I need maternity dress pants that won't cost me an arm and a leg. Mine are so worn in from wearing them so much at work that there's holes in the thighs, and I can't justify buying pants right now if they won't fit me in a couple of months. But everything looks like it's 70 or 80 dollars.
There are some maternity consignment stores online that tend to have things like this. Also, sometimes consignment sales in your local area may have maternity gear
@stephy_p I have a pair of front only (so dumb), low-band jeans from Old Navy that don't have pockets and it drives me NUTTY. Not only do i have to wear a belt with them b/c they're is like, no way they'll stay up, but I can't clip my work badge onto my pocket. It infuriates me.
I got a couple jeans and some dress pants at Destination Maternity that I love! I also got a couple cute tops from there. I'm not sure what I'm going to do for work yet. My scrubs still fit, but eventually they won't! I do work the desk position now since I'm on precautions the whole pregnancy. Maybe they'll be ok with normal clothes towards the end of the pregnancy lol!
Y'all this maternity pants band to my boobies thing ITCHES! Though otherwise I have decided that these are my new forever pants. Does powder or something help? Or will I get used to it?
Has anyone had any experience with Pink Blush Maternity? Do they fit true to size, and are they good quality? I like some of their dresses and shirts, but don't want to buy if I'm not sure about the quality and size.

I've wondered about their stuff, too... they have cute things!
Not sure if this was discussed on the board before, but I just got my first-ever box from StitchFix (I asked for maternity clothes) and it was awesome. I took advice from friends to be pretty specific in my instructions (I wanted conservative, simple dresses to wear to work at my tragically business formal dress code office) and got two AWESOME dresses and an awesome top (that's not maternity but should fit at least for the next few months and then hopefully again after september). I also got a terrible pair of turquoise jeggings (!?!) and a meh maxi dress that are being returned but 3/5 ain't bad.
It's not as cheap as other sources-- I think the dresses were $60 each or so-- but I've had a hard time finding formal-enough dresses (which usually means lined, structured, and not thin cotton jersey) at other maternity stores.
Also, @mrs_tacos, I just ordered a couple things from Pinkblush and they are supposed to show up today... will update once I try them on!
Does anyone have a recommendation for athletic shorts?! That's usually my go-to lounging and sleeping attire.. but I can't find anything maternity that's not a booty short My thighs were big to begin with, but have been growing with this pregnancy... I need the longer inseam to prevent chub rub!
Target was a bust for me, as was Destination Motherhood.
@mrsmarygs I ordered two of the bodycon style dresses from old Navy. One tank style, one with short sleeves. They come Tuesday and I soooo hope they're good buys!!! Show us pics!

I got some of their stuff last pregnancy and was pleased with the quality. Pants I found to fit smaller than usual and tops and dresses were true to size.
re Pinkblush... got my order and tried everything on. My favorite thing is probably a pair of cuffed denim shorts I added to my cart at the last minute. I am not a shorts person (most shorts are too short and ride up into my crotch, I hate them) but these were a great midthigh length and fit perfectly. Super comfy belly band too.
I got two of the more fitted bright floral print dresses that seem to be their big thing, and both are great-- nice thick fabric and good fit (a little baggy in the stomach now but lots of room to expand into). I got two non-floral dresses that are not nearly as nice; a navy wrap dress that is literally transparent even when I'm not wearing it and a striped sundress that makes me look twice as wide as (I hope) I am. Everything was pretty much TTS, and pretty stretchy to fit a reasonable range of people (and pregnant bellies).
Rosssssssssssss!!!!!!!!!! i usually hate shopping there. So Cal Rosses are the worst. they smell like piss in each one...highly disorganized....nightmare. Anyway...I'm super not sure If i want to have more kids after this one, so I didn't wanna spend too much. I got a super cute dress, skinnies, and leggings for under $10 each. I'm one happy cheapskate. lol
I got several t-shirts from Gap maternity today, and they are suuuper comfy and soft, fyi.
Also, PinkBlush Maternity is out of mediums in almost all of their fitted dresses, and a lot of the shirts I like. Boo! Mama needs and Easter dress that doesn't swim on her!
I finally got to our Walmart today and bought a black tshirt, black linen shorts and a black dress. See a theme? I happened to notice while I was shopping I was wearing a black jacket, black dress, black leggings and black toms.
I think I need to work on expanding the color options in my wardrobe.
I'm pregnant with #2, took out some maternity tops I wore with #1, and they don't fit right! waaahhh!! Even though I lost all the baby weight +20 lbs, I dont think my hips ever went back. So all my tunic shirts with the little ties which were nice and flowy last time are now snug on my hips and pookie area. I thought being pregnant at the same time as last time would be great, only need to pick up a few pieces of clothes. #nope I need to buy a whole bunch of stuff for work. Did I mention, waaah? lol
@mrstacos@wyomama0427 LOL! I sometimes forget that everyone doesn't know my weird terms for things. The pookie area is the stomach area between your hips, all that lovely pudge there. My friends also call it the "mom pouch"
@CharChar821 All my old mat clothes are doing the same *waaahhhh** I bought good high quality pieces thinking I would get the value of out them if I wore them through 2 pregnancies...NOPE! Im hardly second tri and already have pile of " too small" mat clothes that I wore until the end of my last pregnancy.
This coming weekend I'm having DH help me find my maternity clothes. With the heat coming I want my shorts and my exercise pants out. My LuLaRoe has been working pretty well so far thankfully. But I'm ready to have everything out in case.
Just got the rest of my Old Navy order, so I figured I'd do a review.
I got a navy blouse, a white t-shirt, a black t-shirt, a pink sun dress, a black and white striped maxi dress, and a black maxi dress for about $100.
I fell in love with this top in the pink print after trying it on in store, but when I went to buy it online they only had the navy one. I sized down to an XS since it seemed very loose up top. $18
The white t-shirt and black t-shirt ended up being smaller than I thought. They will fit now but I might have to size up to M for third trimester. $8 each
After not getting the blouse in this pink print, I had to get this sundress. It's light and airy and had plenty of room in the belly for growth. I don't even look pregnant in it right now. $24
This is the dress I wore for HDBD, but I tried to get more of it in this picture. It's floor length and had slits on both sides at the knees. This is an XS because it was the only size in store, so I'm hoping it stretches a lot. It should fit for most of the way into 3rd trimester. $24
Another maxi dress, but this one is a S and less form fitting. Should last me all the way. It only had one slit on the left side. $20
I took my maternity clothes out of storage amd realized I have way too much warm weather stuff I'm never going to get to wear and so much of it is fucking ugly. Oh well.
@mrsmarygs thats all really cute! I ordered a knee length dress and a couple of tank tops from old navy... they seemed to fit pretty true to pre-maternity old navy sizes. I'm just hoping the tank tops will be long enough that I can wear them a while.
Re: Maternity Clothes!
I just ordered some from Zulily. They are inexpensive. They just take forever to ship sometimes.

a) I don't want to shave my legs.
b) my legs are pasty pale right now
c) I tried to put on tights the other day, got halfway up one leg and laughed.
Cant wait for warmer weather!!!
