@danijo and @meilay - I'm +1 for rib pain. I've had it for a month now and it's a real drag. Since it's moving from only my mid-back on the right side, so also my front right ribs I'm going to mention it to my MW on Friday since that, I read, can be associated with HELPP. Don't have any other symptoms though, so FX. So hard to get comfortable - at night, or sitting at work
@sparrow I had similar pain (right front ribs, as well as a bunch of back pain) with DD - they did some tests to rule out HELPP or other causes, but decided it was just how DD was hanging out. It oddly took a few weeks after her birth to resolve, and hasn't reappeared with this pregnancy (yet....). Hope all is well!
@sparrow I hope your pain isn't a cause for concern. Mine is mainly when I'm laying down and I believe it's just from the extra weight. I'll keep an eye on the other symptoms of HELPP though just in case.
@CurlyMommy416 hormones are ridiculous over here too. Cried last night because my husband wasn't hungry for dinner. He still sat with us and he made dinner, so it's not even like I worked really hard and was offended he wouldn't eat it. Him sitting there with no food in front of him made me cry. Thanks for the positive thoughts. Sitting in the waiting room now. I've had 2 kids and I still don't know how I'm supposed to know the difference between general pregnancy discomfort and possible early labor discomfort.
@mrt Hope everything checks out!!! I've noticed my braxton hicks are way stronger than my last two pregnancies- maybe they just get crappier the more kids we have lolol

I'm convinced this is true. BH are insane this time around.
What do BH feel like? Some things I read say a "tightening" feeling and others say like menstrual cramps. Those seem like two totally different feelings to me...I have had menstrual like cramps at times, but never a tightening feeling. Just curious as to how you ladies would describe them...
I think I had my first noticeable BH yesterday. It was uncomfortable and slightly painful. Anyone else suffering from extra drool while sleeping? It's gross.
Pregnancy brain is real. Yesterday morning my car wouldn't start. I tried a bunch of different things, and it just wouldn't turn over, so I took DH's truck to work. I got home and he very nicely informed me that the problem with my car.....it needed gas. Dope.
Then today I thought I lost my car keys somewhere in my school. I searched everywhere I had gone for about 20 minutes, only to find them sitting on in the carseat in the back seat of my car. Way to go me.
All is normal and good. No cervical change, and they're not regular so they're just BH. Thanks for your positive thoughts! I don't remember having any BH with my first two and they definitely weren't this intense. I thought I remembered hearing that BH shouldn't really be painful. @MKRLTX I had tightening and menstrual cramp like pain and a pressure feeling like baby was going to bust through my cervix any moment.
@CurlyMommy416 I'm right there with you. I cried today because dh went to my favorite restaurant for lunch without me. Then he said "great we reached the full crazy stage"
Yes he is sleeping on the couch tonight.
Mom to Madison- 5 and Lillian 2....and now surprise baby #3!
Nesting is a symptom right? I just got home and I'm about to attempt to clean and organize every room in my house, mostly the closets. We've only lived here a year and some stuff got done the same time we were cleaning the nursery but still. I feel like if I don't at least start I won't be able to sleep tonight. I'm also feeling really down and have been very weepy today so I'm hoping cleaning will give me a sense of accomplishment that lifts some of this cloud.
For me my whole belly tightens for BH and doesn't ease up until I rest and drink water. It's usually super uncomfortable and I feel pressure but not pain.

I got my glucose blood work back and I passed the glucose portion but they said I'm anemic. I found that surprising because I've never been anemic before and there is iron in my prenatals. I made a spinach smoothie for dinner. Yum!
@awoodruff27 Maybe I'm really obsessed with food, but I think that would make me cry even if I wasn't pregnant. My favorite restaurant without me? I would feel like he was trying to upset me! So I don't think you're that crazy.

You should ask your dr about floradix. I took it before I got pregnant and the first few weeks because I was severely anemic. It really helps! And it's made from food, so no hurt belly after!
I think I have rectus diastasis. Lots of upper abdomen pain which is reproducible with certain stretches and movements. It sucks! Trying to figure out a better pillow situation since I think the way I'm sleeping is making it worse.

@email2ash my son was anemic for a while and his doctor said to make sure not to take iron supplements/sources with milk, but do combine them with vitamin c for the best absorption. Also that red meat really is the easiest way for your body to get and absorb iron.
Pregnancy brain: I was putting dinner in the crockpot this morning, turned it on high and walked away... only to find out an hour later that I never plugged the thing in oops.
also... insomnia? It's 2:36am here and I've been up since 1. Plus, I can't get comfy and my dogs both feel the need to be right up against me.
@mrt he is usually very sweet, and I *know* he was just joking. But as soon as he saw my face he knew he messed up. He has been kissing my butt all night and morning.
@kyreno11 he said he didn't think about it being my favorite. Which I call bull crap on. He always says how busy he is for lunch so I just felt ditched, then the restaurant choice put me over the edge.
On a positive note, I had the most amazing night of sleep in months. Only had to pee once, no crazy nightmares, no insomnia. It was glorious. I know it won't happen often so I'm enjoying the rest today.

@BellaO21 There must be something in the air, bc I did the same thing yesterday!..... except it was off all day. No easy dinner for us..... Whomp whomp
On the topic of pregnancy brain I continuously keep leaving my car keys on my front seat, or better yet- in the ignition. Just begging someone to take my car.
Ugh I usually walk for about 45 mins three times a week. Yesterday at the end of my walk I started getting so much pressure in my pelvic/vagine area and it hasn't gone away. It's better when I lay down but uncomfortable to walk or switch positions. I have my monthly appointment tomorrow so I'm trying to hold out for that,
@EmeraldNC my breasts have been sore and really sensitive this entire pregnancy. I have to pat them dry after a shower instead of my usually rough towel drying.
I'm so sick of leaking pee/discharge. Panty liners aren't doing their job anymore. I am going through so many pairs of underwear it's insane.
Definitely also having some preggo brain issues where I just blank and can't remember. New this week is what I think is heartburn. I've never had it before and it's quite annoying. Sciatic pain seems to have improved since I'm trying to sit more often. Extremely tired recently. Likely because I pee twice overnight now and wake up by 5:30am because someone decides that's when it's time to wakey wakey. Occasional nosebleeds are still happening and I'm so stuffy it's hard to breathe in the evenings.

Kinda glad I'm not the only one. I seriously need to get over this cough or buy another pack of underwear. Lol

Where's that pregnancy glow people talk about?
Oh the joys...
