Not really a FFFC, but after yesterday, I'm just glad a certain someone is gone. That is all.
eta be careful today everyone.
also @EmeraldNC go ahead and make this the FFFC. I think we posted at the same time. I also posted yesterday's date because I'm not awake yet apparently.
I am WFH today because DD1 is sick. Not much work going on here though since my boss told me I don't have the qualifications to be an Advanced Engineer (according to every other manager, I do). It may be petty, but I am totally unmotivated at this point.
I officially can't do math anymore. I realized I'd been telling everyone that DD will be 17 months when LO is born instead of 19 months. I had been counting 10 months in a year. I'd also been thinking this whole time that in Winter '18-'19 LO will be in size 12 months because this winter she will probably be in size 6 months. Somehow this logic has made perfect sense to me for months.
My husband is trying to lose weight and I am not being helpful at all. This week I made him a sundae with fresh baked chocolate chip cookies and ice cream. We would never eat like this normally and I feel bad, but I'm pregnant!! I am going to make a concious effort to be more supportive, but it is just so much more difficult when I am giving myself a pass to indulge.
@mkrltx I'm always in the opposite situation. I'll be trying to lose a few pounds and my husband will have like 5 containers of ice cream in the house and eat huge bowls of it in front of me. But I think I'll be baking some cookies tonight and having ice cream because that sounds amazing!
@doodleoodle I have been having a hard time with math too. Simple things like adding a tip at a restaurant are really making me think. I am blaming being pregnant...hopefully the math skills return!!
I've been working from home the past 2 weeks. I've been feeling burnt out lately and there has been a little too much watching TV instead of working going on...
@Stankonia2014 you are my hero for using the word "vagine" (I hope it wasn't just a typo)
They only had XS scrubs today and I squeezed my bump and my bosom into it. It's obviously way too tight and while I have time to bump now, I don't have time to see if they've refilled the machine with appropriate sized scrubs

What does this blow drying do exactly?! Please teach me your ways!!!!
Think of it like a blow dryer at a car wash, it gets water out of all the nooks and crevices that a towel can't touch. It just makes things less moist down there. (I cringed writing 'moist', I apologize, but it was the only appropriate word.)

My (not really) confession, inspired by other boards talking about pooping and farting in front of SOs, is that dh and i are so open about those things that our 16 month old has started saying "poop! poop!" when she hears one of us fart. It's hilarious.

ewwwwwwwwww the M word.
Listen, we all know you have no filter, but some of us do, Chili Ring.
I also blow dry my lady bits. And PSA ladies if you have a csection, blow dry that incision to keep things clean and dry while it heals especially in those early days of gross skin hangover aka "the shelf".

If you only knew me IRL. My vocabulary would blow you away!
Going on 19 years with the hubby (12 married and living together) and we have never pooped in front of each other or just farted whenever. Farting happens, obviously, but we both avoid it. I really, really like it this way and have no desire for it to be any different and DH feels the same. When this has come up in other threads it seems like those that do it find those of us to be weirdos, conversely I find it totally weird that anyone would want to do it or even to not have any qualms with it. I've never pooped with another human in the room, why would I want to do in front of the person I have sex with? What a turn off! I would poop around almost anyone else I am close to before DH. He just doesn't need to see me like that and I him. And yes, he has seen me give birth twice. Completely different animal. That's his child coming into the world and that is what he is focused on. What he sees in the process is just not comparable to hanging out with me while I make gross noises and stink up the room.

@itsfine, I'm really not a prude. I had just literally never heard the term 'chili ring' until you mentioned it. Moist doesn't even bother me, I just thought I recalled someone having a UO regarding the words 'moist' and 'panties'.
I only cringe a little at certain words like 'p*ssy', 'dick', etc., and it's more so the context they're used in.
A member from July made a really insensitive comment in their UO thread, got flamed by everyone and then came over here and started name-calling one of our regulars in our UO. She was banned and both UO threads dissapeared. edit:can't type today.

My 16 month old just started doing this as well! Except she says "poo poo". Haha
@JAGinMI DH and I will fart in front of each other, but not poop. I completely understand what you're saying about wanting a little mystery there. DH is OCD and it is currently taking on the form of hypochondria. As a result of this he feels the need to tell me whenever he has stomach distress or is concerned about a bowel movement (read: everyday). It's the absolute worst. I've had such a huge increase in libido the second trimester, but he's effectively unknowingly squashed it almost e everyday.
I love to shop, but I'm also cheap. The two don't really mesh all that well.
Over the past few months, I've gotten into couponing, mainly deals that will earn me Walgreens points for free diapers and other baby swag.
The issue is: IM OBSESSED. I got 70 deodorants for free yesterday and earned probably $75 in Walgreens points. I love the thrill of the deal.
DH and my family have started making fun of me for my habits and hoards of products, which I organize and photograph (ha!) prior to donating to family members and a local NFP that builds hygiene kits for families in need.
Picture of a fraction of my deodorants from last night. Where is the monkey hiding its face emoji when you need it?
On the bathroom habits with your spouse front, I used to be all about never doing anything like that in front of DH. And then I got c diff and needed a fecal transplant. My donor? DH. After that the whole bathroom thing kind of flew out the window for us, lol.

I can also relate to @Stankonia2014. I lay on my bed spread eagle under my ceiling fan to dry off after I shower. DH laughs at me every time.
