Here's to praying no one stuck with crazy amounts of snow goes into labour early! I managed to get out of my driveway and was stuck for a good 5 minutes in over a foot of snow with my 3 year old. We had over a foot of snow around 3 and it hasn't stopped snowing heavy since. I got stuck 4 times on my way to my in-laws and back.. FIL went out and cleaned off my car so I could leave and it took me an extra 15-20 minutes to get myself and DD out and the car was FULL again. Just crazy out there, and I can't imagine my midwife having to rush from out of town to make it to me on a night like tonight!! Here's a picture from this afternoon over 8 hours ago.. hoping the snow stops soon!

  • @Cbeanz it's weird but my DS had the same thing! 104+ fever and a virus. Luckily it was only once that it got that high and it broke within a couple days, but it scared me so bad!
  • @C25 sorry to hear you dealt with the same scare! But thanks for sharing. I'd never seen a fever so high in my kids before. Really hoping the worst is over.
  • It's midnight. I hate that I'm still awake. Insomnia plus irritating cramps :(

I can't believe I still have potentially a month to go! (Pity party, table of one!)

  • @longliveregina I had that exact feeling about a couple of weeks ago. It was so bad that I actually emailed my doctor about the pain telling her I don't know how I was going to be pregnant for another month. I'm so happy I have at the most 10 more days to go.
  • @longliveregina I experienced some cramping last night as well and wondered if I was going to make it another 4 weeks. This kid cannot come early! I had to lay down and take some deep breaths and that helped. I'll join you at your pity party.
  • So, my regular OB is on vacation until the end of next week. Due to Thursday night's issues, I had to go see my doctor on Friday after I left the hospital. She had me do some tests and told me to keep my Monday appointment with one of the other OBs at the clinic.
The good news is that my tests came back fine. I don't have preeclampsia, though there is some protein in my urine so they'll be monitoring my blood pressure very closely. The bad news is that the other OB is a man (which weirds me out to no end anyway) and he reminds me of my old principal from school, who was a total perv. I am supposed to see this doctor again next week, but I'm honestly incredibly tempted to skip the appointment because this dlctor creeps me out so much.
  • Just here to report that I purchased the COMFIEST maternity/nursing bra off of Amazon for $24. The material is so soft and breathable that I cried when I put it on. I haven't been wanting to spend a fortune on bras because I have no idea what my boobs are going to be like when my milk comes in and I took a gamble with this purchase. Just sharing the link in case anybody else is needing to pick one up!

Edit- Hyperlink didn't work. Link hereL https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0166EB7FA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@EALasagna45 Oh my gosh you weren't kidding!  The bra I purchased came in yesterday so I wore it last night and I love it so much that I already ordered a second one!! Great find!

  • @EALasagna45 I ordered one too and it'll be here today! I'm just scared that it won't fit properly since they didn't have my exact size so I'm crossing my fingers that it'll still work.
  • Woo hoo-I'm glad to hear you're digging it as much as I do @SienaC! I don't think I've ever worn a comfier bra in my life; it's magical.

@kiyamurph I hope you like it too! I was unsure of what size to get as well so I sized up and it's seriously perfect. I hope it works out for you

  • @EALasagna45 I tried my sleep bra on and it's AMAZING! It's unbelievably soft and so much better than the ones that I got from Motherhood last time. I actually ordered one from Motherhood online since all bras were on sale but I'm taking that puppy back when it comes in and getting a couple more of the ones from Amazon!
  • @EALasagna45 I took your suggestion and got a 2 pack of those bras and they are SOOOO much more comfortable, thanks for sharing! They even sent me a coupon code for that brand's Seamless Sublime bra, which I'm going to try. The coupon code is SBBRAS15 for anyone interested, and they're actually on sale right now too, so the coupon is on top of them already being on sale. I'm hoping these ones are just as comfy!

  • DH decided that our 2 year old DD was going to be potty trained tonight. So far she has peed twice on the floor, pooped on the floor, and once in the potty. This last time with poo on her leg and floor, he was trying to clean and I told him she has poop on her leg so she needs a bath. He said "you're the parent too"... I just shook my head at him. Last thing I want to do at 9 months pregnant with contractions every time I bend over is potty train my child who has no interest in it. Sorry hubby, your idea, you clean up after it. I'm perfectly fine right now with poop staying in a diaper.

I'm with you, lady. Everything I have ever read says to potty train months ahead of time or just cool it with potty training until well after the birth. 9 months = not the time
