Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: Just balancing more than one child... Having a toddler is a lot of work, but add a newborn into the mix and it's a whole new ball game.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : I just can't wait for the relationship my children will have. Evy is so happy and loving and I know she'll adore her baby brother or sister.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions I actually do have a question! Did any other mama's use a pregnancy pillow? If so, what kind and did you love or hate it? I used a body pillow last time and it just didn't cut it. I've been looking at pregnancy pillows and I just don't know which one to get!
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do) Stay at home mom. This will be my full time job until all of our kids are in school, at least. Which could be awhile, since we'd like 4.
ETA: That graphic is pretty spot on and funny... My husband and I were talking about what we'll need to buy and I said nothing. We're getting some dressers and a crib from friends. Otherwise, I don't want to load my house up with any more crap!
Other Kids: My DS is 19 months
Current challenges/concerns: None really at the moment. I'm sure once I get further along I will have some, but for now just excited to be pregnant again!
Current happy thoughts: I can't wait to see DS with the baby! He loves babies and I know he will be a great big brother.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions - I can't wait for my ultrasound next week!
GTKY: I'm a working mom as an analytics manager at a large company. My job is very flexible with hours so I'm still able to spend a lot of time with DS.
@cmillar36 I love your kids names! So sorry for your loss.
When are you due?
12/14

I have a son, Jameson just turned 3.5 last week. He's been asking for a baby for awhile now so I hope he's as excited when that becomes a reality Haha
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM:
My current challenge is keeping up with his energy because he has ALOT of it. My biggest concern long term is definitely time management and how I'm going to be able to continue to "do it all"
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM :
This has been a long time coming. Right now I'm just soaking it all in that this is really happening and that my little guy may get to be a big brother after all because there were many times over the last two years that I wasn't sure if it would ever happen.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/
@vvitchhazel yes- I had the snoogle and LOVED it. I definitely need to get a new one because I think I have mine to my SIL a couple of years ago!
My current rant is my nausea that is coming in hard and fast. My rave is I just did my beta and I'm excited to get the results. Trying to stay positive!!
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do)
i am a working mom; I run a financial assistance department for a hospital and I also bartend 1 night a week for extra cash and sanity lol.

How old are your other kids? Share names if you'd like! Samuel will be 4 in June and Ezekiel (Zeke) just turned 14 months
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: I'm assuming it's ok to post here bc it's STM+ lol. My only concern about number 3 is the whole being outnumbered thing. My oldest is a super sweet and attentive kid though and loves our little guy so I'm trying to stay positive that he'll help out.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : I've always wanted 4 since having our first. My husband has always wanted 3 so we are on track. We're both secretly hoping for a little girl but honestly I'll be excited either way. I just want this lo healthy and strong.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/. What is with all the cramping!? I half wonder if my body is angry at me for getting myself pregnant right now lol. I have been working out and have lost a good amount of weight. So, the cramps and stretching pain is unreal compared to my other pregnancy experiences
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do) SAHM here, we have 2 Great Dane puppies, my sister and her husband living with us and their 3 huskies. So I still work lol but it's all at home

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM:
Definitely worried about having my kids so close together. But excited about it at the same time
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM :
As much as this wasnt an expected thing we are still very happy about it because we both wanted our two babies and be done. So the closer together they are i feel like they are going to be best friends
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/

DD is 15 months
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM:
When I figured out how much of a game changer getting DD on a schedule was in the early days, I was all about schedules. It made things so much easier and happier for everyone. With this LO, I'm most worried about getting everyone on a good routine with naps, feeding, etc and really just being able to balance everything.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM :
I'm just happy to be pregnant right now and excited to be growing our family. I'm trying not to let myself get too excited about anything specific until we see a nice, strong heartbeat on that u/s.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/
I think that picture is spot on. Though, I really would like a baby jogger city select with double seats with two LOs. Walking/running outdoors is a huge sanity saver for me right now. I'm not sure if DH will go for the price though.
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do)

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: last night I may have shed a tear or two while putting DS to bed thinking about how pretty much EVERYTHING is going to change.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : i can't wait to give DS a little brother or sister!
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/ rant: DS and I currently both have colds... not ideal.

Our DD is Evelyn Mae, she will be two very soon!!
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM:
I have no concerns yet, I'm just so nervous this time around for being pregnant. I was so blissfully unaware last time, and I know how fragile everything is at this point. Trying not to let the nerves get to me until our first US on May 2nd.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM :
So exceited to see DDas a sister. She is obsessed with all things baby and I just know she's going to be great.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/
None yet, other than has anybody done a big move while pregnant? We're moving back from overseas to the States (DH is In the Air Force.)
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do)
i currently am a Pre-School teacher, and I am utterly exhausted. But I love those kiddos.

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: breastfeeding is a little ouchie sometimes, tired, headache, backache, heartburn
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : we were looking for a new vehicle when we got our bfp so we opted for something with third row to accommodate 3 car seats. We bought a yukon Denali. I looooooove it!
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/ I'm so sleepy. Need more sleeeep, or more energy. Either is fine
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do) stay at home mom and homeschooling mom

Adelina Nadine will be 16 months on the 13th
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM:
My daughter spoiled me by being a wildly efficient nurser for the first year. Only one breast per feeding from the day she was born, and she would finish a nursing session in 4 minutes by the time she was a few months old. She never ever fell asleep nursing. Now, she nurses every two or three hours at most, around the clock, and goes from one side to the other over and over. I don't offer to nurse, but she shouts "nurse!" as she pulls at my clothes. My biggest challenge is to help her find other ways to relax. Also, she doesn't let anyone else put her to sleep, so I never leave her for more than two or three hours.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM :
My daughter loves babies, so I'm hoping she'll be excited. My brother has been my best friend my entire life, so I'm looking forward to aiding in that sibling bond.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/
I wear Adelina and walk at least 6-8 miles a day when the weather is nice - I guess I should start practicing a back carry!
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do)
SAHM mostly by necessity, as I can't imagine my kid letting anyone else watch her. However, I have taken some makeup clients and a few quick singing gigs here and there in the past year and a half. My husband and I also own a website development company; I do the design and he does the coding.

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: I'm trying not to get ahead of myself, so focusing on short term: I have NO idea where I'm going to find the energy to keep up with a toddler while pregnant! Thankfully, Z still takes 2 naps a day so I'll have to ditch my cleaning routine and join him for at least one of those.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : I'm excited for my kids to grow up together!
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/ @vvitchhazel the snoogle is where it's at! DH ordered it for me around 7 months last time, and it was a total game changer. I'd sleep with that thing the rest of my life if we didn't already have 2 giant dogs in our bed taking up all the space!
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do) I work FT; I'm a pharmacist/pharmacy manager.
When are you due? 12/1
How old are your other kids? I have 2 girls, Lydia is 3 and Fiona is 2. They are 14 months apart!
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM:
keeping up with 2 toddlers when I feel like crap! I wasn't too sick my first 2 pregnancies. This one is no joke! I pretty much have felt hungover the last week. Not fun.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : I'm super excited to see my youngest be a big sister!
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/
I feel like people are going to assume we are having a third baby because we have 2 girls. This is not the case. We always wanted 3 and will be more then happy with whatever we get!
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do) I'm a SAHM mom! Before my oldest was born I worked in Hospitality design.
Other children: Grayson will be 3 in May and Amelia turned 1 in March.
Current challenges/ concerns: I had HG with both previous pregnancies and it was terrible. I'm also nervous about having 3 so close in age. I don't feel like I've gotten enough time with my daughter yet and I'm worried about being able to give all three the attention they deserve.
Current joys: I not experiencing any symptoms yet!
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions: why did my OB have to move 3 hours away? Now I have to find a new one
GTKY: I'm a sahm which I absolutely love!
How old are your other kids? Share names if you'd like!
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: I love my daughter so so much and I feel kind of guilty making her share our time. I remember the first six months of a baby's life is so very hands on so I feel like she won't get all the attention she deserves.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : Kids are awesome so adding another makes me happy dance! I love feeling the baby grow and it just gets better and better after birth! I am excited for it all.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/ Not yet, no.
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do) I work, insurance.
I also have some of the same worries/guilt about making DD share our time during the day too.

Noah will be 3 in August
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM:
This is early but breastfeeding was such a soul-rushing nightmare with Noah. I need to decide if I even want to attempt it again or if we would all be better off going formula from Day 1.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM :
Being a bit older I was afraid I may have "missed the chance" of having a second. Just happy to be KU'd.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions:
I am really looking forward to the FTM questions that will cause STM+ moms to quietly eye-roll. I am 1000% sure that if I went back and looked at my prior BMB I would be pretty embarrassed about the stuff I thought I knew and/or believed about parenting.
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do)
Registered Nurse here too! I work Step-down / DOU and have been on my unit for 5 years. I did a really short stint in Post-Partum as well.

Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: I have no idea how I'm going to take care of a newborn and an 18 month old. Thinking about trying to figure out how to BF while entertaining a toddler is already giving me nightmares.
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : I can't wait to see what a fun relationship DS and LO will have being so close in age.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do) I'm a full time student studying health education and promotion. I was finally going to graduate in December but LO is due two weeks before finals are over so I'm not sure how well I'm going to navigate that while figuring out BF and such.
How old are your other kids? Share names if you'd like!
Current challenges/concerns about being a STM: I'm hoping I can learn quickly how to manage time and be a good mom to both! Also that naptimes will magically align often enough for me to stay sane
Current joys/successes/or happy thoughts about being a STM : I am SO excited to grow our family and to see my son be an awesome and helpful big brother.
Rants/Raves/Randoms/Questions/: I have only told one person other than my husband that I'm pregnant and it's KILLING me! I want to tell the world! Last pregnancy we waited until like 14 weeks to tell anyone but our parents. My siblings were shocked that we could keep a secret that long. As much as I want to tell people I've also joked about waiting until we know the sex to share our news... I don't think I'm that patient, though.
GTKY: SAHM? Working mom? (If yes to later, what do you do): SAHM but on random days when my husband's schedule works to be home with our son, I substitute teach.
