Well, I think I have a hemorrhoid...or hemorrhoids...anyway, I don't remember having any straining going on, just feeling a little weird. Anyway, it sucks if that's what it is!
And acid reflux is rearing its ugly head this morning! Made it all the way up this time instead of just settling in my throat...yep definitely a TMI for me this week!

I had a really bad cold a couple weeks ago that never really went away. 3 days ago my cold symptoms all came back in full force along with a slight fever and chills. Last night I woke up drenched in sweat, but no more fever! I felt disgusting and I had to wake H up so I could change the sheets before taking a shower and going back to sleep. I put a waterproof mattress pad under my side of the bed before putting new sheets on. Hopefully my temp stays normal now.
Does anyone else feel like the bottom part of their uterus is ripping away? I have so much pressure and pain in my lower abdomen from the left to the right side. It feels like my uterus is tearing apart. It's not contractions but it sure hurts from time to time. Especially after bending over or going up stairs. Babygirl likes to hang out low.
Also, had my first two hemorrhoids of this pregnancy. GD diet is messing with my normal schedule. Thankfully they didn't hurt bad and cleared up quickly. Thank the stars for flushable wipes!
@fbmandy55 I don't know if this is the same thing or not, but I've definitely been feeling a ripping/tearing sensation this week on the sides of my belly. The first time was after I twisted quickly, and it was a sharp ripping jab. It's really uncomfortable, but I assume it's just muscle stretching too quickly as we grow?
@WombThereItIs I lost part of mine a few weeks ago. That was a first for me and also involved googling. This pregnancy is full of surprises.
@jayandaplus I'm not sure. I don't remember it happening last time. I was induced and after getting the epidural I had my bloody show. I don't if that was part it or not. I didn't notice it happened any earlier than that.
@BabyMC517 I just became part of the hemorrhoid club a couple days ago as well! As if all the other issues weren't glorious enough!
my other TMI, which is probably shared with many others, I. CAN. NOT. STOP. PEEING. MYSELF... when I laugh, cough, sneeze, stand up to quickly, ...... I wear pantyliners, but it just sucks...
@BeachMommy2B they suck! Glad we can all be in the same boat together though! Somehow that makes it a little bit better haha
Regarding peeing yourself...here's another TMI for ya! Over the weekend I went pee started to wipe and get up and all of a sudden a little more pee came out and I had no idea! No sensation or anything...WTH?!? So weird...and I've definitely had the "snissing" as the bump so elegantly put it (sneezing an pissing).

This isn't necessarily TMI, but it's more than most people want to hear and it made me LOL. I'm normally an A cup. With DS, I never got bigger than a C, but I'm currently busting out of those and needing to go buy D's. Last night, DS was snuggling up to me and put his head on my chest. He stopped, looked up at me and says "soft, mama, soft" and then started petting my giant, swollen boobs. It gave me a good giggle.
Count me in for the hemorrhoid club! I've always had issues with them, but it literally feels like there's a cut on my anus and I had DH double check for me and nope, it's just really that bad.
Also not so much TMI, but WTF, why am I nauseated this morning?! I thought we were past this...
Walked a block from my garage to work and peed no sensation of it went right through my pad and everything I was like umm did my water break or did I pee. Had to borrow undies and another pad from a Co worker who I trust and had a random clean set. Very weird. I never saw my mucous plug with ds and my water broke at the hospital while I was peeing on a bed pan so I feel like I barely know how it feels to have it happen lol
Why do all these pregnancy related words have to sound so gross? Mucus plug... bloody show...
I continue to pee myself constantly. And oh the gas. Its not so much smelly, just always present and loud. I feel I need to hold it in while in with my clients, which inevitably gives me gas pains.
@OmegaRose3@skeetied - Do y'all have any good suggestions for Iron supplements? (Brands/regular vs slow/time of day to take) I was told I needed one, but I took it once and felt like DEATH. I know it's important, but so is making it through daily activities.
@emilyalso Another tip for taking iron supplements is to take it with Vitamin C. It helps the iron actually get absorbed, which cuts down on side effects.
I don't recall seeing a MP last pregancy so if it came out beforehand then I didn't notice. Or may it did in the MOTN and I just couldn't see.
Just so much gas here. They seem to be worse when I'm sleeping and it gets trapped and will only come out when I try to roll to the other side while in gas pain. It's awful. And last night DD was sick coughing so that kept us up. And I had to let a couple rip while I knew DH wasn't full asleep. Oops. Gotta let it out though!
@fbmandy55 - Yes! This baby is so much lower that my DD was (and this baby is head down whereas DD was breach) and I feel constant pressure. It's like there's a bowling ball hanging out VERY low down there.
@skeetied I didn't think of it before, but that's probably the cause, I've been on a new iron supliment for about a week now and my stomachs been mild upset
@emilyalso Currently I'm on a prescription of ferrous sulfate 325mg, but in the past I took generic low dose iron at 125mg (I think) and that wasn't too bad...my OB said they also have an OTC iron in liquid form if this ends up being too harsh on my system so maybe something to look into?
@starphish18 Good to know about the vitamin C...hemorrhoids feel like like you have a throbbing cut and can itch. Usually it's just a sore feeling for me unless they get too out of hand
I know people comment all the time about how well our board seems to get along - especially when hot button issues come up. I think everyone needs a big PAT ON THE BACK for not sharing pictures of their mucus plugs. Well done, ladies. #slowclap
I had the most amazing poop yesterday! Right after I was hanging out with my husband and he was like "why are you in such a good mood?" I think he thought he'd try to take advantage of my good mood and get lucky... I was like I just pooped Haha went on to tell him how amazing it felt!!
I've had on and off diarrhea for about a week and a half now. No cramping or anything. I think I'll call my doctor tomorrow even though I don't really want to because to be honest I'd way rather have this than the constipation I had pretty much the entire first trimester.
@ShadeofGreen816 omg I was literally laughing out loud at your comment.
@Cubslove12 I wondered if it was a normal thing to talk about your bowel movements with your significant other or if my husband and I are just weird. But we both do it and congratulate each other when it's a good one.
I never saw my plug the first time so I have no idea when I lost it. I am noticing what might be some discharge now and then, but it's hard to tell because it just feels kind of slick sometimes when I'm wiping after peeing, but I don't really see anything. So IDK? No odor other than urine, no other symptoms either like burning or itching.
+1 for peeing all the time. I'm wearing thin pads daily. What kills me is even after I have peed, like just walked out of the bathroom and then I sneeze and pee. Really??
It’s not that I don’t like you, it’s that I don’t know you. Stranger Danger.
Re: the iron supplements: @OmegaRose3 had a great suggestion of the liquid form. Worth looking into. I'll also add: beans (eat some yummy hummus daily!), spinach (quick-sautéed with garlic, then a dirty egg scramble on top! so good for breakfast or dinner!), and dried fruits (apricots are a delish snack with iron & fiber, seriously, ftw).
TMI: now that the belly button is getting stretched (but not necessarily popped out), I can finally pick out the decades-old belly button lint that's in there. So gross. So satisfying.
@SWE2 I guess my H and I are oversharers in that regard too. I sometimes get texts from him during the day "I just got paid to poop" or "2 o'clock poo o'clock". It definitely makes it easier to have it out in the open than try to pretend no one does it.
I was having major gas pain last night but didn't know it at the time. No position was comfortable. Right side, left side, sitting up, on all fours, walking around... plus I couldn't breathe. I was for real crying like a little baby. Then my nose was super clogged. Ugh. MH was so patient with me. Encouraged me not to cry, rubbed my back and was telling me what an amazing job I was doing for our son. I was so tired I finally gave up and laid down in bed. Then I totally ripped one and felt SO much better.

I went to triage the other day, because the stomach pain was so awful. It was cramping, I could feel it radiating through my lower back. Felt like menstrual cramps. Baby wasn't moving very well. Basically almost every sign of pre-term labor, and so I went in. No contractions. And of course baby started dancing as soon as the monitors were on. I was told it was likely "bad round ligament pain", and sent home. Was told it would subside. It still hurts. I'm over it.

Yep. That is definitely what I saw.
I know its meaningless and it regenerates but I feel like in both the toilet paper discovery and the googling I hit two pregnancy milestones today.

@OmegaRose3 My stomach is so upset from the massive dose of iron that my midwife put me on. It feels like the first trimester all over again.

I've got gas that rivals my husband's lactose intolerance, a leaky left boob, and heartburn that's so bad it makes me gag. Funnn!
