I'm pretty much living off of spaghetti and watered down apple juice. At this point I might just double down on my prenatals or kiddo is going to come out as a spaghetti noodle.
I really miss coffee but even decaf is giving me indigestion, heartburn and burps. I've been just trying to eat healthier and I rotate cottage cheese or yogurt as part of breakfast. Oddly enough I've started really liking hot milk in the evenings. Oh and lots of decaf tea. The last couple of days I've found I really cannot eat as much as I use to. I love toast, and love eating it even more now.
Dh and I made some banana nut bread last night. I ate a couple slices of that for breakfast and fully intend to snack on it all day. Despite all the sugar, flour and butter, I count it as a win since it has fruit, totally legit, right?
I'm in that weird place where I get hungry but nothing sounds good. So I just end up forcing myself to eat whatever doesn't gross me out.
I'm feelin' that too. I'm in survival mode - I eat when I'm hungry and will take whatever I can stomach. I haven't had any huge food aversions yet other than peanut butter (which is weird because normally I freakin' love peanut butter). Cherry tomatoes also make me gag. So far it's been a lot of toast with a bit of butter, bananas, crackers, softer cheeses like havarti, and some veggies.
What I find most frustrating is that I will suddenly feel ravenous like I want a big burger and then, like, 30 seconds later I feel super queasy again. My stomach keeps playing tricks on me!
It turns out that the best way for me to not get hangry and even sicker than I already am, is to snack every couple hours. So today I've had a banana and orange juice for 1st breakfast with my vitamins, greek yogurt with grapefruit for 2nd breakfast, and swiss cheese and cashews for AM snack. Yesterday I tried to eat a nutty bar and it made me sick. I can;'t handle anything sweet anymore, which is a total 180 from my constant sweet tooth before this pregnancy. So I'm forced to eat healthier, which is OK by me! Oh and also I'm living on sprite, ginger ale and ginger beer. Sometimes water but I forgot to bring my lemon and I can't stomach plain water right now.

Same! I usually have a bad sweet tooth, but desserts and sweets have been totally turning me off.
It's impossible for me to eat anything other than carbs and yogurt right now because of my food aversions. I am pretty much relying on this chewy prenatal vitamins to give me the other nutrients that pizza doesnt. Lol!
I had leftover Chinese for lunch. It was awful. But enough to keep me alive. Nothing else sounded remotely good. Until I had an apple fritter afterwards. Now that ish was the bomb.
I made DH go get me some fetticuine Alfredo last night from OG because nothing else sounded good. Yummy breadsticks and I managed to keep it all down. DH is worried this food pickiness is going to break the bank.

I think I've mentioned this before, but all I want for lunch is a jimmy johns veggie sandwich. Everyday. It takes serious control to not do it. #1, I can't be buying my lunch and paying for delivery everyday, and #2, I don't want the jimmy johns people to think I'm crazy. Who cares, right? I think about it this everyday, and have been giving in about twice a week. Today might have to be one of those days.

Sadly, the past few mornings coffee hasn't been desirable. It totally sucks. I need my coffee. My coffee needs me. Coffee is life.
