Can we please get something straight here? If we are driving down the road, during rush hour and our little 1 lane road suddenly becomes 2 lanes...if there is a sign there that says "right lane must turn right" - THE RIGHT LANE MUST TURN RIGHT.
I don't CARE if the lane going straight is super backed up. It's super backed up because it is RUSH HOUR. Aka, everyone is trying to get the same place at the same time.
It means we wait our turn.
It does NOT mean we fly through in the right lane and cut in front of people at the front (who, by that time, have probably been sitting there for 15 minutes trying to get to the red light).
It does NOT mean we fly through in the right lane and then sit with your left blinker on like "whoopsy" - no you turn right and figure out a way to get back to where you need to be.

My TW today is DH. Our 3 year old has really been testing us lately with her behavior and we agreed to be consistent with how we handle it, especially the tantrums she throws when she doesn't get her way. Well I find out last night that he has just been giving in to her when I am at work so he doesn't have to deal with the tantrums. Thanks dude, I enjoy having her scream for half an hour when I said no to something he says yes to. He doesn't get that we are sending her mixed signals about her behavior. Hopefully we can find some quiet time soon to talk about this so he can see my point of view.
similarly i live in MA land of roads that do not make sense. we have these two lanes that merge together and you go every other car to keep traffic moving. some teenager was trying to box me out. and it was immediately backing up traffic. so my car was bigger so i just went over. which is very unlike me. but i was so annoyed. i may have flipped her off when she beeped at me.
Does my comfy recliner count?! I was about to start some dishes and I made the mistake of sitting down. Now I don't want to get back up. I just want to kick back and take a nap lol. I'm seriously about to force myself into the kitchen though. Boo!
@carries2018@natleilynn Driving in FL has convinced me that like 60% of the people here are idiots. And you really notice it when you're pregnant! And, I imagine, when you have LOs in the car. Be an ass to me all you want, I can take it, but do NOT endanger my child with your douchebaggery impatience.
My TW today is my RE's office's billing dept. It's hard to be too upset at them, because they got me KU, but they screwed up our bills this year so badly. They overbilled us by over $800, which is fine because we're getting a nice unexpected check, but has translated into so much headache for me with my FSA, which somehow found out and is now demanding over $1000 of reimbursement. WTF? And to make it all more fun, DH broke our scanner and is being cranky about calling the printer company to figure out how to fix it. "It takes forever to sit on the phone with them" well babe, I've spent HOURS trying to figure out OUR medical bills so pardon me if I don't feel bad for you taking 20 mins to call the printer company.
Whew, @natleilynn you're right about feeling better!

Update: I went out to run some errands and hopefully get away from my own bad temper and my annoyance at DH. I come home to a fixed printer and a clean home. Husbanding for the win
Maybe I am the TW. I am watching my friends kids for a few hours next week, and dreading it. The parents do not discipline at all (like, the 5 year old bites me if he doesn't get his way). Last time he did that, I sat him down and told him that hurt, and was not ok. The mom immediately picked him up and coddled him, apologized to him, and then gave him her chicken nuggets (he bit me because his nuggets were grilled, and mine were fried). It drives me insane, because the parents think they are doing the most amazing job, and teaching their kids to be different. When we go out to eat with them, the 5 year old yells at everyone to shut up because he doesn't want to hear their annoying voices anymore. Last time he did that(and the parents sat passively) I told him that was not nice, and needed to be respectful to the other people in the restaurant. He had a meltdown, and both parents apologized to him because he was "just speaking his mind"...He has anger issues, and they teach him to have punching sessions when he starts stressing out. He gets free roam to punch someone in the stomach, and it horrifies me. He punched DH in the balls after one of those punching sessions(not with DH), and the parents thought it was cute and funny. The mom has a phd in google, so she thinks she is an expert at everything. I just can't...I need to find a way to get out of this next week. I just felt bad because no one will babysit. We don't let the kids get away with any of this when we watch them, but it is draining because all my energy is drained afterwards. After typing this, I am so not the TW...they are.

Headaches are a TW. They're caffeine withdrawl headaches (thanks to the rx migraine med my OB pretty much forced on me as my only option), but soda doesn't have enough to kick it, so I'm taking stupid excedrin every freaking day and I hate it.
@ChocolateIsLife You are so NOT the TW. Omg that poor kid. He's going to have so much trouble in life. I want to slap those parents for you! Or get their son to punch them in the stomach!
@ChocolateIsLife You are damned right they are the TW. Good lord.

@ChocolateIsLife Oh. Wow. They are definitely the TW! I don't know what to tell you other than good luck! I would be dreading it too. I feel bad for the kid, he has no direction.
@bluejeanbabi05 and @jessafishy@soprano19@curlyq423 thank you guys for the validation that I am not crazy. It has honestly put a dent in our relationship with them, because we used to have get together a all the time, but he is so out of control that we can't. I can't have him at our house because he hurts our animals, and even though our dogs are calm, I do not want to put them in a situation of harm, or god forbid that they react. the 5 year old will definitely have issues once he starts school, and he is not socialized with other children for the most part. It just makes me sad and angry.

OH! We don't ever try and step in the way and criticize their parenting, but the one time DH said anything to them, they got super defensive and said we weren't parents so we didn't know. Yes, I'm not a parent. Thanks for pointing that out. We are however, human beings. I don't need to be a parent to know that teaching a 5 year old to punch people in the stomach when he is angry is wrong.

@ChocolateIsLife I have zero tolerance for people who can't be bothered to actually parent their kids. They use the excuse that they use a different approach, but really, it's just a massive cop out to having to do the hard work that parenting requires. And they're prime examples of people who should never procreate.
"Teaching them to be different"....wtaf does that mean?? Teaching them to be total assholes instead of kind and caring people? Clearly it's working out well
@ChocolateIsLife wow how scary that someone thinks it's ok to parent that way. I never want to judge someone's parenting styles, but when their kid is hurting someone, that's not okay. I would make it clear to the parents that you would love to help, but due to his past behavior at your home, you are unable to have him over. End of story. If more people speak up about it, maybe they will get the picture that what they let him do is not okay. I feel bad for the child because it sounds like he wasn't taught any better. Good luck with whatever your decision is!
I've got another one. Windows 10. I can't handle when it decides to update itself because then my computer freezes and is a pita to get back up. I only use this computer for work, so whenever something is wrong with it, I get super stressed out since I have deadlines to keep and never enough time to deal with the bs
*sigh* I thought I would make it out alive today... but I didn't make it.
I told one of my superiors today at work because I need her support and her back up for October. I will also need some help in the interim...
Well. Guess who told the office gossip that I am KU? Yep. My superior. After I explicitly told her I would be waiting to tell my boss first next week... I'm disappointed. I truly thought that she could keep it together... Now I have the task of denying all of it until my boss gets back in town.
I was out shopping yesterday and the sales assistant helped me get a (non-maternty) dress for later on when i have a 6 month bump. She exclaimed that I didn't look pregnant, and I said thanks but I feel bloated. She looks more carefully at me and then says, "Well maybe it looks like you ate too much food".
@ChocolateIsLife Hubby's siblings use to tell him this all the time. Fast forward seven years with four kids, he was right. Now we get it's different with boys. Ummm... yeah our son is different and he is three, still teaching him manners, taking care of your stuff and how to behave. It isn't that different. You throw a blow we got to go. You start to cry we say goodbye. You do not fight or it's goodnight. You hear no, it means no. The difference is our kids have consequences.
My coworker (I'm a part time teacher) who, yesterday, so kindly offered to help a student after school, then upon realizing she had a meeting, told him I would stay. UHM. NO. I'm pregnant and have a 14 month old to get home to...
