Birth Date: 6/27 (RCS - cheating, sorry) Birth Weight: 7 pounds, 8 oz Birth Time: 8:15am Total time in Labor: none, RCS Team Greens? Boy or Girl: team green turned blue
FTM so this is based on nothing lol Birth Date: July 7 (EDD July 5 - see story for reason below) Birth Weight: 8lb 4oz Birth Time: 11:03 am Total time in Labor: 12 hours
So I haven't talked about this much on here, but my dad had a massive stroke in January of 2016 and has permanent brain damage which makes him confused a lot and his memory is not great. We kind of joke that he has psychic powers now because a few times, he has said that he saw something (the end of a sporting event or something like that) and will tell us how it ends, and each time it's actually happened. He did it for the super bowl! Well, he keeps telling people my due date is July 7 instead of July 5, so my mom and I keep joking that if the baby comes on July 7, dad really is psychic!
Birth Date: EDD: July 9th. My guess: July 5th Birth Weight: 8lbs 3 ounces Birth Time: 1:15pm Total time in Labor: 14 hours Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Boy!
I pulled the numbers out of a hat, no idea how accurate they will be!
Birth Date: 8/7 (EDD 7/30) Birth Weight: 6lb 12oz Birth Time: 6:20am Total time in Labor: 12 hrs (please Lord, just less than 17 like last time) Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Team Pink (already know)
DD was 9 days late, 6lb 13oz, and 17 hrs of labor- figuring this one will be similar since my AS measurements this time were spot on for DD's measurements.
Birth Date:7/3 (EDD is 7/16, and DS was 13 days early...this is more of a hope for longer time with baby before school starts) Birth Weight: 6lbs 10oz (DS was 5lb. 15oz.) Birth Time: 4:45pm Total time in Labor: 9 hours Team Greens? Boy or Girl: It's a girl.
Birth Date: July 16 (EDD July 12 and I am so excited for the GOT premier on July 15 that it will probably put me in labor.) Birth Weight: 7 lbs 3 oz. Birth Time: 11:44 am Total time in Labor: 15 hours Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Boy
FTM and team green so I have no clue what to expect.
Birth Date: 8/1 (EDD 7/26) Birth Weight: 7lb, 8oz Birth Time: 6am Total time in Labor: 9 hours
FTM, expecting to go late. Talked to the doc about risks of going beyond one week late (my sister was two weeks late and I was one week late), so I'm thinking I'll get very close to being panicked about having to justify wanting to wait longer -as long as the baby is healthy of course. And then she will come out like JUST KIDDING!! Weight based a bit on me and DH. Feeling like I'm gonna have an overnight kinda situation but I'm expecting the whole vaginal labor thing will happen relatively quickly or not at all (cs)... seems like that's how it happens a lot these days
Birth Date: EDD 7/29 but measuring 2 weeks ahead at last US so I'm going with a birth date of July 21. Birth Weight: 7 lbs 12 oz Birth Time: 716pm Total time in Labor: 18 hours Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Girl
I remember @caribbeanmama knowing about a predictor chart/calculator I would like to see on that and make a guess. @Potterphile haha your funny. People swear by the raspberry labor tea to speed up labor incase you were interested
FTM so going based off of my mom's experience with me. Birth Date: 8/4 (EDD:7/28) Birth Weight: 9lb 11oz (I hope not) Birth Time: 7:56AM Total time in Labor: 30 hours Team Greens? Boy or Girl:
Me and my brothers gave my mom a hard time, all of us went late, were super long labors and 10lb (or close). I hope that whole follow your own birth isn't particularly accurate.
Birth Date:7/10 (EDD 7/15) Birth Weight: 7lb 9oz Birth Time: 10:30AM Total time in Labor: 12 hours..anticipating another OP baby because I think that's just my pelvis and that's how long the first was Team Greens? Boy or Girl: boy!
just your friendly neighborhood know it all here checking in, but unless your doctor is planning on inducing because you're "measuring ahead" (which is NOT A MEDICAL INDICATION -- if you are a FTM please think long and hard about an induction before post dates if not for a medical indication), you are no more likely to go early than measuring "on time". The measuring is based on percentiles and there are big babies and small babies, that's how a bell curve works. (Not calling you out @SquirttheTurtle! it's something I see everywhere)

Sorry for the poor man's siggy...ticker won't load regardless of how many tips I read.
Birth Date: July 23 Birth Weight: 7lb 6oz Birth Time: 11:15 am Total time in Labor: 5 hours (a girl can dream, right?!?)
My labor with my son was only 7 hours so I'm hoping that it really is close to that 5 hours! With my luck I'll have a super long labor this time around haha
Birth Date: I'm having a RCS that hasn't been scheduled yet, and won't until the end due to high risk problems. I'm thinking June 22nd though (38 weeks even) Birth Weight: my guess is 7lbs5oz Birth Time: between 7:30 and 8 am. Total time in Labor: 0 Team Greens? Boy or Girl: it's a girl.
I was in labor for 12 hours with DD1 before emergency c-section. Both my girls weighed the same (7lbs 15oz) DD1 was born at 38w even and DD2 was born at 38w5d.

Birth Date: 7/27- just thinking 7/27/17would be fun and my due date is 7/26. DD was 5 days late so I'd be happy with 1
Birth Weight: 7lbs 12oz DD was 7lbs 10oz and I just think this one will be a little bigger.
Birth Time: 11am DD was 4:05 so I'm guessing morning baby this time.
Total time in Labor: 8 hours. I'm with you @tripledaggerWed95976, a girl can dream! Total labor with DD from the start of very first contraction to birth was 14 hours, so I'd like to knock a couple hours off that in a dream world. Mostly I just don't want to push for 2 hours again.
Team Greens? Boy or Girl: No surprise here (hopefully) baby girl #2!
Birth Date: July 8th. DH thinks she will come early and SMIL thinks she'll come on the 7th (07.07.2017) I think she'll be late regardless. I was only a day late, not sure about DH. My EDD is July 5th. Birth Weight: I'm going to go with 7lbs 8oz. I was 7.5 and DH was 7.12 (does that make sense? I know there's 16oz in a lb but I've never heard of a baby being 7.12 oz lol) Birth Time: Oh my gosh I have no idea. 2:42am. Total time in Labour: My mom had long labours (as did most women back then. 24h with me and 36h with my sister) But my sister had relatively short ones. I'm going to say 10 hours give or take, from beginning to end. Team Pink - however I've been worrying lately about the possibility of them being wrong. What a nightmare that would be! (In terms of all the clothing and bedding that we've bought. Not that we'd be unhappy with a boy)
Edit: Because I typed everything out then posted and it only had the first sentence. Not sure why I can't get out of bold on mobile but it's driving me nuts. Edit #2: Finally got on a desktop to get rid of all the bold!
Birth Date: July 3 (due date is July 9, but my brothers and I were all at least a week early) Birth Weight: 7lbs 2oz Birth Time: 4am (I'd love to sail right through with a morning labor and evening delivery, but let's be real) Total Time in Labor: 8 hours, based on my mom's labor time with her first Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Girl! This much we know!
Birth Date: June 28 (Due date 7/13) Birth Weight: 8lbs 2oz Birth Time: 10:25pm Total time in Labor: 12 hours Team Green: Boy (my guess)
I am basing the birthdate on the fact that my DD was 3 1/2 weeks early because I was induced for pre-eclampsia. My current BP has been higher than baseline (130-140s/90s), I have some protein in my urine and my platelets are also low... coupled with kidney stone issues and hydronephrosis, I am assuming this baby will be early, although I am hoping I keep him/her in a little longer than my DD! The weight, I completely guessed!
Birth Date: July 3 (EDD July 7) Birth Weight: 7lbs 12oz Birth Time: 1:15 pm Total Time in Labor: 6 hrs DS was one week early and from first contraction (which was when my water broke) to delivery was exactly 6hrs. I'm hopeful for a quick-ish delivery again, but am fully expecting a looooong drawn out ordeal this time just to change things up!

FTM here with a question out of curiousity, since I see a lot of people referencing their own birth and siblings births: is there any genetic correlation at all between your own birth and then the birth of YOUR child? I didn't think that birth weight, time in labor, etc. could be considered genetic and then therefore pass onto you with the birth of your child. I understand comparing your own previous children's births but I think it's interesting some are basing their predictions on their own birth (their mom giving birth to them).
Birth Date: 6/29 Birth Weight: 8lbs 6oz Birth Time: 9:30 Total time in Labor: 0 Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Boy
Cheating a bit because I will have a Repeat C/S and we had tentatively talked about the date and obviously no labor. Weight is halfway between my 2, and we have a picture of this LO's junk so we know boy. My blood pressure is high so I hope we make it to 39 weeks, I didn't with my first.
@kat0607 my doctor told me explicitly that not only does pregnancies and deliveries vary from family but vary from even your own. Certain genetic factors may come into play but if your own pregnancies and deliveries can vary so drastically that unless there is something specific you know about (For example I am a bleeder so I hemorrhaged both times - they had blood in the OR my second time because of it), i think it's more fun to conjecture.
My mom had small babies and my son was almost 10 lbs and my daughter was 7.6 and came more than 3 weeks early which was the size of my moms biggest and overdue baby and we are built identical.
Birth Date: 7/13 (already scheduled RCS so I'm cheating) Birth Weight: 7 lb 5 oz (educated guess, in between weight from my 2 DD's) Birth Time: 7:55 am (surgery is scheduled for 7:30) Total time in Labor: 0 hours! Team Greens? Boy or Girl: This is my only shot in the dark real guess - I'm guessing GIRL!
Interesting to see a lot of first time moms guessing an early delivery. I had always assumed my first would be late (and she was....). I guess its based on a lot of the anecdotal stories of those around you.
FTM so absolutely no basis for any of these answers lol

Interesting to see a lot of first time moms guessing an early delivery. I had always assumed my first would be late (and she was....). I guess its based on a lot of the anecdotal stories of those around you.
I think it's a myth that FTMs typically deliver late. I believe the true stats show that it's pretty 50/50.
Granted take this with a grain of salt, I didn't dig too far into the methodology although it seems sound. I truly think it's closer to 50/50 too once you factor in repeat c-sections (typically scheduled at 39 weeks) but I think there is some good info in here.
@kat0607 I had read that how early or late you go from your due date does have some genetic basis in what happened to your mother. I don't remember the source so take it with a grain of salt. As far as measuring the baby's weight based on me and my husband's weight at birth, I was basing that on the fact that my husband's family has big heads (no way around that) and my kids head was measuring a bit big at the anatomy scan so I'm assuming that my little girl will be just a little bit bigger than I was (w my normal sized head at 7lb, 3oz) but not as big as the average American boy at birth (about 8lbs per the CDC) and less than my husband (8lb, 14 oz). But anyways, whether it's based in fact/science or not... it's all we have to go by
Birth Date: June 15th (38 weeks is my induction/possible c section date, which is the end of June. The average for twin pregnancy is 36 w so I am thinking it'll be 36w. My 40 wk isn't until July 13). Birth Weight: Baby a - 5lbs. Baby b - 5lbs. I hope they get to 6 each, but I think they will be on the small side. Birth Time: Hmmm. 2am . bc why wouldn't it be inconvenient? If it's a C section, then 10am. I want the first appointment of the day. Total time in Labor: 20 hours. (basing this on NOTHING). Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Boy and Girl.
Birth Date: 7/7 (due 7/13) Birth Weight: 7 lbs 15 oz Birth Time: 5 p.m. Total time in Labor: 8 hours Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Boy (known)
It makes me chuckle to myself seeing all these pre-due-date predictions (I did it too, so I'm not judging!) because we're all optimists My prediction is based partly on DS's birth and partly on pure hope He was born one day early @ 7 lbs 13 oz after 13 hours of labor start to finish. I just like the sound of 7/7/17 so that what's I guessed but we shall see what really happens!

Birth Weight: 7 lbs 15 oz
Birth Time: 5 p.m.
Total time in Labor: 8 hours
Team Greens? Boy or Girl: Boy (known)
