    Hyperemesis Gravidarum

Everything that goes in has been coming out since 7 weeks.

Slightly better than the way it was with my son but still...Hyperemesis Gravidarum.

  • @CynOkwu I am so sorry! I can't even imagine how miserable that is  :s I hope it lets up soon!
  • 11+3
    The constipation is freakin miserable.
Also (so at my first appointment the nurse feeling my uterus told me it's already feeling the size of like 13 weeks, not surprised since it was giant with DS too) anyway, today I have been feeing some stretching in my c-section incision area, I don't know if it's from my uterus rising and putting pressure on all that scar tissue or what. It's still fairly new, I had my c section in January of 2016.
My chest has now joined my face and back in breaking out like I'm back in junior high.
Still bloated but I've got a feeling it's not going to go away because my uterus is already rising up. So that's fun. My pants are all too tight :( and my sister has my favorite pair of maternity jeans :(
  • @daniellelynette I've been breaking out so bad too. My face neck and back are the worst!!!

My biggest complaint this week is the never ending headache I have had and some kind of sickness on top of it. Sore throat, congestion and white patches in my throat. Thank goodness I took today off cause I would not be a happy camper if I was at work lol.
  • @Msashley2010 l had a never ending migraine with DS... it was hell. The only thing I could do was take Tylenol drink caffeine and hold it off for a few hours but it always came back.. I had it for like three weeks!!! It was HELL!!! I am sorry you have one too :(:( I had a really awful migraine with an aura yesterday and I was terrified that I'm going to start the never ending migraine again. I can't do it this time not with my one year old who needs constant supervision. I refuse to go through that again
  • 10+4

Im starting to get headaches right before bed every night but at least they aren't all day like they were with DS.

Nausea is literally every other day now. On days I don't have nausea I'm able to get my 10,000 steps...then I pay for it the next day with all day nausea. It's a viscous cycle but at least it's not every day anymore.

Nausea seems to be easing up (except for Thursday night and Friday, but I'm starting to think I had some kind of bug.)

    Constpation sucks.

Edit- how could I forget the constant burping? So annoying... and gross.

  • Gassy as heck.  Still tired and totally unmotivated.  Last night, my H made a pot roast for dinner in the slow cooker, and I walked in from church and nearly yakked from the smell.  The smell sensitivity/aversion has been new for me this pregnancy.

Fatigue starts mid day that lasts until I go to bed at night.
Gagging here and there but nausea seems to be letting up a bit.
I was getting headaches before bed but for the past 3 days the headache seems never ending :(
    Cramping here and there.

  • 10w3d here - I've been having crazy vivid dreams for a few weeks, they get crazier each night. My boobs are sore, especially noticed when I'm trying to sleep since I'm a tummy sleeper :/ I'm finally starting to feel some extra energy but still starving within an hour or two of eating. Other than that, that's it for me. My other two pregnancies were identical to this one and I have a son and daughter so I never get to participate in "does this symptom mean I'm having a boy or girl" lol.
  • 9+3. The exhaustion is not letting up. Also, nausea is back. I'm not actually throwing up, but constantly feel like I might. My friend told me on Saturday that 9-10 weeks is supposed to be the worst. I hope that's true, because it is pretty bad. Very unmotivated, but need to work. My boss is out in FMLA and I am covering about a third of her work and all of mine. It takes 4 lawyers to replace her. She does so much.

Pregnancy rhinitis.  It just sucks.  Ive been suffering through it but i'm thinking about getting back on zyrtec.. it just makes me a hazy mess.  The tiredness is subsiding a little bit.  I've started dry-heaving, but no actual vomit yet.  No nauseated feelings, which is a huge win in my mind.  :)

  • 10wks 1day. The fatigue/exhaustion is unreal. I just vacuumed the living room and started getting really warm and out of breath. I am now half dressed laying on the couch trying to recover. As manly as my burps are they give me instant relief from feeling like I'm going to puke. So I'll take it. I just feel bleh 90% of the time, I am pretty sure DH thinks I'm being melodramatic...and he said as excited as he is to come home in like 2wks, he really hopes the roller coaster that make up my emotions will be chilled out by then. Jerk.
  • @Msashley2010 I don't want to speak too soon but I've been using this bar soap my friend sent me and it's AMAZING. So far it's actually helping the acne on my back and somewhat on my face too! It's made with all organic ingredients (she's a total hippie lol) but it's WORKING!!!! I'll attach a picture. I've never used bar soap on my face but I just use a little scrubby pad I got with a different face wash that I can't use now and it's amazing. I do have to use a moisturizer or it makes my face dry but I love it. And there's different scents and unscented too I think. You can find it on amazon.

Exhausted, nauseous, gassy and emotional. Hot mess lol I'm cramping a little today which I don't like, always scares me. But I'm sure it's just everything stretching in there.

  • Thank you @daniellelynette! I'll have to get myself a bar! I'm desperate. Lol
  • 10 + 5

I'm still riding the exhaustion train.
So gassy - my kinders find it hilarious.
    Emotional.
So many pee trips throughout the day and night.
My super spidy sense of smell is killing me still.
  • @SugarRush I soooooo feel you on the rhinitis! It's the most annoying thing ever, I am awake blowing my nose every night from 3 am-4am and always end up putting a tissue paper bullet up one of my nostrils so the snot doesn't literally drip down my face at night. Oh and this is after Zyrtec and a neti pot! Uggghhhh!!!

    11+6

see above for pregnancy rhinitis aka pain in the ass. Also still so tired! Second tri, I'm waiting for you my love!
  • 11+1 The exhaustion is unreal, and almost all day. The nausea is not lightening up, but I agree with @lahearn18 that the constant burping is gross, but at least it seems to keep me from vomiting. My emotions are all over the place, as is my scattered brain. In the brief reprieves from my nausea afforded me by my medicine, I'm so hungry it's like living with a teenage boy. I still pee all the time, and I'm so constipated, though the probiotics I'm taking help me poop every three days instead of every four, so that's exciting.

  • @daniellelynette I used that soap a few weeks ago when I broke out into a rash.  It is amazing!
  • @Msashley2010 let me know how you like it!! @JustBored10 it really is magic soap!

@lap018  Omg, I'm literally up at the exact same time, nightly!!!!  I've even caved and threw some Flonase up my nose once this past week because it went real rogue.  We've had a bit of a 'heatwave' here in Chicago so my heat has been off the past 3 nights and my symptoms weren't as bad... so now I'm wondering if I need to do a better clean job to get the dust out?  The struggle is real.

Thankfully the nausea is starting to thin out. It still comes and goes, but not as bad as before. I just wish these migraines would go away. It seems nothing helps. Going on four days of mind searing headaches is killing me. I've tried caffeine, sugar, drinking tons of water... Ugh!

  • I was dx with HG last week and had to receive IV fluids. I am 9 weeks today and feeling some improvement. I am currently taking 2 diclegis at bedtime and 1-2 zofran during the day. This keeps me from vomiting and allows me to eat pretty normally. I've also been experiencing some hip pain and right side sciatic pain.

Still exhausted, queasy all the time, some dry heaving, nothing sounds good to eat, can barely tolerate drinking any liquids so dehydrated and dry mouth. And still a little tender when DS nurses. Really struggling to keep my sanity with feeling miserable 24/7, especially since last time I was sick the whole time (but it wasn't this bad).

  • This afternoon I was feeling all pleased with myself that my nausea wasn't so bad today... then for the last several hours I have been suffering with what I guess is heartburn/acid reflux??? It feels like food is stuck in the base of my throat. This has never happened to me before. Bah humbug.

11+3 ... Still fatigued, but the nausea isn't as bad. I started Diclegis several weeks ago and I think it helped the nausea. The worst symptom is depression, which I haven't seen many people talk about (even though it appears to be as common as PPD per my research). I was referred to a therapist who specializes in prenatal and postpartum depression and I am going to call her tomorrow morning. I wanted to talk to someone before I decided to start on an antidepressant. I hope that we all start feeling better in the next few weeks!

@HollyGolightly09 I can't get rid of the awful taste in my mouth either

@biglauryo did you suffer with depression before or this new? I've suffered with depression and anxiety for years and had bad PP anxiety with my son. I've been depressed since before I got pregnant dealing with the traumatic loss of my brother. anyways, I think it's good that your reaching out and seeking help. I've made an appointment with a new counselor to start in a couple weeks.
  • @HollyGolightly09 My mouth always has a bad taste too.

I'm also having lots of lower back pain tonight. I've had some of this already, and I know it's most likely because my uterus is still straightening itself out. But damn, it's really uncomfortable and disconcerting.

You are not alone. HG here as well.

  • 10 weeks, throwing up multiple times a day. If I drink too much water I throw up and it's giving me dehydration headaches. Any suggestions on staying hydrated? I was drinking Gatorade, but it didn't really help the headaches.

Both @daniellelynette and I have been suffering from hip/tailbone pain. I had to stop wearing heels to work and I switched desk chairs. We both ordered a coccyx support cushion for our bums. I've found I have to balance how much walking around and how much sedentary time because to much activity and lack of activity both make it hurt. I take 2 tylenol at night also. After adjusting all that, I'd say that it's actually starting to die down, i think/hope.
  • Umm...total freak out moment. I have been feeling horrible today and now I'm feeling crampy and being by myself and having PGAL brain is not helping. I know cramping can be normal but I'm freaking out.
