Re: Introductions!
Im now just over 7 weeks pregnant with our second child. EDD 11/11. Our Daughter is just about to turn 1 middle of April. Our two will be 19 months apart which is definitely creating some fears! We are keeping the pregnancy a secret until my daughter birthday. We want to tell our family after her birthday is celebrated so we don't take away from her day. It's been so hard as our families are so close to us and we see them several times a week and my symptoms are very intense this pregnancy.
I have my first OB in a couple days. Pretty nervous as I was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes at only 5 weeks with my first and I'll be 8 weeks taking my 1 hour sugar test this time. Hoping that I will pass and not have GD again!
Any mommies have babies close together? Can you tell me your stories? I'm super nervous, and also nervous about how our families will react even though this is a PP. me and my sister and 17 months apart and my husband and his brother are 21 months apart and I've already heard them say how we should wait till our first is a couple years old... Any advice or encouragement would be great!
I'm 5 weeks and a 1 day with my 4th baby, hoping for a smooth ride

I'm 34, live in Boston. FTM, expecting Nov 12th. We're extremely excited, but a little more than slightly terrified. Found out hubby got laid off from his job after we started trying but before we knew we were pregnant! And we were all lined up to buy a house. So a little stressed, but I know (hoping) it will all work out. So excited to find this group (:
I'm excited (and a little surprised!) to be here! I just tested today due to nausea over the last few days.
Im not exactly sure when i ovulated since I'm actually still breastfeeding my ten month old little guy. I had just gotten my period back two cycles before getting pregnant this time. Anticipated due date is 11/4.
My husband and I have been married for 11 years and have a 10 year old, 8 year old, and 10 month old. All boys!
im excited to get to know you all over the next few months!

I am around 7 weeks and expecting our 3rd. EDD is 11/15. I live in Indian Trail NC. My daughter is 11 years and my son is 9 years, so it's been a while! Both were born in October so I guess we like to have our kids all in the same month! This was a surprise especially since I suffer from endometriosis and struggled to get pregnant before. My first ultrasound is next week! Just have been sick and nauseous all day long! Congrats to everyone!
I'm a 24 STM, a little over 6 weeks and due around Nov. 21st (calculated it myself). No symptoms yet.. hoping it stays that way. My first appt. is on April 18th which is also my b-day. This will be mine and my SO second, we have a 6 y.o. DD
I'm 7 weeks pregnant STM from Dallas. My SO and I are overjoyed to be pregnant with our second child who will be close in age to our DS who is 15 months. Lately my days have been taken over by nausea non stop from early afternoon until bed. I did not have nausea this bad with my DS and am just taking a wild guess that this might be a girl because of this.
I had a very long and tough labor with my DS which resulted in an emergency c-section after 2 and a half days. If any of you FTM have any questions about what can happen during labor I hope I can be of help to you based on what I experienced. Looking forward to getting to know y'all these next several months!
@Roseallen112
Thanks, good to know
I am so glad I found this group! My EDD is Nov 24. This is my second pregnancy, the last one ended in m/c at 11 weeks, just 1 week after we told everyone. This time we are being a lot more hesitant about when we tell people. Even our parents had a hard time keeping the secret so we are going to wait until we get the first scan back as normal. It is so hard to wait!
We live in Ontario. DH has been away for training for the past 3 months and only home on weekends, we have 3 more months to go of living apart which is pretty difficult. When he is done training we will be relocaring so I will need to change midwives and also look for work so that I can still go on mat leave. I am currently teaching Gr 2 and 2/3.
Symptoms so far are sore breasts, bloated, mood swings, occasional dizziness, occasionAL headaches and peeing A LOT! I need to keep drinking more water but it is so hard at work because I can't leave the children unsuperished and don't want to tell my coworkers for another 2 months. I kind of love the symptoms bc it makes me feel like everything is okay with the little one.
I hope to learn a lot from your experiences!
