Going to meet my new nephew today! He was born on Monday. Then my mom is going to watch DS so we can get a date night. I told DH this means Beauty and the Beast. ☺
FYI Motherhood is having a sale on all their sale items. Its an extra 25% off. I got nursing tanks for 11! PLUS if you use the code MARCH50 you can take 50% one regularly priced item.
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
DH and I are doing the fast track birthing class alll day today. Goes from 8:30 to 4:30... which seems long to me, but I'm a FTM so what do I know. So nervous/curious what we will do there all day.
DS slept until 7am (yay). My friend from college is coming over to spend the night with her two children. Then heading to an aquarium tomorrow with all the kids. DH is working nights, so a busy, exhausting, hopefully fun weekend.

@Stankonia2014 I was just pursuing the baby/kids section at target last night. They have some really cute dresses! They also have little matching bunny purses you know in case your littles need to carry something with them or just because they're cute!
My sister and I went to a Dierks Bentley concert last night, it was amazing and I ate so much fried dough and a bbq baked potato the size of my head. Today my neighbors are having a super small get together for me to celebrate the baby. THEN this afternoon is my parents' last day here visiting, so we're doing a seafood boil in the backyard. It just doesn't seem as exciting since I can't have a couple cold beers to wash it all down.
It's rainy and chilly here, so I'm feeling kind of blah. It would be a good day to go do indoor stuff at the zoo, but DH scheduled both his dentist appointment and haircut this morning, and has Korean language class all afternoon. I don't feel like taking DS out myself, so trying to plan some fun indoor things to do. I also went through DS' closet to finalize his Easter outfit and make sure the clothes I bought a month ago will fit. I think I'm going to have to order his bow tie off of Etsy though. It's going to be too hard to find the right shade of grey chambray in stores here.
I had my 10k this morning. And I completely missed the port-o-potties on the route. I was pleading for my bladder to hold on for dear life at the end and thankfully she was compliant. I ran past my husband and son when I finished because I was thisclose to peeing my pants.
I didn't get up one time to pee last night. I slept through entire night and got out of bed after 10. I can't remember last time I did this. However, I'm still tired. Have to clean bathrooms, maybe kitchen floor. Supposed to get in 70s today. Want to go for a walk. Later we're going to my friends for a steak dinner. Tomorrow I have a baby shower. Woohoo to no cooking this weekend!
@MotherofDragons Congrats on your race and not peeing yourself! Double win!
Today begins our spree of weddings over the next several weeks. I have to run around this morning trying to get shoes and fix the caterpillars on my face and then I'll be relaxing until it's time to get ready.

Had a mommy son breakfast date this morning because DH is working OT. We are having dinner with the inlaws tonight. Tomorrow is tax day... yuck! Last year we owed $3K so praying a little better this year.
Last night my aunt, uncle, cousins and grandparents came over for dinner and apparently it was a mini baby shower! My aunt and cousins won't be at my actual shower since they live out here in AZ so it was nice! Today we are headed to Sedona to pick up DH from his parents house and we are all going to lunch. Then back to WI and the real world tomorrow morning
@Mother0fDragons I must give you the biggest internet high five! Good for you and still being able to run/jog. I tried to run through the Target parking lot last night because it was pouring rain. 1. I thought I was gonna die. 2. My belly felt like it needed a sports bra for support.
We had breakfast with my MIL, BIL his wife and my husbands grandparents. My kids did good until the end, my daughter spilled dry cereal and instead of cleaning it my son hopped from piece to piece crushing it. I was so embarrassed. I was literally on my knees trying to pick up the pieces he missed. Definitely felt the judgement by the snowbirds at the restaurant.
Tomorrow I am trying to convince my husband to go to the aquarium or we may do the beach. I need to figure out cleaning time and meal prep at some point too.

I love hearing about everyone's plans. @MotherofDragons your ability to keep running is impressive. @jennas312 I cannt remmeber the last time I didn't get up to pee at least once during the night. That sounds amazing. @CurlyMommy416 Concerts just aren't quite the same without beer!!
I had a not so great start to the weekeend. After meeting with a pediatrician group yesterday I realized that my plans to travel to my best friend's wedding a month after my due date would really be putting LO at risk before getting her vaccines and with a brand new immune system, so I had to back out of her wedding. I felt terrible, but she took it better than I expected which I appreciate. I'm just so sad that I won't be there for her and be able to see her get married and celebrate. I know it was the right decision though. THEN my boss called and told me they are changing my assignment around to something they had asked me about and I told them I didn't want. I'll be fine with it overall, it was just a bummer. And this morning I had to be at a 7am CPR class. Sooooo on the agenda for today is shoppng for some baby clothes we really don't need and eating a cookie dough blizzard. Sorry for the rant, I just needed to vent.
Dh is at a meeting all day today and it is pouring rain, so dd and i are just hanging out around the house trying to get some stuff done. I cleaned out the last of the junk that was piled in the nursery and moved a cube organizer thing in there that was in dds closet. Now dd is in her crib not napping and I am eating leftover buffalo chicken dip from a party we went to last night. Yummmm.
Sounds like everyone has a busy weekend! We are cleaning today because my parents are coming in tonight. We are going to the zoo tomorrow for DD's 3rd birthday and then having a small get together at the house for cake and presents.
I would like to update. I am still in my pajamas and haven't cleaned a thing! I did my lesson plans and snacked all day. I'm going to steam mop and vacuum and say eff cleaning the bathrooms, cause I hate it. I feel like such a bum, but whatever!
@FSUNole31 your post made me laugh ..sorry. I am also JEALOUS that you live somewhere where going to the beach in March is possible! I need to move somewhere warm.
DD had swim class this AM following by nap time in the car while the Mr and I took turns doing some shopping. The dog and i have obedience class this afternoon. It will be a toss up for worst behavior between he and i. I'm still salty after yesterday!!
Tomorrow is weed-pulling and meal-prepping all day.
I wish we we were doing something FUN but so guess avoiding an HOA ticket and not needing to cook this week after work will be worth it.
Also, got my ER bill for my fall down the stairs for last month... that was $1500 I wasn't budgeting. UGH!!!!

Do they have any bathing suits in this?
Stuck in the box: I'm assuming. I didn't look.

Had our second prenatal class this morning. It was separated for the first hour with dads in a separate room. I could tell as soon as we all rejoined that DH was not impressed, and sure enough he said most of it was stupid questions about stuff he already knew. He's been pretty involved in everything so far so I'm not really surpised, but I was hoping he'd find some value to it since he's already unhappy with our doula and midwives, and generally really stressed about everything to do with baby.
We have a friend's birthday party to head out to in about half an hour, and then tomorrow we are going to have our car looked at by our mechanic friend, and then stay afterwards to play some board games and have dinner.
We continue to be in the process of moving. My DD went to a bday party today and my DF has been at our old house moving stuff out while I unpack at the new one.
I get to escape tonight to go to a belated birthday dinner with my best friend. It feels good to actually get dressed up and ready. And we are going to a Greek place that is SO amazing. My DF is taking my DD to see his youngest brother's high school musical...so sad I have to miss that this year
i spent the day recovering a POANG chair for the nursery. It was a fairly simple sew job and I'm happy with how it turned out! I've made some modifications in my head for next time, there are some things I'd change about it, but I'm happy with it for a first attempt that will surely be puked all over!
I feel like death. DH was out of town all week. DD was sick with an awful stomach bug half of the week and then the last half of the week I caught the stomach bug. DH is luckily home now, but I'm just exhausted. I haven't gotten sick in a day or so but still can't eat or drink, really. I'm so dehydrated but the only thing I can stomach is ice and icees. We're going to buy a tv for our bedroom today. I've always been against having a tv in the bedroom, but I just want to lay in bed and do nothing this weekend. I figure it will also come in handy when nursing the new baby and trying to occupy DD1.
@krex-2 It looks amazing! We ended up just throwing a fleece blanket over our glider to protect it from the copious amounts of spit-up that DD produced. We'll see if we're that diligent with this one!
I've done basically nothing all day other than shower. Probably was decompressing after a busy vaca then jumping right into a workweek from hell. Now I'm getting ready to see Beauty and the Beast with my sister and nieces!!!!!!!!!!!! Excitement level= 10,000
I'm about to put myself to bed at 7:45, because DH has friends over watching a marathon of superhero movies, and discussing theories about Star Wars. I could care less about all of this, but my options are to sit here and listen, or to go to bed.
I have been on my couch all day, either reading, watching Netflix, or napping. As a FTM I am really soaking in all of my lazy quiet time while I have a chance! Luckily my husband was also in the mood for a lazy day.
