@korpisar No experience there, but I'm so sorry for this added layer of stress! What a frustrating way to find out, too. As someone who has a kiddo who was born with a foot deformity, my best advice is to make the appt and then shut it out of your mind until then. Don't let it rob you if the joy of spending time with your squish. Hopefully it was the injections and it will pose no issues! Regardless, you can handle it, whatever "it m" is.
Thank you for this - appt made for next week. I'm trying to put it out of my mind. I am really hoping it's out of his system now and the levels are normal.
Had my 37 week appt today, NST was perfect which was a relief after a series of alarms from my OB over the last few weeks which went something like:
"Protein in urine! You may have pre-e! 24 HR test immediately!"
"Your urine is totally normal"
"Baby is breech! You're going to have a. C-section!"
"Baby flipped. No reason for CS"
"Your baby is measuring gigantic! You may have developed late onset GD! Take the tests again immediately! You probably can't deliver that baby you may have to have a c-section!"
Today, finally got to see the most rational doctor:
"Your glucose was totally normal, not even a little elevated, US is likely off, and you can deliver this baby, we will let you try and if your body tells us no, we will do a c-section as a last resort."
These ups and downs have been making me a little crazy but happy to get some good news today!
@catybug820 my LO had jaundice too, thankfully she didn't need the bili lights though! Keep up the good work with all that feeding...pooping helps get the bilirubin out of the system! FX you both can go home soon!!
