So obviously the top left is my foot, my sister has the same one on her opposite foot. Bottom left is my lower left back, haha I got it on my 21st birthday because I just liked it! The right is my bird, with the tail shaded the color of my son's birthstone! Forgive my looking like crap.. haha it's snowing and I didn't feel like doing my hair or getting out of yoga pants!

I have a cancer awareness ribbon with angel wings on the back of my right hip. I have a skeleton key on the front of my left hip. And I have an origami Crane on my left shoulder blade - the American Suicide Awareness & Prevention Society uses the crane which is the international symbol of hope for the hope to end all suicide.
And i want a bunch more, but professionalism and cost has held me back a little. Also DH has virgin skin, he's not anti tattoo he just doesnt get it. I've also had a bunch of piercings. I was the "bad girl" that he brought home to mom and dad haha.
I only have one, and it's a HP tattoo on the back of my neck. I adore it. I actually had an appointment to get my second tattoo on my 30th birthday (a pair of anatomical lungs with two flowers that look like their from an old timey botanical text book- it was going to be a memorial of the babies we've lost), but I got my BFD 4 days before that, so no tattoo for me right now. After this baby comes, I plan to get their heartbeat tattooed down my ribcage below my heart, as well as the tattoo I was going to get before.

I have 3...Winnie the Pooh on bikini line, Japanese symbol meaning "dream" on my tailbone (can we say tramp stamp!? Lol) and a sun with a tiny heart on the inside of my ankle. The Japanese one I got on the millenium New Year with a friend I lost on 9/11 (he was on the first plane) so its sentimental. The other two were somewhat whims in college.

Only some of my tattoos have meanings, others don't I still like them though. Also, my Husband does/used to do tattoos and he's done all of mine
Just got my 1/4 sleeve "finished" this month (yes. While pregnant. It's totally fine.... I have a lengthy explanation if sanctimommies want to argue). When we are done having kids, I'll add smaller goldfish to continue as a half or full sleeve. Haven't decided yet.

Ok I LOVE the signature one, so very special! My sister and I have my dads "I love you, daddy" signature from a card he wrote us before he passed, engraved on bracelets and were just waiting to go get this tattooed on.
I have two large tattoos, would like more, but I'm cheap and good tattoos are not. One is a pansy orchid on one side of my back and it stretches from bikini line to bra line. The other is art nouveaux inspired and is a mixture of flora and fauna. It starts at my spine covering my shoulder blade and shoulder cap.

@BecauseLove yes. I had one touched up bc i had an allergic reaction to the lotion they gave me and it ruined the tattoo. I went back to a different artist to add color and touch it up, i love it more now. He did mention that if i went back to the original artist he'd probably touch it up for free.
@BecauseLove I haven't had any of mine touched up but the artist who did my back does Free touch ups for life on all of his work. Also @labby18 what did they give you to put on it?! DH and I have used aquaphor on all of ours and they heal up awesome. You're not allergic to that are you? I've also heard A&D ointment works. Never ever Vaseline tho!
@wyomama0427 it was like my 2nd tattoo...8 years ago. I think it was something called black kat idk. I use lubiderm or aquaform for my 1st tat and all others. That time i decided to just go with what the guy gave me, he was obviously just pushing a product.
Oh I hate when they push stuff at you. Like no thanks I've got a giant tub of aquaphor at home that will suffice lol! Anyone had experience with that tattoo removing lotion wrecking balm? I've got a stupid little heart tattoo on my hip I'd like to get rid of lol

Also @labby18 what did they give you to put on it?! DH and I have used aquaphor on all of ours and they heal up awesome. You're not allergic to that are you? I've also heard A&D ointment works. Never ever Vaseline tho!
