My bitch today is that I have my first stupid glucose test. I know the drink will make me feel horrible, but I've been here since 7:45 (as directed) and still haven't been given my drink.

Mine always makes me feel like crap too. I hope I pass. I really don't want to do the 3 hour one
I have a horrible migraine today but a major project due at work that I'm waiting on other people for the final steps. I want to be home in bed but here I am... If the others get their shot together and we finish at a reasonable time, I'm going home
@DPandMB I hear you, I had mine this morning too. I won't get results for 3-5 days, and I really want to pass just to show the nurse that being overweight doesn't guarantee GD. She's been an asshat about implying it's a done deal bc of my weight. I'm done seeing her now, though, so yay for that!
@DPandMB nooo!! That sucks I'm sorry I hope it was just a fluke and you pass your 3 hour. I know a handful of people who have failed the 1 hour and passed the 3 hour! Fingers crossed for you and hugs your way.
Why is it that places of businesses can't keep a normal temperature inside when the weather changes? "Oh, it's going to be 76 today? We should crank the air down to 60! It's not cold enough in here unless there is condensation on the windows and you need a snowsuit to feel comfy!" Those were my sarcastic quotes. I should not have to keep my sweaters out all year just to go inside somewhere in the summer.
This may actually be an UO. But I am ALWAYS cold, which is why I enjoy summer. Unless you have to go inside anywhere in the summer and the air is set on "frigid". Also, I'm a tad crabby today.
I am a web developer, and I am about to lose control of myself. I cannot stand the fact that designers take 6 months to lay out a web design, then expect you to code it in a week. I am currently working 50-60 hours per week and can't meet my clients demands and am about to tell everyone to eff off and learn to code themselves. Unfortunately we need the money too badly for me to do that, which is another thing I'm bitchy about today.
I failed the 1 hour miserably with DD but passed the 3 hour with flying colors. The 1 hour is apparently really easy to fail. It sucks to have to take them both, but failing the 1 hour doesn't necessarily mean you have GD.
My MIL has already started rubbing my belly and exclaiming over my "bump" which is barely existent and probably more due to excess carbs and lack of exercise than actual baby bump
This is more of an UO, but I will forget by Thursday. I get so annoyed by TimeHop on FB. "That's a cute picture of your kid from a year ago, and I remember because I liked it a year ago." Every once in a blue moon to post a timehop of a big event or something is fine. Daily timehop is annoying AF.

Same. Don't lose hope @DPandMB There's a much better chance of you passing the 3 hr than failing it.
Everyone under the sun has decided to comment on any slight changes taking place with my stomach. It is so annoying. I am of the belief that it's not okay to comment on a woman's size, pregnant or otherwise, unless she solicits your opinion on the matter.
I usually wake up in the morning with a relatively flat belly. Then I eat and I expand like the Goodyear blimp lol. When everyone comments on my "baby bump" I just want to tell them what they are really ooh-ing and ahhh-ing over is my digesting food and gas.
I will be excited to have a true true BabyBump here soon though!!

Haha. I think timehops can be super silly sometimes. Though I must say I enjoy seeing how much my LO has changed over time. Time flies by so quickly!
My BF today is about work. I hate when people call with a complaint and are rude/nasty/hateful and will not provide any information so you can help resolve their issue. Not sure why people think it's ok to call and just yell at people and be nasty. IMO that really never helps resolve an issue.
Thank all of you ladies for your kind words and support. It really means a lot. DH was supportive, but my family was less than supportive. Acted like it was my fault, so it really makes me feel much better. I really do love you ladies.

Are you serious?! That's not okay. In no way shape or form is that your fault. I really hope you just crush your 3 hour test. I hope they feel like a-holes for making you feel bad about something you can't control. More big squishy hugs to you.
Mine is a general body/stomach BF and then a work BF. I have been feeling a little queasy for the last couple of hours. I am now suddenly STARVING but I have a work assignment that must be started 5 minutes from now. AND I'm 90% sure the person before me left me a huge load of work to accomplish (she's nice enough but habitually lazy). Which means I am not going to get to eat for at least another 2 hours. And I'm still nauseated.
They really do. @wyomama0427 they really were making me feel like sh*t. We have a group chat, so I told them in the chat and they were like, well "you need to eat less carbs and no sugar". "Hard Work = Good Numbers". Like nope, that isn't always true for Pregnancy. The placenta produces extra hormones that increases the sugar level and makes you insulin resistant. Its ok though. DH got me a Grilled Chicken salad that I have been craving and you ladies helped make me feel much better. So my family can just go eat their sugar and carbs and be quiet.
@DPandMB so sorry about ur failed test and ur unsupportive fam. Focus on the support ur DH gives u, its really all that matters.
@Msashley2010 im excited to get the real bump 2 instead of that fluctuating after food thing lol
my bitch today : i found out my neighboors deal drugs. all sorts. i ve had doubts for a while but got my confirmation yesterday. im fuuuurious, wanna call the cops on them but dont want them to know its us in case police doesnt do ish

Pretty sure skinny people get GD too. Those comments from your family are only quasi helpful if you actually end up with GD. How about just being supportive and let the medical professionals tell you how to eat, k fam?
@DPandMB the montreal police actually advertise a number where u can do it anonymously but when u dial it, there is nothing. no tone no nothing lol. I hate this city, they re just such a farce. Last week while driving on my way home, had just dropped hubby at work, a guy followed me ( didnt notice him until ) I got out of my car, he pulled upand threw his coffee and muffin at me screaming i cant drive ... i actually drive like a men, and drive a 2 doors sports car -c230- alot of them are annoyed by it i got back in my car followed him to get his plates and went straight to police ... they treated me like i was the perp !!! i hate dealing with this citys police i went to the owner of the place (yup we still live in an apt..still gathering money to buy a house next yr hopefully) and although hes pissed, doesnt look like hes about to do much about our issue !
@daphnemoon1 i wouldnt know, that s just what ive been told multiple times, by men. i describe it more by driving like someone whos learned to drive in africa lol
@sayasa you probably did mean it that way, but when you say to a group full of women that you "actually drive that a man", it implies that all women (except you) are bad drivers. It's offensive.
@DaphneMoon1 all i meant was that i drive more carelessly, like men than safely like women. on the opposite it wasnt meant to be offensive, you should ve taken it as a compliment.

No BF yet today, but it's still early.

Why should this be any different for pregnant women?
