why is our BMB the only one on the "list" of groups that doesn't have "Moms" in the title? All the rest of them are "Month Year Moms" ours is "September 2017"...it's been bothering me since like January...lol

I wondered this for a long time until I got on my computer. On mobile, my phone cuts off Moms because September is such a long word.

But the other September ones have moms after them too lol

Hahaha, I keep meaning to ask y'all about that and always forget! I feel like we're somehow "lesser" than the other BMBs... which is ridiculous, because as we know, we are actually the best.
The babies sex announcement thread makes me kind of sad seeing all these moms being disappointed with the sex of their babies, particularly with boys. I know I am biased being a boy mom but little boys are just so freaking wonderful! I want to squish my son every second of every day and even if this one wasn't a girl I would've been equally thrilled to have another little mamas boy!

I think once they get to experience what we have with our sweet mamas boys they'll understand! At first I was a little upset I wouldn't get to pick out cute dresses and stuff but I love being a boy mom!
@lap018 It makes me a little sad to read those, too... I think a lot of it is what @daniellelynette said, the initial fun payoff is higher with girls just because of the clothes, and the decorating. They'll love their boys! I also think girls seem more natural to women just because we are girls, lol
While I do understand the excitement about girl clothes I must say I enjoy dressing my son up in cute hipster style stuff too, there is some really fun stuff when shopping for boys too, no the selection is not near as vast as girl stuff but I don't know I just know how much heart bursting love is in my heart for my son and I just want to tell all the boy moms out there that it is so wonderful! There is nothing to be disappointed about little boys love their mamas and you be blown away and overwhelmed with how much love and excitement they bring to your life
Just thought I'd share with you all. I just bought this dress on Amazon and it's great! When I got bought it 3 days ago it was only $15, but now it's marked at $25. Still, I think it's a good deal for the quality of the dress. And it comes in multiple colors.
I wear size 10 pants, 36D bra and i purchased a medium and fits perfect.
I can't imagine being disappointed with a boy or a girl. When I think about having a little man, and I think about the relationships I see between my mom, and brother and my dad and his mom, etc. I just feel overwhelmed. Boys are exuberant and sweet, and a son would be amazing! But then I think about having a girl, and that would be amazing too! I have sister-in-laws that are teenagers now, but I've known them since they were two and four, and they have been some of the best things in my life. Little girls are smart and funny and sassy, and I would just love to have one of my own. Either way, I'm going to be an excited mama!
I'm not completely sure how it happened, but it seems that everyone at my church found out about the baby. We had asked a few people to pray, but I hadn't been advertising it around. At the Ash Wednesday service, 5 different people asked if the rumor was true or congratulated me. It is a small community and we don't have a lot of young people, so I guess everyone is excited. Still it's a little annoying that we don't get to tell anyone. I was worried about what to do if something bad happened, but I know the community would be very supportive at that point and we might want that.
Being a boy mom is the best!! I can't imagine not having my son. He is the best little snuggler and he loves his mommy! My MIL is convinced this one is a girl but deep down I want it to be another little boy.
I feel so behind compared to the rest of you. I know I'm due towards the end of the month, but I haven't even had my first appt yet! I don't go until March 13th when I'm 12w1d. I just want to make sure baby is ok!!
Just needed to vent and there wasn't another appropriate thread... my ob office doesn't do bloodwork. So I have to sit at lab corp for God knows how long to have routine bloodwork done. It's pretty annoying, especially with a 3 year old. And being pregnant with twins I have to have more bloodwork done than normal. This is going to get old quick.
@cmar1006 You can usually schedule appointments at LabCorp! Some of my blood work has to be done through Quest instead of my midwives. If I went as a walk-in, anyone who was there before me or had an appointment would be seen first. I never go without an appointment now. Might save you some waiting time!
@cmar1006 My OB office is inside the Naval Hospital so when I go do lab work...it's with all the people too. Sometimes I'm in & out, other times....I'm there forever. Same with the pharmacy. Breathe. lol
@thinkpositive2017 yes! I just discovered that I can make appointments. Such a relief. Fortunately I only spent about an hour there today, so that was not so bad. But my nurse neglected to tell me they ordered my glucose test, so I didn't fast before, so now I have to go back AGAIN. Fun times! Hopefully this will be the only snag in my lab corp visits and the rest will go smoothly.
Eeep! Scheduled my French Wax for next week before DH gets home!! It's getting real as hell! Now if only my laundry would put itself away and the house would just clean itself before he gets home.
@jena333 it's a snug fit. Not tight, but just how you would want it to fit. I would probably do OK in a large, too, but I always feel like the medium is just snug enough and the large is just a little too big. I rather have it fit and stretch out a little.
If you have Amazon prime you could order one of each size and just return whatever doesn't fit!
I AM SO HAPPY I COULD CRY! DH is on his week off and offered to take over bedtime... last night he went to our room with DS and I went to the guest room by myself... first of all this was my first night in seven months without a baby attached to my boob... I slept SO GREAT. Second, they slept from 9:30 (when DH got home from training at the fire station) until FOUR IN THE MORNING. They came in and asked me to come back to bed, I nursed him back to sleep ONE TIME and then we slept until 7:40!!!!!!! I was so shocked!!! I'm so happy! We've got six more nights to improve on this.... I just had to share because I'm so freakin excited about this!!!
Rant: So I told everyone in my immediate office a couple weeks ago that I was pregnant, and slowly it's been spreading throughout the other offices. One of the ladies I used to work with came up to me and offered her congratulations and then said that this was bad timing because my husband just got a new job and we had just bought a house. I straight up told her we had been trying for a baby for 8 months and this was perfect timing. Another guy made a comment about how we were moving fast. We've been married almost two years! How is that fast? I'm just really glad that I no longer have to deal with a lady who told me not to have kids because I would hate them (I almost slapped her because we had been trying for about 3 months at that point.)
I'm at the Eric Church concert. On the floor. My feet are ded so I sat down. Then closed my eyes for a second. Fell asleep. Woke up because some drunk dink split his beer on me. Left immediately and am sitting in the truck waiting for the concert to end so my drunk passengers can leave and we can all go home.

Edited to add: well, it says an XL is a size 10-12. So that doesn't help me. But maybe someone else will benefit from the answer :P
If you have Amazon prime you could order one of each size and just return whatever doesn't fit!
GUYS I'M FREAKING OUT THAT I WILL KNOW THE SEX SOON!!!.. for the 3rd time today. In case you missed it elsewhere.
