I noticed this was on the schedule but no one's done it yet. I hope no one minds if I start it!
1. How far along are you?
2. How many kids do you have?
3. How are you feeling?
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
Nov 17 BMB May Siggy Challenge: Mother's Day Fails

Re: STM+ Moms Check-In 4/5
1. 6wk 4 days, EDD 11/25
2. one 23 month old boy, will be two 05/05
3. absolutely and completely exhausted, significant nausea and very little patience...
4. I don't remember feeling this horrible last time. I remember feeling blah but this is definitely worse. I'm sure that's large part in not being able to rest the way I could last time since I'm chasing my little man around now.
5. Have not told him, waiting until after first dr apt at the end of the month and then, not too sure yet aside from just trying to explain it as best you can to a toddler. Definitely open to ideas/suggestions from those who have done so before!
7w4d. Or 3d. IDK. I'll edit once I see my signature LOL Edit: 7w3d.
2. How many kids do you have?
1 toddler boy!
3. How are you feeling?
Today I smelled a hot dog at a vendor cart and it smelled so good but the thought of eating one made me gag. That's literally how pregnancy has been going for me.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
The symptoms come and go. Exhaustion is still real to the point that I have no idea how to stay awake at work without walking or standing.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
He's 2 so he doesn't understand. He's great with babies and kids so I am excited.
2. How many kids do you have? Pregnant with my 3rd
3. How are you feeling? Good! I had an appointment this morning and saw a baby growing on track and with a strong heartbeat. Can't get much better news than that!
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)? It seems similar. Bloating, nausea comes in waves, waking up for hours in the middle of the night.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them? Not yet. Once we tell our 4 year old, everyone in the world will hear about it. We will probably tell after the sequential screening, when we have a picture from the NT scan that actually looks like a baby and when we're out of the first trimester. We're toying with the idea of finding out the sex so we can let her know if she'll be getting a brother or sister. My 1 year old wouldn't understand yet, so we'll tell him when we tell DD, but I don't think he'll get it until baby is actually here.
2. DS is 4.5 and DD is 2.5
3. Tired. And I get nauseous if I get too hungry.
4. I think the "ms" feels different this time. I'm hungry all the time, but nibbling makes me feel better. Haven't had the coffee/chocolate adversion that happened twice before either.
5. No, I think we will tell DS when we have a picture from the dating scan... maybe get out the ultrasound pics of him? DD will just go with the flow I'm assuming
@kissthesky32 Hooray, how exciting!!!
1. How far along are you?
7+2
2. How many kids do you have?
1 daughter, 2 years old
3. How are you feeling?
Pretty blah, but what else is new. I thought this pregnancy might be easier since I've already gone through it...but could it possibly be worse?? (I think it's probably about the same and I just don't remember how bad it was last time.)
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
It's actually remarkably similar so far, as far as I can recall. It's weird how little I remember about my last healthy pregnancy, actually--at least about 1st tri. I loved my 2nd and 3rd trimesters last time so I think I put the terrible 1st out of my mind.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
My daughter is 2 and doesn't really get it, so I have talked to her about it and told her she will have a baby brother or sister. We don't talk about it too much because she's a little parrot and we don't want her to repeat it to other people! But I think it would be nice to ease her into the knowledge over the next few months so she's not too surprised.
2. How many kids do you have? We have a 20 month old daughter.
3. How are you feeling? Exhausted, nauseous, unmotivated.. but on the bright side we have our first OB appt tomorrow. Can't wait for the U/S
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)? It's much more difficult than my first pregnancy. I remember being tired and having some slight MS the first go around but this time is really taking it out of me.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them? We've told our daughter but I don't expect her to understand what's going on yet. She loves babies and I'm hopeful that everything will go well and she'll be a great big sister!
10+1
2. How many kids do you have?
One crazy toddler boy
3. How are you feeling?
Better, the nausea has been traded off for RLP, but I'll take it
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
Last one was a piece of cake. This one is definitely more challenging. Having a 2yo that doesn't STTN doesn't really help matters though.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We told him pretty much right off the bat, but he's so little I don't think he really gets it. If you ask him where mama's baby is he points to my boobs lol

2. How many kids do you have?
1! She's four, will be (hopefully) 5 when baby arrives.
3. How are you feeling?
Nauseous. Exhausted.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
I feel like the nausea is more intense this time around, but it's hard to say if I'm just forgetting how bad it was the first time around! I remember being exhausted with my first, but a more physically demanding job and a high energy 4 year old really just poop me right out.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We haven't told her yet, because she's a blabber mouth and everyone will know. DH brought up baby names to her last night, and she wants a sister named Lemony. We are doing the same for her as the grandparents, though. We are going to give her an Easter egg with an ultrasound picture inside.
2. One son who is almost 19 months, 2 saint babies.
3. Nauseous and tired!
4. I'm much sicker and more tired than with my first. My acne has already started like it did last time, but that's pretty much the only similarity.
5. We have told him, but I don't think he'll understand until the baby is born.
8 weeks 6 days
2. How many kids do you have?
Two. A four year old girl that will be five by EDD and a one and a half year old girl that will probably still be one by EDD. I'm due the 9th and her birthday is the 12th!
3. How are you feeling?
Like death. Honestly. I caved in this pregnancy and got anti-nausea meds but they don't help and just make me ridiculously tired. The MS is real this time around (was bad the other two times but not like this). I actually have had to pull over from driving a few times to puke because apparently 10 minutes without puking is not allowed. Thanks baby or babies.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
Kind of said above but I'll say more. I have a very obvious bump already. Didn't show with DD1 until I was 30+ weeks and didn't show with DD2 until 25+ weeks. Even then they were small and could pass as bloat. We better tell people soon, I guess!
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
No, because my oldest will tell the whole world and no one knows yet. I accidentally said I was pregnant in front of her the other day and she got all excited and screamed, "you're pregnant?!". I had to save myself fast and say no, never lol.
2. How many kids do you have? one 6yo boy
3. How are you feeling? pretty miserable. Zofran is helping but I'm exhausted and nauseous and absolutely just furious at the world.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)? more stress now. My son has medical and developmental special needs and takes like 110% of my energy so not having the total focus for him is hard.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them? no, he's not going to be happy. I may wait until I know if it's a boy or a girl.

2. How many kids do you have?
3. DS1 is 6. DS2 is 4.5 and DD is 3.
3. How are you feeling?
A zombified puking machine is a fairly accurate description.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
I puked hardcore with all pregnancies but I only spotted at 6w with my DD and this pregnancy. Never spotted with the boys.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We we told them after we told both sets of parents. We don't see family often enough to have them blab. My SIL knows but because she is going through fertility treatments and knew we were ttc.
Married: 11/2013
"Q" DS1: 3/2011
"T" DS2: 10/2012
"A" DD: 1/2014
EDD #4: 11/26/2017
9 weeks today!
2. How many kids do you have?
1 angel baby girl, 1 living toddler boy
3. How are you feeling?
Pretty gross. Nauseous every night, sore boobs, food aversions out the wazoo. I did willingly eat meat besides bacon last night though - pulled pork - which was good. But the thought of chicken or steak makes me gag still. Also I don't know if it's just me, but I think I've been looking kinda rough lately.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
It's interesting, this pregnancy is almost exactly like my first (angel daughter). With DS, I was nauseous only once, never puked, didn't really have any aversions, and looked awesome the whole time.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
He's 2 so he doesn't really understand but I did tell him there's a baby in mommy's belly. So every morning now he goes "baby?" and touches my belly. He kissed it today too

7.4 weeks
2. How many kids do you have?
I have 3 boys - 4.5, 2.5 and 13 months
3. How are you feeling?
Finally starting to get nausea, as of the last couple days. Lots of exhaustion.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
It has been much easier so far, to the point where I was nervous. I'm happy to have some nausea and exhaustion this week, as it has hit at the beginning of week 5 with my other kids.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We will tell them right before we tell our parents and siblings. We won't do anything fancy
7+1
2. How many kids do you have?
Just one other. DD just turned one in March
3. How are you feeling?
Pretty darn crappy in general. Feeling like a horrible mom and & housewife since most days i'm too nauseous to get off the couch but DH is a great sport about it and very supportive.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
It honestly feels pretty similar. I do remember being very nauseous the last time not near as nauseous as this go around. However last time I lost 15lbs first trimester and none so far this time so that's a plus!!
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We tell her all the time but she's one so she definitely doesn't understand and probably won't until baby is here but it's fun to pretend like she does.
7w2d
2. How many kids do you have?
3-ages 10, 5, and 7months. Plus 2-stepchildren-ages 6 and 7.
3. How are you feeling?
Exhausted!! A little nauseated.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
No heartburn yet, which is something that was consistent with all three of my previous pregnancies. Less vomiting than my last pregnancy. More exhaustion.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
Definitely not yet. First of all ,they'll tell the whole world and we're not ready yet. (**TW** Second, we've had two miscarriages in the past, and they'd be devastated if we lost the baby.**TW**). We'll probably tell them on Mother's Day when we tell our parents. We'll be 12 weeks and 5 days then. Not sure how we'll tell them yet though!
8w2d
2. How many kids do you have?
DS - 15 months
3. How are you feeling?
Nauseated on and off daily.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
I had zero symptoms until about 10 weeks last time. With DS, I had sciatic nerve pain 10 weeks - 30 weeks. THE WORST.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We've been trying to teach him "easy with the baby" with babydolls. So far, he throws them. I'm sure if he understand what was happening, he would not be pleased.
2. DD - 3 1/2
3. Exhausted.
4. Much more nauseous.
5. My DD found out because we went to an unexpected ultrasound and she was there. She now tells everyone....
2: I have a 4 month baby boy
3: I'm feeling extremely fatigued. I work full time and DH is helping so much with our son it's amazing.
4: I feel more tired this time around and I just hate that I am heavier than last time due to retained weight. This in turn stresses me out because now I fear other health issues. I also have epilepsy so more weight gain equals a higher dose of meds and that does not make me happy.
5. Well my son is way too young, but we are giving him as much love and attention as we possibly can before his sibling arrives (he will be 11 months). We plan on telling family over easter
Me: 28
DH:
29
#1 DS: 11/24/2016
#2 EDD: 11/15/2017
2. 2 daughters, who will be 3.5 and a little over 2 when #3 and #4 arrive.
3. I've constantly felt like I might throw up any minute since my U/S yesterday but I think it's all in my head bc of nerves.
4. Not sure yet. Both times I didn't have many symptoms until around 7-8 weeks and I'm right around there now. First pregnancy I was basically bedridden from 7-14 weeks, and the second time around I was virtually symptomless as long as I ate as soon as I woke up and ate small meals all day long. Hoping for another one of those but not holding my breath!
5. I told the older one when she asked why I went to the doctor, and then she later told the nanny that when she goes to the doctor she can get two babies just like mommy.
2. How many kids do you have?
2 boys 5 and 3. They will be 6 and almost 4 when baby comes.
3. How are you feeling?
Nausea and exhaustion. A little grumpy. My first US is at 11 weeks and I'm getting impatient to know everything is fine and to move past the secrecy phase.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
A lot of early bloat more nausea than previous.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
Not yet, although I've caught myself almost saying something a couple of times. I think we will wait until after the first US if everything looks good. I think I will bring them to the gender ultrasound so they feel part of it.
2). One boy, 17 months. He will be almost 2 when baby gets here.
3). I'm just really tired.
4) My breasts do not hurt and they killed me last time. Also, I haven't cried this time and I spent my entire pregnancy crying last time.
5). He wouldn't understand even if I told him.
7 weeks 4 days
2. How many kids do you have?
2 boys!
3. How are you feeling?
Emotional, sick, exhausted.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
This one is totally different than my last 2. Ds1 was no symptoms aside from heartburn for the whole pregnancy. Ds2 was 1 hour of nausea every night at the same time, meat aversions until 6 months, and heartburn again. Now, nausea is at any time of the day, first pregnancy with vomiting, having bouts of diarrhea, but no food aversions. Also, last 2 pregnancies I craved sweet and this one is anything spicy!
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We told them last night. Ds2 is only 3 and doesn't really understand it much and didn't really care. Ds1 is insistent that he WILL have a sister, and is requesting we name her Rose (not my style lol). He is very excited!
If you're not looking for something that big and crazy, I'd recommend the Honda Pilot! I had one when we only had 4 kids and it was wonderful!!! Plenty of space, usable trunk even when the third row was up. I bought a Toyota Highlander when we went to 5 kids and I loved it, but it was not big enough for us.
@LadyBugMe101 Wow, a 4 month old! That must be super tough. I hope your pregnancy gets easier!
Although a funny thing .... the fact that we could do 3 seats across in the middle row was a major selling point for us over the Sienna... assuming we'd have a third while the older two were still in carseats. Now we're going to have to put the "big" two in the back row anyway!
Also, my second DD's name is Charlotte.
1. How far along are you?
-8 weeks 4 days
2. How many kids do you have?
- one, she is 19 months
3. How are you feeling?
- ready to be out of first trimester. I am nauseas and tired but not vomiting anymore so I am happy with that. I feel so easily annoyed/emotionally exhausted these past few days. Poor H I feel like I have been a terrible wife this week.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
- I didn't vomit last pregnancy. I also don't think I was so tired, but like others said it might be bc I could sleep whenever I wanted last time!
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
- she would not understand yet.
Somewhere in the 8-10week range I think. I haven't had a ultrasound yet.
2. How many kids do you have?
3. DS is 6. DD1 is 3. DD2 is 11months
3. How are you feeling?
the last 4weeks have been rough! It's been a bit better the last few days. I haven't puked since Thursday(yay!) I am still so very exhausted though. And I pee so much!
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)?
It feels very similar to the other ones. I'm more tired this time. Could be because I have an almost 1yr old who doesn't believe in sleeping.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
Yes, we told them a few weeks ago, since I've been so sick and out of it. They haven't said a word to anyone about it yet! I'm shocked they've been so good a keeping a secret.
Baby #4 Due November 2017!
1. 9 weeks today
2. two boys - a 4 year old (also a November baby) and a 1 year old
3. I generally feel good, but I'm tired, hungry, moody, bloated.
4. I almost feel like I have less symptoms with this one that my previous ones. But maybe I'm just not paying as much attention with two other little people to chase after.
5. We haven't told them yet. My one year old won't care, but once we tell my 4 year old the world will know. My first dr appt is next Thursday, so I definitely want to wait until at least then to make sure all is well. I had a miscarriage in between my boys so I'm cautious right now about sharing the news. I'm not sure how we will share the news just yet either.
Also, we bought a minivan this past August, and love it. Highly recommend taking the plunge. Sliding doors, stow-able seats, lots of space, drives nice.
2. How many kids do you have? Twin boys
3. How are you feeling? Meh I forgot all the feels, physical and emotional that go along with this. Thought it would be easier this time
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)? Somewhat similar I feel nauseous but it's just raging hunger and fatigue hits me like a shovel!
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them? Yep, their best buddy is expecting a younger brother next month so they see his mom and hear him talk about baby. They pat my tummy and say baby but of course have no real idea what it means.
2. How many kids do you have? 1 who will be three in may and is exemplifying the term threenager already
3. How are you feeling? Ok, nervous still since I have had spotting off and on. Nauseous
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)? I'm less sick than I was with DS but I didn't really get super sick with him until closer to 9 weeks. I'm also a lot less tired (probably because I weight 160 pounds less!).
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them? I didn't tell him but he must have overheard. Once we realized he knew we told him. He seems ok with it but I do worry because he possibly has autism and does not like babies, other kids, noise etc.
2. How many kids do you have? 1 (3 in May)
3. How are you feeling? For the most part ok. I'm overly tired, short of breath, nauseated and my tailbone feels bruised.
4. How is this pregnancy different from/the same as your other(s)? With DD I had heavy bleeding (no cramping) at 6.5 weeks due to a subcheonic hemorrhage this pregnancy I have had no bleeding). With DD I got sick maybe a max of 3 times and it was always after I ate something with Mayo (which I later learned is a no no during pregnancy anyway so I stopped eating it and didn't get sick anymore. This pregnancy I am slowly learning this baby hates all meat so I have been throwing up at least three times a week for the last three weeks.
5. GTKY: Have you told your other kid(s) yet, and if not, when & how will you tell them?
We did. She is super excited and cannot wait for the baby to get here. In fact she thought it came in the mail the other day haha.
Since we had our second back to back loss in September I had to go for Betas. I'm a SAHM so I took her with me. She loved watching them take my blood. However, later that week I came down with a horrible virus and had to go to the doctor. DD was starting to get a little concerned that we went to so many doctors appointments that week so DH and I sat down with her and told her. Surprisingly, she has only told a few people with our permission.
