What's brightening your mood at the end of this week?

2) DH and I decided to have a date night tonight - going to use a restaurant gift card we've had for a while. Trying to get these in before it becomes way more difficult soon...
3) I'm going to a Mardi Gras parade tomorrow and I looked up a bunch of recipes for yummy mocktails so I'm not grumpy that everyone around me is drinking. Now I'm excited to try them!
4) My colleagues threw me a baby shower yesterday. DH got to come and it was just really lovely. Feeling very fortunate to be surrounded by wonderful people.
5) I have next Tuesday off for Mardi Gras! (still have to come in Monday which is weird, but whatever) I'm not hardcore enough to go to any parades that day, so it'll probably involve a lot of me relaxing and trying to check things off my to do list.
2. Started assembling the stroller and car seat today!
3. My dog is a champ at the vet. She's a high strung and wiggly critter, but she loves the vet and sits quietly and patiently for her weight and toenail trim and shots and to have her heart listened to and ears and eyes looked at. The vet must be magic.
4. I'm trying not to freak out on DH for the snail's pace at which he's progressing in the nursery so I'll celebrate that the ceiling is all done and we got a new ceiling fan and now the trim and walls are next. He's perfectionistic so it takes him a long time and he won't let me help! I may end up buying the paint for the walls and getting started anyway but I'm glad it's the weekend and he'll hopefully make a lot of progress!
5. Still excited about having had one baby shower and now having stuff to wash, even if I can't put it away yet. I have three baby showers in two weeks from weeks 34-36! Then it'll be a mad dash to organize it all and buy what's left with the completion discount but I'm excited.

2. Even better than #1, DH finally received money from unemployment! And they were so behind in paying him that it is quite a nice chunk of money!!
3. My baby shower is tmrw and I'm so excited to see family and friends and celebrate Samuel.
4. Baseball season started! DS had his first practice with his team last night. I love baseball season.
5. DH's birthday is Sunday and because of #2, I'm going out tonight to buy him a birthday present. The man constantly complains that he has no clothes. All he wears are white or black t shirts. So I'm going to go buy him about 5 white tees, 5 black tees, and some hats. I was originally going to buy him our local NBA team hat. But now I know what team the boys will be on for baseball, I'm going to buy him a hat for each team so he can be the loving, supportive dad that he is.
Y'all! This is one of the best, happiest Friday's I've had in awhile!

2. DS is actually taking a nap, which makes me feel ten times better about his level of crazy for our friend tonight.
3. I got our infant car seat washed and as soon as I sneak away from DS I'll be reassembling it and can check a big item off our getting ready list.
4. I've been nesting online. I used our completion discount to buy a nursing tank, a car mirror, a box of breast pads, a jar of brewers yeast, and a belly casting kit.
5. I found a vet who will do a dental procedure on my 11 year old dog and not charge $49765 for it, so doggie won't have gunky teeth and I have one less thing to worry about.
2) fantastic weather today - 70 degrees and sunny in PA in February
3) DH finally home tonight after traveling for work all week. I am so over solo parenting.
4) got my car cleaned this morning - it was disgusting
5) pretty low key weekend with just a few basketball games for my older kiddos and a casual birthday celebration for my BIL (only 5 minutes down the street at my inlaws).
2) Baby shower tomorrow!
3) New clothes for the shower tomorrow despite feeling and looking like a blimp.
4) Spending time with family.
5) Sleeping in tomorrow.
It's going to be a great weekend!
2. The 6-12 inches of snow we were supposed to get never came!
3. I got a free pizza because I help chaperone the middle school dance after school today.
4. DH and I are planning to get a lot of projects done around the house this weekend.
5. It only took 35 weeks, but people are finally telling me I look cute with my bump instead of making rude comments.
6. I get to sleep in tomorrow AND I decided I'm having donuts for breakfast.

2. It was 80 yesterday, so I got I wore a tank top and sandals on my daily walk. It was really wonderful.
3. After my licensure advancement request was rejected, it looks like it should go through this time...so yay not getting fired at the end of this semester!
4. We went to the opening night of a friend's restaurant last night. It was packed, the food was good, and she looked very happy.
5. We are getting new laptops next semester and one of the choices is a Mac. We are a Mac family. Right now I just don't use the laptop the school gave me mostly because it's junky. If I got a Mac from the school, it would make my life so, so, so, so much better. Keep your fingers crossed that my colleagues make the right choice!
2. Started my freezer meal stash by doubling what I've been making for dinner. Have a lasagna and a unstuffed peppers casserole so far
3. Sale at target means I can use my completion discount on top of the 10% off sale.. yay!
4. We're finally getting ahead on our bills and have started paying down our debt.
5. Going out with some friends for lunch tomorrow
