We call them the babies. Not very fun, I know. BF sometimes calls them his heirs, and when I'm feeling particularly ill, I call them those little jerks. We also call them little moles because mole (as in blind mole) is my pet name for BF. Honestly, when I started calling potential babies little mole, is when he really got on board to start TTC. Men. In text messages we call them two baby emojis that don't show up on TB.
My first we called peanut until we found out the gender at 22 weeks. This time we're going to be team green so we're just sticking with Baby L (our last name starts with an L) until the day comes.

@bklynchica Hahaha sometimes when I've just vomited for the nth time in a day, I will refer to it as "YOUR JERK BABY" to my husband
I sometimes call it my DH evil spawn since this pregnancy seems worst than the others. I'll call it "them" or "the twin" partly to freak him out and partly because that's automatically what comes out. I dont have one I stick with.
Too nervous to say anything yet. Maybe "the baby"? It has just been a blob and is just now forming body parts this week. On here I sometimes say LO (little one).
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
Since we're on this topic, is anybody NOT able to use the term "baby" at all yet, like in conversation? I tried, I just couldn't do it. Even after I saw the ultrasound and the heartbeat. I was totally blown away by it and I'm obsessed with looking at the pictures, but still: nope, cannot baby. It's like a weird mental block.

I've recently been able to start saying "the baby" which means it's becoming more real to me. That's what we referred to DS as for the whole pregnancy too. We also sometimes say "our little parasite" when I'm feeling particularly crappy that day. I know that makes some people reaaaaalllly mad, but we mean it mostly lovingly lol
Usually just the baby. With DS on fb I'd say nugget or little nugget. This time it looked like a peanut on our ultrasound so I've called it that a couple of times.

While I was trying for 9 months, it was "maybe baby" between me and my partner. Now that it's real, we generally go with the fruit of the week or "babie.......s". Still haven't fully wrapped my head around the ideas of twins!
Me: 28 DW: 23 Dating: 10/23/2013 Married: 6/13/2014 TTC since June 2016 BFP #1: 3/2/17 - MC 5/22/17
We started with little nugget and so far are sticking with that. The last one was our little quarter pounder... don't know how that one came about but it stuck all the way until he was born.
Our first was "Baby Biscuit" or "The Biscuit." We still call her Biscuit as often as we call her by her real name. This one we are calling "The Moonpie." Can't wait to find out whether Baby Moonpie is a boy or a girl!
Right now I'm alternating between calling it "Lil Hammy" (we may have been obsessing over the Hamilton soundtrack when the little nerd came into existence) or Stormaggeddon, Dark Lord of All.
I have been calling this one "the baby" or "teddi/teddy" because it will either be Theodor (first name) or Theodora (middle name). But I also called the last baby Teddy for the first 18 weeks bc I was convinced I was having a boy until the anatomy scan proved otherwise.
Hmm we just say the baby. But don't reference she/him in convos much at this time.
I did say out loud to an airline stewardess that I am pregnant (when asking for more gingerale during nonservice time due to nausea). And that felt weird to say...still seems kind of unreal.
We have a 7 month old, so even though he has a name, he is frequently referred to by friends and family (and ourselves) as the baby, so we can't call our next family member as "the baby". Instead we call him/her names by the fruit of the week, this week he/she was Sweet Pea or we say Mini-Baby! Hahaha
We call it the baby which is confusing because we also call our 1.5 yr old the baby. My best friend and I call it babybee like a bumblebee because sometimes they cause me pain, but when it's all said and done they bring sweetness to our lives My DH has started calling the baby by its name which is Arima. For some reason I just can't do it yet.
Right now we're just calling it "baby" since it's so early we haven't even had our first doctors appointment. Occasionally I call it "baby {name-i-want-if-its-a-girl}" because I love the name and DH doesn't - so I do it to taunt him.
We say nugget which is our nickname for our dogs. I don't feel weird about it at all. I totally wanted to do one of those announcement pictures where the dogs are posed with a sign that says "big sister duty starting Nov. 2017" but my Maltese is a little shit and cannot learn the commands "sit" and "stay" to save her live. My Sheltie would be perfect though.
We've been calling ours baby bear as well and jellybean.
My coworker and I also have a code word for when we talk about the baby at work as she is the only one at work who knows that we expecting. Our code word/nickname is pineapple haha super random but it's kind of cute!
Mostly "Baby" when talking about but also "Little One" if talking to. Occasionally "Nugget" or whatever it's this size of that week too.
