When I run the dishwasher, I let it go through a dry cycle but then crack the dishwasher door open and use it as an oversized drying rack. Lol. No water marks.
I got Seventh Generation dishwasher detergent and I wonder if it's not as effective? I'm trying a high heat cycle with Cascade right now
Do you use a rinse aid? That might solve the problem, we have hard water and if I run out of the rinse aid I get spots on everything and I've never used the dry cycle. I hand wash all our bottles and only sterile them after Charlotte has been sick. Good luck!
This was a high temp wash with Cascade and rinse aid, cracking the door open once it was finished to let air dry.
It looks worse than when it went in!
Weird, does your glasswear look like this too or just the bottles?
We do have some water spots on our glasses but since it's for us it doesn't bother me unless we have company.
I think I may go back to handwashing but skip the sterilizing step as @rlbrooks84 does.
I just hand wash them. I feel more comfortable that way. I don't sterilize though. Only 3 more months of bottle washing around here anyway, we'll ditch the bottle pretty soon after she's one

Good luck. My LO hates his sippy cup and the doctor told us to just take his bottle away at 1. Cold turkey.
I guess I should consider ourselves lucky. I trained Preston to use a regular straw (all the baby straws are so hard to drink through). What we didn't expect was sudden bottle refusal. We went to the movies on Saturday and left Preston with my mom and he flat out refused the bottle. It had been almost a month since he has used one so we had no warning that he wouldn't want it. No big deal cause he super well established on solids but my mom had to idea to out the milk in his cup and he drank it!

This is my third kid, so I've taken bottles away from kids twice before. I have my methods
Aaaand the battle with sippy cup continues. He's taking the large sippy cup with spout, but in small drinks (must be too much coming out at once). He also likes the handles and bites them, then shakes and bangs it around. If we take it away, he cries. *sigh*. He's only taking the sippy cup if we hold it to his mouth. Don't know if that's a good thing or bad. We are determined to remove the bottle at 1. He turns 10 months this Sunday.
