upset from DH because I know he already feels bad enough about how things went this cycle. I ended crying in the car on the way to work, though. It's just hard to have something so out of our control (how much DH has to work) so completely sabotage things.
CS/Q: No, but maybe once I have more temps!
GTKY: My brother and I used to build really elaborate things out of blocks in the basement. Some of my favorite childhood memories are planning out something like a zoo, mall or theme park for our Fisher Price people and then working together to construct it!
@Augusta108 Sorry you are having a rough TTC day. Be good to yourself! In my opinion I don't think you necessarily need to hide being upset from YH. He might be upset right along with you! It's not that you are mad at him... just at the situation, which like you said is out of your control. I hope things get better today!

Sailing_Mama Thank you! Just the play because I have such a long drive from work no time for dinner… but I’ll take it! Genius move on the hair!
SoldiersMom Good luck with the ED goal! I did it last cycle and OMG I hated it after the third day. Converted to EOD this cycle, which is good because my FW has been two weeks/ambiguous. I hope you have good luck with the EPO.
darkrose88 Ugh to the smell! Are you going to have the carpet replaced? If not, Nature’s Miracle really helped neutralize urine smells when I was dealing with my last foster with pee issues in addition to a carpet clean! Also the gray sounds a lot better than the bright orange lol.
MrsMiller8588 LOL to the hidden cat poop! Gross but funny—after the fact at least!
AliW220 Cramps are the worst! As if we all don’t dread AF enough during TTC. Hope they are better tonight!
kmalls Good weather does make everything not seem as awful!
Augusta108 Major hugs. I am in a VERY similar situation to you this month. Multiple positive OPKs (cheap and digital—no temperature rise). I kept testing and have another positive today. Are you using the cheap ones? If so, maybe you’ll get another positive and that was just your body trying and will try again? I’ve also read temps can take 2-3 days to rise some cycles. FX you did O.

R/R: I came into work late today because we had annual check ups for both dogs and it ended up costing us over $700! Most of it was refills for flea/tick/heartworm preventative and then a few new medications for one of our pups because her allergies are flaring up pretty badly and zyrtec and fish oil just aren't doing the trick.
CS/Q:
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? I don't have one specific memory but we used to spend parts of our summers and spring breaks at my grandparents' house and my grandfather had this old shed full of wood working stuff and he would let us play in there (not with anything dangerous) and build toy guns and swords for us to "fight" each other with. It was always so much fun and especially in a big family like ours (me, four brothers, and 3 cousins). My grandfather also raised chickens and he used to take me into the room the incubator was in and let me see them which I loved.
@JJMNO1616 - I never feel O pain! My mom says she always felt it but I haven't noticed it.
@kiwi2628 - yay for having tomorrow off! I just started reading about HSG and the cost has me freaked out although I'm not sure we'll have to have it done yet but it's a definite possibility. Good luck!
@50Wife - Yay for a short week! I have a short week to but have to make it through Thursday.
@beachbunnyxo123 - I just went for a short walk at work and the weather is making me want to go home and sit on the deck. It's so nice out!
@MrsMiller8588 - I love good hair days! I'm having a terrible hair day so I'm rocking a hat
@SoldiersMom - Enjoy your time in SC! May I ask what part? I live in Upstate South Carolina and we're having really awesome weather right now.
@JJMNO1616 The once or twice I’ve felt O pain, I’ve gotten a temp increase by the next day. I will usually note it as mild cramping and then change it to O pain after the temp rises
@kiwi2628 Fx you don’t get that +OPK! And also that maybe you can get some of the HSG BFP magic! I also have a question on something I want your professional opinion on. Our dog had a check-up at the vet last week and they gave us a toothbrush and dog friendly toothpaste (poultry flavored…yum!) because she has some tartar buildup. Is there a dental chew that you would recommend for dog to help with that in the future?
@50Wife Yay for early Friday!
@LaurenEG14 GL in TWW! And we don’t want to see you back here!
@Dilynne I’m glad that you found an outlet that helps you so much!
@Avrilmai I know what you mean about things kids don’t do anymore. Most of them are so glued to their devices, they forget there’s an actual world out there. I still mourn the fact that a lot of playground no longer have teeter-totters, merry-go-rounds or metal slides….those were the best!
@beachbunnyxo123 I’m also loving the beautiful weather we’ve been having! I just hope it doesn’t decided to take another big dip
@EmilyLove25 Have fun at the play with your mom!
@MrsMiller8588 Woohoo for a good hair day!
@SoraLk That was a nice gesture you did for your friend! It may have been small but he probably appreciated it so much more than you realize!
@Sailing_Mama Hey CD buddy! I’m planning on running after work so I made sure to choose chicken instead of a burger for lunch. Although you can bet I still had my ice cream!
@SoldiersMom CD buddy #2!! (I feel like I’m in such good company!) Enjoy your road trip! If YH makes fun of you just stick your tongue out at him lol. Also in regards to EPO, I have never had it delay O for me and I’ve taken it a few different cycles.
@Pinky917 I try to think of a GTKY that’s going to elicit positive thinking and responses. We deal with so much negativity in this process already and don’t need any more added.
@darkrose88 Ugh! So sorry for the bad smell! I hope you’re able to get rid of it!
@AliW220 Glad you had a relaxing evening yesterday even if you had to deal with the horrible cramps!
@Augusta108 I’m so sorry you’re having such a rough day girl! We all have them and it’s ok to let it out and have a good cry every now and then. It might help to sit down and talk to YH about how you’re both feeling about this cycle when you find the time. I hope you feel better soon. Treat yourself tonight!
@gusgus14 Sorry about your pups allergies!

R/R: Last night DH and I went to a minor league ball game thanks to tickets I get through work. I spent most of the game playing on my phone but it was nice weather and the tickets were free! Today, my employer is doing a big lunch in honor of the Indians opening day! They do this every year and have a raffle for prizes that are Indians gear; each employee is given 2 raffle tickets to enter for the prizes of their choice. I never win but I figured it’s still worth a shot….and it’s free!
CS/Q: haha nope!
GTKY: What is your favorite/best childhood memory? Just like a lot of you, this is hard to pinpoint just one. We used to go to Cedar Point for the day with a big group of people every year and then after lunch all go on the big water ride together. And when I was little (under 9, I think) my dad would take me and all 3 of my older siblings on public transportation downtown the day after Thanksgiving to see Santa (my mom worked down there back then). Another is during the summers, while driving along, my dad would pretend that the car drove itself into the Dairy Queen parking lot and we would get ice cream. And of course, the endless hours of playing barbies with my friends! I had such an amazing childhood and I’m so happy I got to experience it before technology took over everyone’s lives

@beachbunnyxo123 I am with you. 10000x easier to be motivated when it is warm and nice out
@SoraLk that is super cool you lived in Germany! Are you european or did you move there for some other reason (military?)
@Pinky917 yay for a temp rise!
@darkrose88 that is SO GROSS about the carpet! I assume you have to rip it out now
@kmalls the story I am about to tell you is 100% true. In 9th grade I had a boyfriend who spent every supper on the cape with his family. Well when school started in 10th grade I was excited because I had some classes with my boyfriend. He didn't show up to the first day. Turn out, his mom decided a week previously to just stay and he didn't tell me or his friends until 3 days after school had started. Shocker- we broke up since he moved, but seriously. Just went there and never left. AND DIDNT EVEN TELL ME.
@lulu1180 those chews dont work. At all. Brushing is really the only thing to prevent tartar.

@MrsMiller8588 Oh my! I hope it doesn't, I've been reading on mine and it's likely due to who/what his insurance is. Hope yours doesn't give you any troubles!
@lulu1180 He stopped by during lunch extremely thankful, though I found out more of what's going on behind the scenes. At this point I feel bad that I haven't done more. My fiance reminded me though I have a social tomorrow that my coworker is a part of, so we're planning on bringing snacks for everyone. Hopefully it'll continue to brighten up his week.
