Feeling cranky today. I feel like both kids know something is up and they're testing me like crazy. Also, my face has never been oily but all of a sudden, crazy amounts of oil/breakouts. What's bugging you today?!
I am so sick today I had to call in sick for work. Spent the morning barfing so much I almost passed out. Not a good recipe to commute much less go to work.
@adirat@jess0211 if we get a snow day out of it I won't be so upset. I've got my space heater going in my office right now and it's amazing (that's fine to use and not in the same category as a heating pad right??)
I HATE daylight savings time. I'm already so freaking tired, now I have to get up when it's pitch black outside and drive to work in the dark. Plus with the blizzard coming, I'm slammed with work because there's no way I'm coming in tomorrow. Ugh.
Me: 32 Husbando: 49 Married Since: 7/29/2012 omgosh
@adirat I'm sorry that you feel so sick today Do you usually feel better as the day goes on? Or is it less morning sickness and really "all day sickness?"
We're expecting 8-12 inches here. My coworkers will not stop shouting hour-by-hour updates on the storm to the entire office. We get it. It's going to snow. Simmer down, Al Roker.

@DuchessOfCambridge totally hoping for a snow day. My biggest issue though is I live in one state and work in the other. The state I live in tends to get hit harder so work may not close but I can't get there.
We're just supposed to get slightly above freezing temps and rain today. Ugh. Can we just fast forward to consistently warm weather and the second trimester?
So not looking forward to this snow storm. At least our estimates have gone down! It was 18-24 and now is 12-18. That's a lot more manageable and probably only means one snow day for my kids, instead of a bunch.
my BF is that I went out with girlfriends last night (I got to drive everyone around, yay!) and am so tired today!! And my 2 year old is a super early riser
1. I am not a hot weather person at all, but we live in a very hot area. I hate it. We actually had a pretty cool and rainy "winter" which was amazing, and I was so happy, but this past week it decided to turn into summer, and it's now been almost 90 for the past several days. It's gross. I would MUCH rather have snow. I'm a total snow bunny and can never get enough, but it does not snow here.
2. I bought a new car a month ago (yay!) and yesterday driving back from a photo shoot, my windshield cracked like 4 big long cracks stemming from a windshield wiper. I don't even know what happened. So annoyed. Hopefully it won't cost us too much to get replaced.
April Siggy Challenge: April Showers
About me:
29 y/o Married 6.26.11 BFP 12.23.13, EDD 9.2.14 - baby girl, born too soon at 22w6d due to a placental abruption on 5.5.14 BFP 8.4.14, EDD 4.15.15 - rainbow son, born at 30w4d due to a placental abruption on 2.8.15, healthy 3 y/o now! BFP 2.28.17, EDD 11.8.17 - baby girl, miscarried at 11 weeks on 4.21.17 BFP 11.28.17, EDD 8.8.18, delivering in July - another rainbow baby boy!
I was up six times last night vomiting. It's hard to say if it's the stomach bug, or baby. But DD decided to throw a fit over going to school because it was gym day. She played the belly ache card, and I gave in. The stinker is perfectly fine. So much for my day of sleeping this off
I agree with @Tourmalily I HATE daylight savings time! I took two one hour naps yesterday because my Dh was awesome (not bitching about that!) but now today I learned that my old boss (that still acts like my boss) got te printer that my whole office section was using and has it in his office now! We don't have a color printer in the space now, plus he said that he doesn't want people printing on it because "it's loud and would disturb his concentration" WTF!!! He never prints!
Kids are totally crazy this morning and I feel so nauseated. Short fuses all around! Trying to keep them entertained but it's hard when they basically have attention spans < 5 minutes.
Well pretty much everyone covered this but here it goes:
1) I'm tired - I'm already really tired did not need the time change on top of everything
2) I'm nauseous - I have no pretending energy today but work is busy so here I am "pretending"
3) More snow expected here too! Spring can not come soon enough.
And I know this is bitchfest - but something fun - I just ordered a really pretty maternity dress for my sisters wedding. I was struggling with what to wear - then got my BFP - I'll be 18-19 weeks by then and this is my third so I think a pretty maternity dress was in order!
1) Fuck daylight savings, my son did not sleep at all last night. God love my husband he took the first shift but I was up from like 2:30-5:30. 2) I'm so nauseous but due to having a problem when I was younger I can't physically vomit without sticking my finger down my throat which isn't optimal. So I am stuck here feeling like crap. 3) we have our first ultrasound tomorrow and we are supposed to get like 6 inches of snow and I'm afraid it's going to get cancelled or something
I'm in such a cranky mood today, didn't sleep well last night due to the crazy dream thing that finally arrived last night. I had forgotten about that side of pregnancy, got up and made overnight bags for each of us in case we get stuck at work and can't make it home, didn't have time for breakfast, and find out what person they put in my class during my planning period... calling today a wash ....just hoping I get my grocery shopping done and get home before the snow.
I did not want to get out of bed for work this morning, it was freezing. Only 2/3 of my patients are testing me today and my other is a new momma who is so sweet. Spent my day on the couch yesterday because of a migraine and nausea. My DD lectured me a little that I need to flush after throwing up, she's lucky she's cute and comical. We are due for 12-18+ inches of snow tomorrow, thank God I'm not on tomorrow or they would make me sleep over at the hospital. No thanks!!
@ElizabethSchuyler - Yes to pregnancy congestion. I get it every freaking time. Basically propping myself up to sleep upright every night now because it is so bad.
My boss is a tool, I despise everyone at work today, and it's freaking snowing. And daylight savings time sucks. It would appear my hormones are in full swing today.
Last night was second most sick I have ever been in my life. I threw up from 12am-5am. The silver lining is that I am pretty sure I have norovirus, which usually clears up in 2-3 days. In the beginning I thought my sickness was from pregnancy and I was thinking there is no way I can handle this for 6 weeks more. Hate having to use PTO when I am actually sick
I'm with you all. Been nauseas for severa days now but actually threw up for the first time this morning. While I was in the shower....so uncool.
@av2323 My boss is also an extremely frustrating person to work for/with and I was stuck in a meeting with him all morning. I honestly wanted to throw up on the spot so I could leave.
@JulesDP my students wouldn't stop yelling out about upcoming snow either. @kschref Mine have been so bad the last two days that I put them on technology lock down. Their desks were in rows and everything was done on paper. Recent bad behavior of blatantly not following directions and lying has been driving me nuts. With DST and impending snow, I had a plan and luckily it worked.
My MBF is my boss is not consistent. I was told to let kids who don't do work choose what is graded or "fail them with no effort" by giving a 65 for anything that is not done. I was told not to stay in with them at recess and to relax. Then I was told I couldn't give an F and to stay in with them at recess. These seem to be contradictions, no?
It's funny how it's the little things in life that mean the most...not where you live, or what you drive, or the price tag on your clothes... There's no dollar sign on a piece of mind, this I've come to know! *ZBB*
@NYTino24 ugh that's so annoying! I hate contradictory bosses, you always manage to do something wrong in their eyes because they can't figure out what they want!
Ugh it's not even snowing yet but already everyone is driving crazy! We have almost got in two accidents already 10 mins into our commute because everyone is driving like a insane person panicking to get home before the snow.
@chattykitty17 i always forget how crazy pregnancy dreams can get, and terrifying too. I've had 2 wake me in the past week!
I just can't bring myself to tell my mom I'm pregnant. Ever since my second was born she's always made comments about how we don't need more kids and we're fine with what we have.. because apparently she is part owner of my uterus? I love her to death, but I just am so afraid of the reaction I could get and I don't want to be disappointed if she is disappointed. UGH. Man, I am a big pile of bitch today. Sorry, ladies.
Had to cover court today for one of my workers and mid-way through the hearing I started getting mild cramps and nausea, which was not enjoyable. I had to leave immediately... i rested and drank a lot of water and am feeling much better. Now I prepare for tomorrow's snow day but I'm likely only getting 2-3 inches. Snow day is a snow day, no matter how much snow.
@jess0211 Be safe and hope you got home safely! @ugoglencoco I hope she comes to her senses! I won't be telling my mother at all. I was going to wait the first time and didn't. *TW* Then she didn't call me or return my call and text after my loss. */TW* Life is too short to deal with BS!

@ugoglencoco MIL has made so many of these comments to us, with only one DD, that I know she's going to be a brat about it. DH is insistent that was wait until Easter to even tell parents or siblings, so we plan to give them an Easter egg with an ultrasound picture inside. She better not act like a brat in front of his entire family. I'll lose it.
My MIL just texted me and said "just plan to schedule all of your baby apts on Wednesdays (her day off) so I can go with you and we can do lunch after" ummm wtf. I've already talked about this with her...1st I work Wednesdays (my dr. Is like 30 min away so it would make it really tricky) and 2nd my mil is certainly NOT coming to my OB appointments. Im stunned that she seriously thought that.
@baker1jm2 At this point I'm glad that we're a 20+ hour plane ride from all family. My MIL is a L&D nurse and if she had her way I'd deliver at her hospital and she'd be my nurse haha.
@heatherdubrow I got really lucky and I love my ILs. When I told her I planned to breast feed she was excited but not in a "well that's what you should do" way. She does get over bearing though, and with this being the first grandchild it will be no different. We'll be living 6 hours away so unless she comes out early around my due date, she probably won't be there for the birth which I'm perfectly okay with.
Re: Monday Morning Bitchfest
I never expected to feel this sick. It's brutal.
@DuchessOfCambridge @jess0211 Same here and we're projected to get 17 inches tomorrow. Sigh.

@jess0211 At first it was limited to the mornings and evenings, but yesterday I felt sick all day, no respite. I'm worried about it getting worse.
@adirat I think 17in is our prediction too
