As for the open circle- I literally temped 20 minutes earlier than usual. I don't know why that would create an open circle. It's the same for cd18
@Brooklyngirl6 - Rocky BBTs can definitely make it more difficult to predict, but FF is typically good about adjusting its calculations as it goes. I've had FF change its mind twice in a cycle after its initial CH. A little extra BD won't hurt though JIC

Mentally, I am trying to work through the uncertainty of this TTC journey and trying to not go too far the doom and gloom path.

@dragonfly87 We got halfway through Stranger Things. We are very into sci-fi/ fantasy so I don't know if that's your thing. If so I also recommend Black Mirror. We just finished that and I really liked it. It's a bit futuristic and really makes you stop and think about where we are headed. Also each episode is stand alone so you can watch in any order. Also FX to you whether you decide to test today or wait it out.
@safire3: Thanks for the response. I have heard good things about Stranger Things, so we will check it out. I decided to test...BFFN. Great way to start a Sunday...
Testing: confession: I tested yesterday for drinking purposes. BFN. I even googled my internet cheapie tests and convinced myself to use one of my expensive FR tests. Another BFN. Dipped another test this morning literally seconds before AF arrived.
R/R: guys, we're shifting to NTNP. I need a break, and literally everyone I know who has been KU says to stop trying so hard. I figure why not at this point. DH will still do a repeat SA in March or April, but I'm going to focus on non TTC things like getting back into riding (horses) and fitness.
I can't kid myself, I'll still be around love titting and commenting cuz you guys are just the best and I'm sure I couldn't stay away.
@lund Hugs friend. Sorry to hear it. I hope NTNP is the ticket for you guys as yh makes lifestyle changes that impact him. Don't be a stranger if you ever need us
Have some questions for you ladies. I know we are still early on in our TTC journey, but with cycle 6 likely starting tomorrow, I am starting to think about a few things. I know a lot will say to TTC for one year before seeking RE help, but TCOYF suggest starting some testing if you try for 6 cycles with well timed sex. We have managed really great timed sex for 5 cycles and we will see what happens next month.
I am just wondering, when did some of you start (i.e., cycle/month) to have some tests done? Like SAs, blood work etc? I am still trying to stay optimistic, but also developing a mental timeline of what I would do next if we get to a certain cycle. I don't know if I could wait until the 1 year mark without some kind of action plan.
Testing: DHs bday is 3/5, I know it's insane but there is a small part of me that wants to test on his bday

@dragonfly87 I think the official recommendation is 1 yr if you are under 35 and 6 months if 35 or over. However I think it depends a lot on the RE and I definitely see lots of ladies here starting testing around the 6 month mark regardless of age. Personally, I waited for the 1 year even though I am close to 35 and I regret it now. The testing itself takes at least 1 month if everything goes perfectly. For us, due to difficulty scheduling everything it will probably take us 2 months to get all the testing done. Our RE wants us to get everything done then come back to meet with him with all the results and make a plan. Also due to the cost of treatment and our insurance not covering it, if everything is ok with the testing, my DH wants us to try a few more months on our own. I kind of feel like this is something we should have done months ago. Not to mention if there is something wrong I will feel like we wasted so much time and effort for nothing. *sigh* I hope this long rant help you in some way.
Thanks for the response! Definitely helpful. Sorry it has taken a while on scheduling testing. That is something I would want to be cognizant of because there are only a few REs in our area. I have no idea what my insurance would or wouldn't cover either.
@dragonfly87 to add to what @safire3 said, interestingly my PCP said after 6 months of trying she would want me to see an RE as I turned 35 this month, however my new gyn said after a year. That said, I have learned a lot from these ladies and my gut says if this month isn't our month I will be setting up an appt with an RE. I don't personally feel comfortable waiting a year given my age.
R/R: I'm having a hard time staying in my hopeful bubble. The urge to POAS is getting strong but the fear or seeing a BFN has kept me from giving in. Today is a hard TTC day. I want time to stop I don't want to be at the end of my TTC journey, but time keeps marching forward. TW*** I was already a bit emotional this morning then at church I saw a member who is now obviously pregnant, I did not know she was pregnant. It pushed me over the edge. I barely held it together getting out of church and then ugly cried all the way home. End TW. Oh and both kiddos have been sick all weekend.

@dragonfly87 I don't think it's usually recommended to go to an RE before 1 year unless you have abnormal test results etc, but it doesn't hurt to ask your regular doctor to start basic testing. If everything comes back clear, I'd wait until the 1 year mark.
@wabash15 sorry you're having a rough day. I've seen numerous pregnant ladies the past week and it's getting increasingly difficult. Hugs, lady. And I hope your kiddos start feeling better real soon!

@dragonfly87 There is no reason to see an RE sooner than a year if you are under 35 unless you think something is wrong. I know you thought something was concerning about your thyroid, right? Get that checked out with your PCP/endocrinologist first. There is no reason to see an RE when you have a separate issue being investigated -- all they're going to tell you is to wait until your thyroid is sorted and try TTC after that. Going prematurely is a waste of your time/money and is a waste of the RE's time for people who really need to see him or her.
@adirat: Oh I wasn't planning to see an RE. My response to safire3 may have been confusing. I was just saying if I needed to see one, scheduling would be difficult since there are few in our area. My plan would be to have testing done through my OB first. The lab is backlogged for my results (only one lab in our area), so I am waiting to hear back on thyroid tests.
@dragonfly87 I don't think it hurts to start testing early. Part of me wishes we had started it earlier even though I'm only 29. We're at 14 months and still no explanation for why we can get pregnant.
@wabash15 I know how you feel. The past week it seems like every little thing can set me off emotionally and I'm not an emotional person. Staying hopeful is not easy.
@WillRunForWine21 we went to Disney last June and I kept thinking I was going to be pregnant on the trip. Obviously that didn't happen but at least I got to go on all the rides. Have a wonderful time on your trip!

I'm not against IF treatment or anything but I don't think it's something I would do. Of course that's a decision for me to make with DH, not just by myself. R/R: I think we are going to go out to brunch today. There's a great place near our apartment that just started doing brunch, and it's wonderful. They also do an amaaaaazing mimosa special, but I'm trying not to drink so much for egg quality, and unlimited mimosas for $12 does not seem like a good choice.
CS/Q: Honestly I just want my period to start already so we can get to our medicated cycle. I have never wished for my period to start early before, but I sure am now.
GTKY:
1. Pay off all my student loans
2. When we move this summer, we'd buy instead of rent
3. Do IVF

@WillRunForWine21 Sorry about the bfn. Hugs to you and I know exactly what you mean. At this point I'd give up all the wine, sushi and coffe in the world to have a baby so it really doesn't cheer me up much. I hope on your trip though you can really relax and have some fun.
Sorry for the bfn @FLAshley. Hugs to you
@BertieMeetsGertie Your chart looks really good. I would be super excited too. FX for you!
@adirat Have fun at brunch. I wanted to go to brunch today but DH went to play basketball this morning instead. I was definitely planning on having a couple mimosas myself.
Month/Cycle:12/13
CD/DPO:19/5
Timing:-4 to +1
Testing: no plan yet
R/R: Nothing much today. Should be a quiet day at home. DH and I stayed up until 3:30 binging a Netflix show last night. Will probably finish today. Hopefully wont be up so late though because he is off tomorrow for Presidents' Day but I am not.
CS/Q:nope
GTKY: If you won a ridiculous amount of money (like 300 million) what would be the top 3 things you would do with it?
- pay off all debt like mortgage, cars, credit cars
- gift a portion to family and charity
- travel the world
adirat Ugh, that's a tough decision to make. Unlimited mimosas for so cheap...would be very hard to resist.
@BertieMeetsGertie Even though 9dpo is early, FX that the rise above 98 is a great sign!!!
FLAshley Sorry for the BFN
@WillRunForWine21 Sorry for the BFN and that you are going through a rough time. I have no real helpful words of advice, but hugs. I hope Disney is a fun time.
Brooklyngirl6 Sorry, I am not much help on the chart interpretation. But timing looks like it would be good with either O date!
Month/Cycle: 5/5 3TTCAL
CD/DPO: CD 25 / 14 DPO
Timing: -5, -2, -1
Testing: ETA: Update: I got to a 3.5 hour hold and tested: BFFN, looks like AF will be here tomorrow and cycle 6 will begin.
R/R:
Rave: We had fun last night going out to BBQ and playing board games with friends. It was something we hadn't done in a while. My friend (who has a 11 month old) made a comment about "when you are pregnant, yada yada" and I handled it surprisingly well. Mentally, I am trying to work through the uncertainty of this TTC journey and trying to not go too far the doom and gloom path.
Rant: I just woke a little bit ago and I am going to try to stay positive today. Might feel differently after testing, but just going to stick with positivity for the moment.
CS/Q: ETA: not relevant, BFFN
GTKY: If you won a ridiculous amount of money (like 300 million) what would be the top 3 things you would do with it?
1. Invest $250 million and pull off about 5-10% annually to donate to charities, help family and support unique projects
2. Pay off all of our debts and immediate families
3. Endow scholarships at the colleges that DH and I attended for low income, first generation, minority students (we were both recipient of those kind of scholarships)
Also FX to you whether you decide to test today or wait it out.
CD/DPO: AF arrived today
Timing: doesn't matter
FX for my Pee Pact ladies @Dilynne @dragonfly87 !
@FLAshley sorry for the BFN girl

I am just wondering, when did some of you start (i.e., cycle/month) to have some tests done? Like SAs, blood work etc? I am still trying to stay optimistic, but also developing a mental timeline of what I would do next if we get to a certain cycle. I don't know if I could wait until the 1 year mark without some kind of action plan.

Month/Cycle: 5/5
CD/DPO: 19/1
Timing: not bad considering
Testing: DHs bday is 3/5, I know it's insane but there is a small part of me that wants to test on his bday
R/R: I am a bit hungover today, but totally worth it. Made jt through all the family awkwardness with a couple bottles of wine.
It's so gorgeous out here today!
CS/Q: nothing
GTKY: If you won a ridiculous amount of money (like 300 million) what would be the top 3 things you would do with it?
1. Pay off debts (ours and family)
2. Move and buy a new house
3. Some philanthropic endeavour, probably related to women's health
EDD: March 24, 2018 - angel baby at 21 weeks

Timing:-4,IUI,+1
Testing: Wednesday
CS/Q: nope
GTKY: If you won a ridiculous amount of money (like 300 million) what would be the top 3 things you would do with it? pay off all debts, put some in savings, and pick charities to give the rest to
@brooklyngirl6 I do think you O'd but I could be CD 15 or17....
@WillRunForWine21 @FLAshley @dragonfly87 @lund @dilynneso sorry for the BFN
@BertieMeetsGertie thats a pretty chart
@adirat that's how I felt last cycle. enjoy the mimosa!
@jess0211 glad you survived and go here now.
@lund girl do what you have to for your sanity. we're here for you. hugs
@dragonfly87 I think after the 6th month it doesn't hurt to ask for some of the simple things like blood work and an SA.
I'm sending hugs, all the wine and all the chocolate out to all you ladies.

@jess0211 Welcome to TWW!
@wabash15 big hugs girl. I'm so hoping this is it for you!
Month/Cycle: 14/14

Testing: if AF is late
R/R: found out last night that if I end up needing IVF apparently since I work for the hospital system I get it half price!! Even if we needed it we probably wouldn't have been able to do it because of finances but with the price cut it may be more of a reality.
CS/Q: temp dropped a bit today so I'm not hopeful anymore.
GTKY: If you won a ridiculous amount of money (like 300 million) what would be the top 3 things you would do with it? Pay off my house and all debt, pay off my family's debt, buy a car (we only have one now)

CD/DPO: 26/9? Thought it would have been sooner but according to OPK I wasn't at peak until 9 days ago
Timing: -4, -3, -2, 0
Testing: BFN this morning
R/R: I told myself I wouldn't test until AF is late but then really wanted to test this morning. Should've waited... could still be early though I guess but I'm still new to all of this so I'm not even totally sure of everything I'm doing.
CS/Q
GTKY: 1. Pay off our debts/house 2. Payoff our parents and siblings debts 3. Take all of our family on a vacation
Married: 06/28/2014
TTC Since: 02/2017
CD/DPO: 23/5
Timing: -4, -3, -1
Testing: penciled one in for next Friday
R/R: I can't tell if I'm being SUPER moody or if my husband is being an asshat. I've cried like 4 times this weekend cos he keeps using the wrong "tone" with me. He's writing a big paper for school and I'm symptom spotting, natch.
I did pre-order all my live plants and picked out my seeds for my garden today!
CS/Q: Nothin' new here. Still hanging out around 98 F.
GTKY: Of course I'd pay all the debt and buy a dream house somewhere. Then, I dunno, try to figure out the best way to make some good in the world out of it.
FX for you @wabash15 and FX for a DH bday BFP for you @jess0211!
CD/DPO: 18, 5 ish
Timing: EOD
Testing: Not until AF is late
R/R: I have my fasting blood test tomorrow to check for diabetes. I'm not sure what that would mean for us TTC. From what I've read so far it makes TTC difficult and for a risky pregnancy. Lately I've been feeling drawn to adopting, maybe that's why (God's plan and all that, even though I'm not really religious). I'm not against IF treatment or anything but I don't think it's something I would do. Of course that's a decision for me to make with DH, not just by myself. I'm not scared about the impending results though. Of course I very well could be diabetes free but then I think I'll be searching for some other reason as to why I'm not KTFU yet haha.
CS/Q:
GTKY: Pay off debts and my parents' debts and retire my parents and inlaws. Travel a lot. Start community garden programs for inner city areas.
