  Oh hey, nice to meet you. I don't feel comfortable discussing my baby's weight with strangers.
  
  In all seriousness, there's a level of human error involved in measuring weight. I had an u/s for IUGR the day prior to my DD's birth and was told she weighed 4lbs, 4oz, she was born the very next day and weighed 6lbs, 5oz. So it's just an approximation.

  Weights on ultrasounds are notoriously inaccurate. Many obs don't even check them because inaccurate measurements can lead to unnecessary interventions. My last doctor told me once that there was a study out showing that moms' guesses as to their baby's weights were more accurate than ultrasound measurements. If your doc isn't worried, you shouldn't be either.

  I was measured at 26w (2w behind your current gestational date) and LO was estimated at 2lb 7oz.  According to Google I have a monster baby.  According to my OB I have a healthy, human developing right on track (not even 75th percentile).  I trust my OB infinitely more than Google.  Also, you might not get much response here for a couple of reasons:
  

  1. After the anatomy scan, women who aren't high risk usually don't get continued growth scans.  You're not going to get a reasonable range.
  2. No two babies are the same so comparing an estimate to another estimate won't help you
  3. A ultrasound is only an estimate as @Stankonia2014 pointed out
  4. According to Google I have (at one point in time) been dying of typhoid.  Stay away from Google for a medical diagnosis on anything
  5. Seriously even if you go off of Google... your baby might be 6oz ahead.  That is nothing.  That isn't even a cup of water.

  ahhhh thank you all for your comments.  I of course trust my doctor more than google!!! forgive me,  I'm a worry worm.  We have a 3yr old daughter and in between her and this pregnancy I've had 2 miscarriages.  I guess because of that it makes me nitpick even though I know I shouldn't!  I was just curious to see others weights, that's all!  Sending good vibes to all my other June mommies!!

  Wow so sorry.  Wasn't an aw post.  just being completely honest as I thought that's what these groups were for.  You're right I just showed up,  I used to go on before for support to the June 2013 group when I had my first daughter and thought oh maybe I'll post something in June 2017 group for some input. Because back then it was a huge support for me.   But damn yeah I'll leave.  I didn't realize it was so exclusive.

  Hey -
  I myself will start weekly growth scans because I am high risk.  The other ladies are right in saying that they can do their best to estimate, however it is an estimation that can be somewhat off.  That being said, when I went in at my last scan at 26 weeks, they said baby was about 2lbs already.  Try not to Google too much.  I am a bumpie from the past too.  Things have changed quite a bit around on the boards.  Best of luck to you!!

  Yesterday at 28+4, they estimated my kid weighed 2lbs, 13 oz (44th percentile). My doctor wasn't concerned, so because I'm not an MD, I'm kind of going to trust the guy I enlisted to help me birth my child, and maybe not Google.

  @kensbby I know you're new here, and relatively speaking I still am too, but most of the people here have been a community for months, and "know" each other well enough to feel comfortable sharing personal information. It's jarring to suddenly have someone new come in and do things their own way, and there have been numerous instances in the past where some unknown person comes in and starts a bunch of unnecessary drama, so it understandably puts everyone on edge when someone doesn't bother reading the giant stickied thread at the top of the forum, nor introduces themselves in the into thread.
  
  It may come off a catty, but everyone here has seen it so many times that we're all just tired of people wanting to join an established community without even bothering to try to understand the way it works first. The regulars here are pretty protective of each other, and people who demonstrate right off the bat that they don't care about the established rules are under heavy suspicion. Having said that, they're also extremely open to new members joining, so long as they introduce themselves and contribute meaningfully to conversations.

  I'm sorry and who exactly is she?  Do you know her?  Because the rest of us don't.  When I worry about medical issues I speak to a doctor.  Oh wait... OP did and the doctor wasn't concerned.  If you took the time to read the responses, she was given info and reminded that not even a medical professional was worried.

  Support and help doesn't always mean coddling. You need to be honest with people (also does not mean bitchy). This woman was going to take advice from google over her doctor. That's not ok.

  Yes, but she was curious because she was concerned. She was concerned because google told her to be. If she is listening to google over her doctor, then comes here and just one person says "my doc didn't like it and we did this.." or some variation, it would've opened a new can of worms. She believed google, she is going to believe internet stranger. Every case is different and you don't know everyone's history. That's why we have doctors.

  Twice now in this thread you have called the women here bitchy.  You are the only one being rude and you happen to be violating TOU.   It is not my job to hold anyone's hand, stroke their head and tell them everything will be all right.  If someone comes here seeking an opinion I'm going to give it to them.  I gave OP an opinion as did others here.  That is far from bitchy, that is called honesty "hun".
