This thread is for women who are pregnant after a loss and who have a history of loss.

This thread is one huge trigger warning so if you just came to read, please protect yourself if you are not comfortable reading about loss.  This is a place where women can talk freely about their loss history.

Hey PGAL ladies, "Today you are pregnant!"  3

1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?

2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?

3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?

4. How is your SO handling everything?

5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?

It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
5+1. Today is my milestone from one of my losses. I think. It's kind of a weird blur. I am one of those people that react to trauma by eventually totally forgetting about it while walking around w a ton of anxiety. I know, super healthy LOL. I am anxious. Yesterday reached out to RE for yet another beta. And they calmed down enough to wait for my scan on the 6th. But then I had a vivid dream that my beta was 500 but it was 6 something last time, and I was crying, asking shouldn't it be higher? And the nurse shrugged and said hormones do funny things. I swear, I woke up drenched in sweat.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
2 back to back losses: Dec & Jan . Jan was a cp. Dec loss at 5 weeks or so.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
Besides my crazy dreams, I am ok! Feeling like I have some good energy to tackle my day. I have been kind of congested/coughing. Can't tell if it's something I picked up or pregnancy related since I was sick my entire tww.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He's amazing and strong as usual. I am lucky to have him!

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I desperately want to be the kind of woman that does this, but I am not and must accept that :) Kudos to  you ladies that actually follow through on this! I am just hoping that for this pregnancy I take weekly bump pics. Didn't do that w my son, and I totally regret it.

@NYTino24 Thank you so much for getting us going!!! <3 I hope you are doing well.

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?

4+5. I'm feeling cautiously excited. I have more symptoms that I did with my MC so I'm taking that as a good sign. I've told more people about it than I meant to, but if something does happen I also think it should be talked about because MC shouldn't be taboo.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
I'm not so patiently waiting for my appt on the 10th. I will be further along than I was last time before I started having issues.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
I'm feeling ok. I am constantly pushing down dark thoughts about things going wrong again, but I'm trying my best to push those away quickly.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
DH admitted he is scared to be excited. He doesn't deal with feelings like that well, it took an argument for him to even admit that. I think I made him feel guilty because I said I was working so hard at choosing to be excited.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling? 5w5d. Woke up this morning feeling the most nauseous I've felt so far which oddly also feels wonderful because it's a sign I'm definitely still pregnant.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones? I've had three very early losses and just on Sunday, this became my longest pregnancy so far. It felt good to pass that milestone but there are so many more milestones to come. I have an ultrasound scheduled for next Monday when I will be 6w4d, so I'm trying to psych myself up- we might see a heartbeat but if we don't, it doesn't mean it's over. On that note, does anyone have a retroverted uterus? I do and I've found some articles saying that it's harder to find things on early ultrasounds with one.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes? I just realized yesterday that the due date falls on Thanksgiving Day and I get a little weepy whenever I think about that. Just be thankful.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? So far so good. He's more cautious than I am but we balance each other out like that.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I really hadn't thought about it but if I do, I will wait a while to start it.

    1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
6 weeks 1 day according to ovulation. Baby measured three days ahead at last ultrasound. Crying easily lately. Students were learning about sound and I showed them a video of cochlear implants / kids hearing for the first time. Cue waterworks. The pic above also makes me cry. Can we just fast forward to birth?!

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
Feeling a little anxious as baby made it to almost 8 weeks, but was measuring 6 right before loss.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
I am struggling to hide my blump and I don't care who notices. I seem to gain weight fast at the beginning of pregnancies, but DH and I don't care as long as the baby is healthy and keeps growing.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He has been on my case about diet (which I am very good about), water, and sleep. I am winding down my second job (tutoring) as we get closer to testing. He wants me home earlier.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I am nervous to start one. My sister ordered me one that came in the middle of my loss. I took it out of the drawer the other day and have glanced at it once or twice, but can't seem to write in it until after our next two ultrasounds. I'll hopefully be past the loss milestone then and will have more time during spring break.

  • @rms924 Many people get sick during TWW because the body lowers the immune system
so it doesn't fight pregnancy. It's one of the reasons why pregnant ladies need to get vaccinated against the flu.
@ktcakes87 It's less than two weeks away! You can do it! PS I also have an ultrasound that day. We will also get our preconception karotyping results then too. I'm nervous.

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
8w4d. Not too many symptoms going on right now.
    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
Today is my milestone, because I was 8w4d when I miscarried in January.
    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
I've been feeling really anxious the last couple of days. I just keep thinking, what if I have a dead person inside my body right now? I wish I could have had betas done or something, because I have literally nothing to go on but a couple of hpts, I don't even have a LMP to know how far along I am. Thursday (my first appointment) can't come soon enough.
    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He is kind and understanding, and even though he says he finds it hard to really believe that I'm pregnant, he is the one who keeps reminding me that I'm pregnant and talking about "The Moonpie" (our nickname for the little one; DD's in the womb nickname was "The Biscuit" and we still call her Biscuit).
    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
No, but I need to be intentional about getting some bump pictures because I do a Shutterfly for my family highlighting the year every Christmas.
  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
6 + 3. Have ok days and rough days! Every day I am so so so tired. Some days the nausea is really bad and I have headaches. I am def verrrrry moody.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
My milestone will be the 1st ultrasound after I am released to my OB

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
My first ultrasound is Thursday so I am nervous/excited. We will likely tell a couple close family members after that appt so I am excited about that

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He puts up with my moodiness for sure! And I haven't cooked dinner in 2 weeks and he is great about making sure our son still gets a healthy meal.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I will. With my son I started right after the first ultrasound. I did that with my loss too, and as hard as it is to read it, I am glad I did it and I am glad that it is there.

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling? 8+5, feeling slightly less nauseous today than yesterday so maybe I'll be able to focus on work today. Exhaustion is real the last several days  :(

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones? I've passed my milestone of 6.5 weeks but still very nervous.  Hoping getting through the rest of the 1st trimester will finally calm me down.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes? OK today, trying very hard to keep my mind occupied so I don't keep stressing myself out.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? really well, we had our first US last week and I think seeing the baby and the heartbeat took away all his fears while I'm still over here waiting for something to go wrong.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I haven't really thought about it, any time I start trying to look to the future and actually having the baby I start freaking out thinking something is going to screw up this wonderful gift.

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling? 7w3d.  I'm feeling ok.  Tired and sometimes can't sleep at night.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones? 10 weeks is the milestone.  I went in for US at 10weeks and dr said heart stopped that day or day before.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
I'm ok today.  I'm trying to keep negative thoughts at bay but they creep up.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? He is strong but not sure he feels likes it real yet. Maybe after the US this Friday he will feel better

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book? Probably not.  I have one for my son but didn't put anything in there. I had good intentions but it just never happened.
  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
5 weeks, 5 days. I feel pretty normal...other than falling asleep very easily during the day and not sleeping well at night. We are traveling in the Netherlands and Belgium this week and it is rough on my energy levels. I am pretty good walking around, but if I sit down on the bus, lie on the bed for a minute or sit to watch a movie in a museum...I literally start to fall asleep. This has never happened to me before, so it's very odd.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
Had a loss in December around 4.5 weeks, so a CP. Passed my loss milestone last week.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
Other than falling asleep above, feeling pretty good. I don't really have too many symptoms other than the exhaustion and intense pelvic pressure when I wake up in the morning.

Starting to have general food aversions...like nothing is appealing to me right now, except soup. Which kind of sucks while traveling. There aren't a ton of soup options either. I do really want a sandwich (seeing lots of them) with gouda, salami, prosciutto and olives. But trying to avoid deli meats.

**TMI** Sorry, this is gross, but a little worrisome. I don't really have constipation, more like diarrhea in the mornings and that relieves the pevlic pressure. But I have noticed a few times there is blood in my stool. It's not a a few drops, it's clearly there when I wipe. It's not a ton, but it's noticeable. I plan to ask my doctor next week, but google isn't really helpful. Has anyone else dealt with this? **TMI**

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He is fine, but still a little cautiously optimistic. Since it is so early, I think he still forgets I am pregnant. I will make a comment about not being able to drink or avoiding a certain food...then he looks at me funny. I will say, "I can't because I am pregnant." Then he is like, "oh yeah."

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?

Never heard of this before...probably not.
  • @dragonfly87 It could be a hemorrhoid. You can't always feel them. Ask your OB at your next appointment. Hope you're having fun on your trip!

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
6 weeks, 3 days.  Very tired, although I am off work for spring break this week so that helps.  I have also had some pelvic/uterine(?) pains the past 3 days that have been stressing me out.  Not strong, but very localized.  I keep reading about RLP and am hoping that's all it is.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
One loss @ 11 weeks, baby stopped growing around 8 weeks.  With our loss, we had our first appt at 7+5 and saw the heartbeat.  This time, I ended up asking for my first appt. to be as late in the 8th week as possible (ended up with 8+4), so I am looking at that as my first milestone date.  I know it sounds counter-intuitive to ask for a later appt after a loss, but the later I see the heartbeat, the more confident I will feel that things are good.  We will do another US at 12 weeks, and that will be the second milestone since I started bleeding at 11 weeks last time.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
I am feeling ok today, trying to stay calm and positive.  Trying to keep busy around the house since I don't have work as a distraction this week.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He is doing fine, but feeling cautious.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I am taking pictures every 2 weeks, not sure what I'll do with them yet.  Right now they are just hanging out on my phone.  Maybe I will do a photo book with the bump and US pics.

  • @rms924 FX the next week goes quickly for you so you can get some good reassurance at your appt.  I was also sick during my TWW as well as the next week or so, it does make it hard to know what is pregnancy-related.

@ktcakes87 I totally agree that MC shouldn't be taboo, and sometimes it drives me crazy that we told so few people.

@Cort1021 what an awesome due date!

@NYTino24 I am with you on the crying easily.  I literally teared up while watching Dancing With the Stars last night.  More than once!!

@gipfish, @jdw0325 and @Mack2342 only a few days until your appts!  Not long to wait!

@mparm91 glad you passed your milestone and got to see your little one's HB on US!

@dragonfly87 sounds like you are having a busy week!  I am sure traveling is tiring right now, but I hope you are enjoying your trip!

  • @NYTino24 I never thought about that but it makes sense. So this is still lingering. I am hoping I feel better soon!

@liz4382 I totally understand why you'd want the latest possible u/s. is it possible to request additional u/s because of your history? I'm doing 6+4 and then hoping to do 8, 10, 12 . Just to make sure things are progressing.

Big hugs to all. Thinking of all you ladies.

It's worth it. My husband is complaining about all the heathcare bills already hahaha but it's worth peace of mind.

I'm really struggling since last time around I was fatigued and had ms by now and in this pregnancy, I'm feeling fine. Energetic even. It's so nerve wracking- i  wish i had symptoms even though they are  tough but reassuring. When did you guys feel symptoms ?

  • @rms924 don't worry about the symptoms.  5+1 is still early, plus many women have very few symptoms and end up with healthy babies.  Think about all the ladies who don't even realize they are pregnant until 6 weeks or later!

  • 1. 7 weeks by LMP, 6+5 by O date.

    2. MC#1 at 7 weeks in Dec. 15. MC#2 was a BO discovered at 7+3 in Mar. 16. MC at what should have been 10 wks was in Apr. 16. Benched for testing and emotional health for 6 months after that.

    3. Yesterday was a great day. We had our first scan at the RE's office. Measuring right on track with a HB of 133. We've never had a good ultrasound, so seeing the flicker of the HB was amazing. H and I both cried. Today, though, PGAL brain is back in full force because my boobs are a lot less sore. I have to keep reminding myself that we had three great betas and a great scan yesterday. I keep telling myself that the scan tells me more about the health of the pregnancy than any symptoms could. It's only kind of keeping my anxiety at bay though. I keep feeling up my own boobs at work.... I hope nobody swings by my cube!!

    4. He's my rock. He keeps a lot of things internalized and won't talk much about his fears unless I bring it up. He's amazing at trying to ease my anxiety. He was so incredibly happy to see the baby yesterday. Love that man so much.

    5. Not yet. That falls under the category of a "jinx" in my head. I'm still playing headgames with myself about not getting attached.  I even took yesterday off work completely in case the US didn't go well. My head is a roller coaster of emotions right now.
  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling? 6w2d according to LMP, 5w4d based on O

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
We had our loss at 8w (measuring at 5.5w).  If I can make it 10w, I'll be super excited and it'll feel more real. After I get my cerclage at 12w (I have a bicornuate uterus), I'll feel MUCH better about the pregnancy.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?  Feeling ok. So very tired. Not sleeping through the night and it sucks so bad. That's probably the thing I'm struggling with the most.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? He's being pretty even-keeled. He's cautiously optimistic this time around - he said he'll feel a lot better after our appointment tomorrow.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I started one last time, and it was pretty painful to stop.  I bullet journal so I imagine I may just add some pregnancy/baby pages to my bullet journal and take bump pics.
  • @Cort1021 I have a tilted uterus and with my DD they didn't have any issues at my 8 week ultra sound.  They did struggle to view one of my ovaries but eventually got a glimpse of it.

    1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?  5+6.  I'm feeling good for the most part.  Sometimes my boobs are 'sore' in the evening.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?  Early miscarriage last month and I passed the milestone last week.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?  Today I'm stressed, I've had a little spotting and it makes me nervous.  I struggle with enjoying this pregnancy right now and I hope my appointment on Thursday will help.  I'm suppose to be getting an early ultra sound.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?  He doesn't say anything.  He had a hard time getting excited until DD was here so I don't expect anything right now.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I started one with DD and it's halfway finished but all the pictures and things that need to be in it are ready.  I just need the time.   With that said I plan to do one with this pregnancy as well but I hope to stay on top of it more.
  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling? 7w6d. Nauseated on and off through the day. Exhausted. Otherwise good.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones? 22w6d is my loss milestone, and 30w4d is DS's preemie milestone. Hoping to make it to 36 weeks this time.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes? A bit frustrated but good. I had my ultrasound yesterday and my OB appt today, and everything looks great. My doctor is thrilled. But the insurance company is still denying the Lovenox, which is so frustrating. My doc is referring me to an MFM who hopefully can think of something to get it approved. If I knew it would be an issue I don't know if we would have started trying yet... ugh.

    4. How is your SO handling everything? Pretty good. He's started actually acknowledging that he's excited and loves the little peanut already, but he's scared. I am too.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I'm not sure. I have a scrapbook from my first pregnancy, and the start of one for DS, so I probably should. I'm just so tired right now lol

  • @RiverSong15. I'm excited we are here!  I'm so glad your US went well and you heard the heart beat.  It's so amazing.  I was thinking of taking Friday off too like you in case it did not go well.  FX I don't need too!
  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
    5 weeks 1 day

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
MC at 6 weeks. I'm patiently waiting to get past next Tuesday, so I can feel a little less anxious.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
Pollen has descended upon my state, and allergies are kicking my butt. I'm so ready to feel better. I'm enjoying the pregnancy symptoms, so far-- even the constant hunger, exhaustion and sore boobs. I can't wait for my first appointment Thursday.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He's handling things well. I appreciate his support and optimism. I wasn't sure how he would respond, since last time things were so different.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
I'm on the fence about it. I started one for DD after my 10 week ultrasound. I never got that far during the last pregnancy.
  • @RiverSong15 *TMI* I've also struggled w constipation. This is why I can't give up my one cup of coffee- apparently the caffeine stimulates my "lazy bowe@Liz4444

I am so happy your u/s went well. What a relief. Just enjoy that for the moment.

    @liz4382 how are you feeling?

FTM, my bumping has been relegated to early mornings before work. I'm dealing w personnel issues so it's been taking every bit of me during the day. But that helps to keep the anxiety at bay until I get home and settled back in.

I am wishing all of you ladies a good day. Today we are pregnant.

  • Lots of appointments this week! FX and thinking about all of you ladies!  :)
  • A little more spotting this morning so I called my doctor instead of waiting to talk to him tomorrow.  He had me go in for a blood draw just to check HCG levels to make sure things are progressing normally.  So now I sit here and wait.  I feel like I'm in the same boat again as last time and sitting in limbo is draining me.
  • @rms924 I am feeling pretty good today, thanks for asking!  I still had a couple of twinges this morning, but they are much less frequent now than they were on Sun/Mon, so I am assuming that is a good thing.  The anxiety is always there, but I am feeling much more confident now that they were some sort of growing pain and nothing to worry about.

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
8 weeks tomorrow. I'm feeling hopeful but I'm so scared of what could happen. I know I'll feel better after my ultrasound tomorrow if everything's okay.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
Well my loss was about 4 years ago, I suffered from fetal demise. I was about 6 months along but found out my pregnancy was lost at 4 months. It took about 2 months until my body started labor.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
I'm feeling good except that my symptoms aren't as strong as they used to be, but I'm trying to stay positive. My SIL is pregnant too (about 6 weeks) and I try to talk to her about my concerns about MC and she is so carefree and says "oh were healthy, we don't need to worry about that". she doesn't know about the loss.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?
He is very supportive. He knows that I'm worried but he keeps reassuring me that everything will be okay no matter what happens.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
    I think that's a good idea. I didn't think about this before.
  • I'm sorry, @mispanda. Hopefully the beta numbers will look great for you. There are so many things that can cause spotting - as long as your numbers look good and you're not cramping, try not to worry.

  • FX for good numbers @mispanda
  • @mispanda I hope your numbers are good.  Try to stay positive--there could be lots of reasons for spotting.  Could they do an US?

    1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling?
    8 weeks.  Super nauseated.
    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?
Currently past 1 loss milestone.  2 to go.  Not feeling super confident as my first appointment is not until next week.  I think I will start to feel better after that.
    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?
Have not kept anything down today.  Simultaneously hungry and not wanting to throw up more.
    4. How is your SO handling everything?
    Amazing.  He is my rock.
    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?
No.  I did "The Belly Book" for my first pregnancy and put u/s pictures and everything in it.  That pregnancy resulted in a m/c.  I have the book stored away because I could not bear to get rid of it, but every time I think about starting one, I just can't.  I do think they are nice though.  :)  I do a particular baby book (Ruby Love) for each child and will order another one for this baby assuming all goes well.  It has a pregnancy section in it, and that has been enough for me so far.
I am a hobbyist photographer though, and am doing a personal photography project of documenting my emotional state throughout this pregnancy through a series of self portraits, so perhaps as this pregnancy goes on I will end up with some I would eventually want to share with this LO.

  • @kissthesky32 and @RiverSong15  thanks ladies!
@liz4382 I'm suppose to get an ultrasound tomorrow.  Hopefully with my beta and US things can be ruled out.

  • 1. How far along are you today?  How are you feeling? 8+2. Overall ok. Saturday I got sick in the car (not fun) but I started to take my prenatal at night and even though the nausea is still there it isn't as bad as before. I'm exhausted but find myself not sleeping through the night and I cannot seem to nap for the life of me unless it's the weekend and my husband is home to help with DD. I am also starving and have food aversions to almost everything healthy.

    2. Share any part of your loss history you feel comfortable sharing.  What are your loss milestones?

We had a confirmed early miscarriage 4+2 in August (the doctor never mentioned anything about a chemical but the fact hcg was already at a 4 kind of makes me wonder).

We had an ectopic in September (I was somewhere between 4.5/6 weeks) confirmed by blood work and ultrasound in the ER.

    3. How are you feeling today?  Struggles?  Successes?

Today I'm kind of a mess. I still have some symptoms but they are not as intense as they have been. I'm trying to tell myself that it's just my hormones leveling out already but I cannot help but wonder even though I'm not cramping or bleeding is the heart still beating.

I would say a big success is I finally got a bathroom, the living room and kitchen cleaned for the first time in four weeks today. But I will say I had to take a lot of breaks and I am beat already. Only 2 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and the family room to go Haha.

    4. How is your SO handling everything?

He is pretty amazing. Monday night I had extreme nausea after dinner because I was starving yet couldn't stomach anything. He rushed downstairs and made me the only thing I wanted - a Pancake.

    5. GTKY: Will you be starting a pregnancy baby book?

I am using this app and discussions for now but once the baby is born we will get one and I will start putting everything in it.

@rms94 My symptoms aren't that strong either, but so far, so good. My boobs get more sore as the day goes, but start off decent. I have some bloating and constipation with exhaustion at times, but no nausea. Heartburn and reflux come and go, but I had that before pregnancy. I've come to realize that no amount of worrying will change the outcome.
@RiverSong15 Glad you got a heartbeat count!
@hezzer78 Hope your appointment went well!
@mispanda I had a tiny bit of spotting yesterday too. I think it was from too many BMs.
@kshref The Belly Book is what my sister got me. If I pass my loss milestone, I will fill it out.
@katiesheab I'm sorry she doesn't understand. Does the rest of the family know

  • @NYTino24 Thank you for your share. I am kind of freaking out when I have time to stop and think about it. This past week has been hectic at work and I am thankful for it but when I have a moment I literally freak out. I have no symptoms. Honestly, not even breast tenderness. I have the usual amount of energy, if not more. I feel like the only reassurance I have that something is up is that my temp is above the coverline.

@katiesheab I think it's hard for people to get early pregnancy anxiety unless : 1. they've gone through prior loss 2. understand anything about the biology of early pregnancy 3. understand anything about statistics. I freaked myself out with my first pregnancy with far too much research. It's ok. This community is amazing <3 you will find a ton of support here.

@NYTino24 How are you doing this week? I know that this is a big week for you. Big hugs. I am sorry if I missed it, when is your u/s? PS. being emotional is totally a symptom :)

@mispanda good luck on your u/s today. Based on my research (not that I am a dr!) but spotting is fairly common and hopefully u/s and beta will rule out any issues and your little bean is doing great.

  • @rms94 Next week is the big week. Two ultrasounds and a separate appointment! I was getting nervous, but fatigue came back to slam me the last two days. My boobs don't hurt a ton, but man have they gotten bigger. Talk about pepperoni nipples! Hahaha... I will post the chart with the probability of NOT miscarrying next week. I know I posted the link to it somewhere last week. I think it's on the symptoms thread.

  • Sorry I'm late to the game... I've been a bit anxious lately so I'm hanging back a bit. I love this check in though, it's good to see how every one is doing.

    1. 6w5d. Feeling sick and tired. I haven't thrown up yet but feeling nauseous every day and it is getting worse. Also I can sleep over 8 hours a night and still need a nap and feel terrible! It's great though, I'm thankful for every symptom at this point. Also, my boobs are already bigger.

    2. MMC in December 2016. 12 weeks along baby only measuring 8 with no heartbeat.

    3. Okay. Not doing as well as I was in the last couple of weeks. Had a bad weekend and now I'm just refusing to think any further in the future. I'm pregnant right now and I'm holding into that. Also I am going to have to go for an ultrasound in two weeks and I'm super nervous because it will be right around when my last baby stopped growing. If all is well I will feel so relieved but I'm going to be nervous going and getting it done.

    4. DH is great, he is excited but I also don't think it has sunken in yet. He's been so good and supportive though, I'm lucky.

    5. Yes... right after my loss I bought one in the hope that I would get pregnant again. So I will be filling that one out.
