  • Destination Maternity has some great deals online!
Has anyone ordered from them before? And can clearance items be returned?
  • @MrsJessS I haven't, but a girl at work was telling me yesterday she got all her maternity clothes there. She bought in store, though, I think.

  • @MrsJessS I bought 2 dresses in the store the other day and love! Not sure about their return policy though
  • I'm pretty sure Destination Maternity and Motherhood Maternity are the same store with different names in different regions. Can anyone confirm this?

  • @wyomama0427 Also weird that the dollar amount for free shipping is different.

  • @mrs_tacos  from my understanding Motherhood/Destination/Pea in the Pod are kinda similar to Banana Republic/Gap/Old Navy?  I was in store a few weeks ago and the store in my are is called Destination Maternity but they carried all 3 lines and I purchased items from all 3 lines in one purchase.  Although, on the Motherhood site it looks like all they carry is Motherhood and Destination and on the Destination Maternity site you can access all 3 brands, so that isn't making a ton of sense to me.
  • @bridge-and-wall I didn't even notice that! That's so weird. I wonder why they're so different..
  • Anyone find any good workout clothes? I have a pair of compression capris from Old Navy that are pretty good. Currently looking for (inexpensive) tops but the ON ones don't get great reviews.
  • @mamaofthegarden I got a pretty good workout top from Target. I think it was $15, but I could be wrong about that.

Old navy is having 40% off online today!  I bought two pair of maternity pants, a maternity maxi skirt, and shirt for 75 dollars.
  • @mamaofthegarden Lucy is making maternity work out clothes now, but they aren't cheap. Worth it I think if you work out regularly.
  • Resurrecting this thread....

Check out Poshmark. Some of the "shops" give you a discount if you bundle (buy 2+ items from their shop) and you can actually make an offer instead of paying what they have listed. I found 4 dresses from the same shop so I got 10% off and then I offered about $12 less than the total came to and the seller accepted my offer!

  • Yes! Poshmark is amazing. Most of the time I use it to find styles that I have loved but aren't sold anymore. For example, in college I bought several pairs of ballet flats in suede because they held up pretty well. Old Navy stopped selling those particular flats for three years, and I bought all my shoes on Poshmark in the meantime.
You do have to remember that it's $6 shipping, so try bundling as much as you can.

  • I went to Destination Motherhood (or Destination Maternity? I can't remember) on Monday. They have like 4 or 5 styles of plus size pants, but I was able to find find jeans I don't completely hate, a decent pair of black work slacks, leggings, a maxi skirt, and a nursing dress (that's super cute and so comfy). It was pricy (I'm also really cheap about clothes), but I reminded myself I will be in them for months. And the skirt and nursing dress potentially a couple years.
  • I ordered a floral maxi dress from Wren and Ivory for a Derby party next week, and I love it! It feels nice and was $38. Hopefully soon I'll be able to post a pic... Grrrr.
