Doing okay! Feeling discouraged with a BFN at 10 DPIUI. My trigger is still hanging around (12 dptrigger) giving SUPER faint lines which is annoying. Go away or get darker, already. How are you?

@Funnygirl34 -ugh sorry for the BFN...was it a beta? I haven't tested yet...DH thinks I am impatient (in everything lol) and says to wait until Monday, the day before my beta. I have been crampy everyday since transfer...hard to know if it's from the crinone or not. I am tired now with that dull, achey feeling. My boobs hurt on and off since transfer. How do you feel? Any symptoms?

Only 4DP IUI (well 3 really... do you count IUI day as day 1, or the following day?!), and I'm already symptom spotting... cramps and nausea (normal temp). My rational brain knows this is ridiculous, but my baby-dust-spinkled-brain has taken over! Argh this is sooooo much more obsession inducing than a good old fashioned TWW.

@LoveDontCostAThing Not too bad so far! Between the Ovridel trigger (hcg) and Crinone (progesterone) I've been very crampy in my lower abdomen and my stomach has been quite upset. From what I've read, these are all normal side effects from hcg and progesterone.

How are you doing?

@LoveDontCostAThing It was a pregnancy test. My RE office doesn't do betas unless you get a positive test first.

@Funnygirl34 -really? I thought all places did betas since sometimes a hpt can be negative, but beta positive. are you going to test again?

@MountainLady - when will you test?? ugh...I am so nervous to test, so not sure if it is willpower or being scared!! My beta is on Tuesday, so I will test tomorrow. I need to know prior to the beta/ phone call. My first FET I didn't test at all, so when they called with the BFN I was extra upset, feeling unprepared. Last FET, I tested the day before and got a BFP, then the next morning, it was fainter. My beta was positive, and they said to be "hopefully optimistic," but I knew it was a low beta...so ended in chemical. It's just all too much for me...ahhh!

@Katherind -I have been crampy since transfer. I take crinone too, so it's so hard to tell if it is from that or potential pregnancy. I took crinone for a few days before transfer and didn't feel crampy. How many days until your beta?

@LoveDontCostAThing good plan to be prepared, having to hold yourself together in a clinic is too hard! FX FX FX!!!
I'm going to try wait until the 26th March. I only have 1 test at home, and I am going to try and make it the only one I use this cycle!

Anyone symptom spotting yet? I am trying so hard not to! But definitely have some crampy/achy feelings in my abdomen (probably due to the medication and IUI). This TWW has been soooo long! I have my progesterone check tomorrow at 7dpiui so we will see if they decide to put me on progesterone suppositories or not. At least I feel like a blood test is doing something! Its so weird to go from blood tests and ultrasounds every three or four days to nothing for two weeks!

TW - My first pregnancy (lasted 8.5 weeks) started fainter and the got super dark.this looks great for a first test. FX that it gets darker and stays there!!

@Manders85 - thanks...still freaked! I had the tiniest amount of spotting today and already paranoid! My beta is on Tuesday!!

i caved and started testing Friday. Negative Saturday morning on FRER, faint line in the afternoon. This morning very faint FRER (almost negative) but visible without squinting wondfo lines. I retested in the afternoon with both and darkening lines. I think my FMU sucks. I'm 6dp5dt and will accept this line after only a 2 hour hold. I think my husbands going to hide all my tests soon

Blahhhhh. I'm having the most awful PMS of life this month. I'm 7dpiui and feeling just terrible. Wouldn't it be amazing if the tww was all puppies and sunshine instead of this garbage?

Hi my name is Tonia. This is my first time doing IUI and my first time posting on a forum! I'm 10dpiui and I'm trying with all my might not to take a test as I am afraid I will test positive because of my trigger shot. I am very new at this and didn't know if any one had any advice. My dr told me to test 2 weeks after the IUI which will be this Friday! 3/24/17 I can not wait hehe. But my normal period is due the following Monday 3/27/17 so I am just tempted to wait till I have a missed period to test. I'm on progesterone so I have all the symptoms that are very similar to early pregnancy symptoms or period symptoms so it's hard to tell the difference!

Hey there! My name is Tonia. I am curious as to what those hcg stick things are for and where I can get them. I am so new at this and am hopeful you can help me. I'm getting alittle antsy (good antsy) from reading all the good stories but am scared to test earlier then my dr said to. From reading stories I am nervous if I test too early is test positive from my trigger shot? Please help lol

@ShyTonia Welcome to the group Tonia!! I think its a good idea not to test until the doc told you to - I've been told that my trigger shot can give a false positive pregnancy test up until like 11dpiui so I'm probably not going to test until my beta on Monday! I know some ladies like to be prepared for the possibility of a negative and will test the day before though and I would think you would be safe then! Good luck during your TWW - i'm sooo antsy! I'm only 7dpiui so still have 6 1/2 days!!! Arrrrgh lol

@thothscribe81 thanks for the reinforcement! I just keep telling myself there is a reason my RE said to test at two weeks after! I have 4 more days I can do it! Good luck to you as well! I have a pretty busy week ahead of me so I'm sure it will fly by! Hope you can stay busy too! It is so crazy though to go almost every other day for monitoring and then nothing for two weeks! lol I was just told to take the HPT on this coming Friday and if it's positive to come right in. Don't even call. Lol. Are you on progesterone?

@ShyTonia I totally agree with you there! Its weeks of appointments every few days, ultrasounds, bloodwork, injetions, medication and then.... nothing for two weeks! Its maddening!! I had my progesterone level check this morning so just waiting on a phone call with the results. If its under 10 they are going to prescribe a supplement for me to take for the next week until my pregnancy test on Monday the 27th.

@thothscribe81 Gotcha! My dr started me on the progesterone suppositories two days after my IUI. They are called Endometrin. Don't remember him saying if my progesterone was low or not. Did they tell you to do a HPT or to come into the office? Every dr is so so different. My one sister in law was so surprised when I told them they wanted me to do a HPT first before blood test. I m so very excited for you and to have you and this awesome group to chat with!

@ShyTonia Thats good they put you right on it - I know some docs lean on the side of caution. I think thats what I'll be on tonight if they tell me I need it! Just felt some major pinching in my lower abdomen! Maybe implantation???

I'm lucky that my office has you come in on day 14 after your iui regardless to take a blood pregnancy test. I know that hpt can be not accurate sometimes especially if your early levels aren't high so I'm glad I will get a blood test no matter what! I'm actually going to try not to take a hpt at all and just wait for my beta. I feel like a negative result will just upset me earlier and it might not be accurate, which wouldn't be good for the pregnancy to get all worked up for nothing. So I'm trying my best to hold out!!!

@LoveDontCostAThing thanks for the pic! After doing alittle googling I realized these were pregnancy tests, just different then the ones you buy in the store ! Hehe. I was hoping they were some sort of test that tested if your trigger shot was still in you. ( I keep reading people say they tested out their trigger shot, so still not sure what that means. )
I read more of the previous comments and am so excited for you! Tmor is your beta? I wish I joined these forums earlier! So excited to have you guys now and for the future! Xo

@shytonia I could be wrong because I've never done it but I'm pretty sure "testing out the trigger shot" means that they took hpt super early (like right after iui) and waited for the lines to get lighter and lighter until it became negative - that way they know for sure that a future positive line is from pregnancy and not leftover hcg from trigger
