I am actually kind of mad at my baby for being breech. I know it is crazy to be mad at a fetus and it isn't her fault and there is still lots of time to turn but it is stressing me and I wish she would just turn.
Oh and I am a magical unicorn and can't feel BH (never did last time either) or contractions. I also was on full blast pitocin for 12 hours with my first and didn't feel a thing until I was ruptured. If I do go into labor on my own I am not sure I will necessarily know. I am basically a big oblivious whale until it is D day.

Ditto to all of this. LO was not breach a few weeks ago at a growth U/S. Since then, i feel like he's turned sideways and my Dr agreed. If he's breach, he's grounded.
While I do have constant BH and horrible period cramps, I never feel regular contractions all that well. I had several hours of pitocin w/o feeling them. Then, bam! Despite contracting all day, I went from zero pain to demanding an epidural with just one upping of my pitocin dosage. **TW** I also never had cramps or painful contractions with my MC last year.
My dr said I need to be hypervigilant towards the end. Since I was induced with DD, I'm worried I won't notice real labor.
Yesterday, my kid threw up on herself on the way to daycare and I still took her in.
Full story: She was absolutely fine. She's getting over a cold and hadn't really coughed all night. When she woke yesterday, she started coughing to clear out her chest. We were late and in a hurry, so I gave her breakfast in the car on the way. She inhaled it. Then she started coughing again and coughed a little too hard. She was mostly confused about how she "got the food out of her stomach" and mad that it was all over her "beautiful dress." I didn't use the words "throw up" when talking to her because I didn't want her to repeat it at school. Instead, I told her she coughed a little too hard and food came out her mouth.
She was fine all day. When DH picked her up, she told him her teacher wouldn't believe her that she coughed food out of her mouth. Oy.
I'm not looking forward to a shower I have to go to on Sunday. I don't know the girl, the baby daddy was a friend of DH little brother, so my in laws became friends with his parents. His parents have been generous toward us with wedding and baby showers so of course I feel obligated to go. But I got super annoyed when I looked at the baby's r us registry and saw the $500 crib and $30 blankets and just other ridiculous crap. They're young and living with the baby daddy's parents, all I could think was "what if you only got gift cards? You'll only be able to get a fraction of this stuff at these prices". I'm mean and judgey
H and I were traveling last week and we had some time at the airport before our flight took off. Our airport tradition is to drink (duh), so H got a beer. It was at the end of a very stressful day/week/month, so I took a couple of sips of his beer--not gulps, but not exactly bird sips. I don't think that's a FFFC in itself (although flame away if it is), but the problem is that I forgot I had just taken Xanax (because I freak out when flying--OB approved!). Oops. So everything combined to make me a bit woozy/giggly, and I got the munchies and had to go buy a big bag of Twizzlers which I downed on the plane. Parent of the year right here
I had to rehome my dog yesterday. He was a stray dog before and we live in a condo so it was my stupid assumption that thinking a small dog = condo suitable. He needed a huge fenced backyard to run. He was so depressed here (despite us taking him on 3 walks a day) but he was absolutely loved, was considered a family member and we miss him a heck of a lot. So I guess my FFFC is that I'm "one of those people" who had to rehome their family pet and I feel judged by family/friends when we were just trying to give him what he deserved rather than being cooped up in a condo.
FFFC: I haven't had a haircut since June 2015. Not even a trim. I keep trying to tell myself to get one before this baby comes but I just can't be bothered.

Count me in on this! Baby has been vertex at every scan except the US we had last week she was breech. I know they flip around often and there's plenty of time to be vertex before delivery but I was really surprised. I feel like I have prepared myself for every birth option thinking I might have to be induced or end up having a c-section of labor stalls or whatever. But apparently it didn't really occur to me that a scheduled c/s might be needed. Duh. Silly me. I was kinda mad at baby and I'm willing her to be vertex once we get closer to the end!
My dr said I need to be hypervigilant towards the end. Since I was induced with DD, I'm worried I won't notice real labor.
Exactly. Follow up FFFC? If I do go into labor I plan to ask my husband to do a cervical check on me before we leave for the hospital to make sure I'm not going to be sent home.
@momma2char I'm actually glad you realized your beloved dog was depressed and did what was best for him. It makes me more upset when people leave dogs outside and drive away. Or take them straight to a shelter without worrying or caring what becomes of them.

Dammit. I wish DH had time to get some medical training in the next 9 weeks. I knew I should have married a doctor!
@WombThereItIs - Hahaha...I did not realize your husband is a doctor and was about to be super impressed. I'm fairly certain my husband would have no idea where to find my cervix, let alone be able to tell if I was dilated at all. We're talking about a man who thought Cervadil was called "Cervix Drill."

@sarah0985 My haircuts are few and far between! Sometimes just once a year. My hairdresser always gets annoyed esp. because my hair is treated, but whatever--she's not the one who has to pay for it, or deal with it (except for once a year when I come in, haha).
Confession- Sometimes when I just want to curl up and read a book instead of parenting, I'll just read my book out loud to my kids. Even when said book is a murder mystery.

@Squirtgun I definitely see LOTS of this in my parenting future...
FFFC - A co-worker scheduled a 6:30 am meeting to discuss a new high-needs student who just enrolled. In order for me to get to a meeting at 6:30 I have to leave by 5:50 at the absolute latest. Last night I accepted the calendar invite saying I would attend. This morning I woke up at 5, thought about it for a minute, and was like "nope." I laid in bed, in and out of sleep, thinking about getting up until 6 when I texted her and said I couldn't make it because DH couldn't take DS to daycare so I had to do it and they don't open until 7:15. Then DH and I had some sexy time and he took DS to daycare anyway and I rolled in at 8. Employee of the year.
@absbubbs Your FFC made me realize I have one this week. Yesterday I had one small cup of water, but drank tea all day and still had two cans of pepsi.

Not much of a FFFC but I finally went through the spreadsheet for the first time in a couple months. Oops. It was saddening to see several familiar names disappear or barely participate anymore in the last couple months. As usual, I hope all is well with those ladies!
DH and I bought a bunch of candy at the store last night because we're "pregaming" for Easter. Whatever helps me get my hands on Hershey's Cookie Crunch is fine by me.
@WombThereItIs Now I'm going to ask DH how much "labor training/cervical checks" he's had in his combat medic training haha... too bad he hasn't done PA school yet!

@hp_momma heh probably none? I remember my husband said he had to teach combat medics how to place a foley cath and it involved creating a "stunt penis" out of a water bottle and a condom or something...
For the record it is not like I am excited about the prospect of him doing it, it just seems practical. He has very short fingers and huge palms, not exactly a winning combination!
@WombThereItIs Haha sounds about right with the foley cath! I'm thinking none too. Plus he's not technically a medic anymore since he switched to the officer side. I think at this point I can rely on him to give me a proper tourniquet, andddd that's about it.

Not a FFFC but the Cervix Drill has me thinking of my brother. Last Thursday I was super uncomfortable and in some minor pain while on bed rest. He asked if the doctor could just give me that thing they give pregnant woman.... An epidural for the pain. He thought it would be totally normal to get an epidural a full 24 hours before my c-section.
@OmegaRose3 - I love the idea of pre-gaming for Easter. Let's make it a thing that everyone does!
My FFFC is that I've faux-worked all day. I've had spreadsheets open, in case someone comes into my office, but I've spent the entire day doing personal stuff - ordering clothes, paying bills, playing on Pinterest, making a grocery list. I also lied to someone's face and said I was still in the middle of some work (I finished it yesterday) so they couldn't ask me to do more.
My FFFC... I'm a total brat this week in regards to my fiance's stepsister (backstory: we get engaged after stepsister got engaged, we let our families know/and book destination wedding in mexico, stepsister books cruise destination wedding to mexico after we have let everyone know our plans... she has never once mentioned destination wedding prior to this, but book it before our date. We get pregnant and have to cancel said destination wedding for the time being)....
well her wedding was this past weekend and there have been a million posts on FB about it and I have total b*tch eating crackers over it. Like I'm so ungodly jealous over the whole situation I can't even see straight!
My FFFC is that I caught a kid cheating today, and I'm happier about it than I should be. I always knew this kid was sneaky. Other teachers thought he was so sweet and innocent, but to me there were little signs that he wasn't being truthful about things. Part of it could be that I see him around kids who speak his language, and they see him in an all English class, so he might be his more "true" self in my room. I caught him with answers to a test and pictures of the test on his (school issued) iPad. I almost shouted, "I knew it!" when I caught him, but I refrained.
