Symptoms? Lots of BHs, hard to get in/out of bed or chairs etc, tired. Nothing horrible
Rant/Rave/Questions? Hmm, I think I've covered my questions in other threads this week! I have been having freak out moments of I have 7 or less weeks and still so much I'd like to get accomplished before baby arrives so I've told myself to get at least one or two things done every night no matter how small and that's helping me.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite item of clothing you've received or bought for LO? I am just loving seeing all the pink stuff haha! I do love the onsie I got her that says "Best baby sis" and then another that says "Daddy's Princess has arrived" as DH talks about her being "his princess" a lot!
Rant/Rave/Questions? I hate being sick. It makes me so grumpy and angry.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite item of clothing you've received or bought for LO? My sister had an internship in Disney World at the time we found out the gender and got him soo many cute Disney themed outfits while she was there.
Appointments this week? Nothing notable this week. I need to go get my TDAP since I bailed on it last week (I didn't want a sore arm to have when I needed to take DS to swim class )
Symptoms? I'm just really, really tired. Work has me completely burnt out because it's been problem after problem, so I'm running around like a crazy person and it's wearing me out. I think I'm having a lot of BH but I can't feel when they start or stop...I just notice that my belly feels hard a lot of the times that I touch it, haha.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Oy. All of my rants are work related and would completely appall those of you that don't know what working in an underfunded public school is like. I'm about to quit my job (if I could afford to).
GTKY: Do you have a favorite item of clothing you've received or bought for LO? I'm pretty obsessed with her going home outfit. We honestly don't have a lot of stuff for her that isn't hand-me-downs...maybe I should go shopping for her to relieve some of this stress!
Appointments this week? I have a pediatrician meet and greet tomorrow, then a regular checkup Monday.
Symptoms? Oh man, my ankles and feet are super swollen today. Other than that, moving slow, pelvic pressure when I stand up (still no BH though), have to pee all the time, the usual.
Rant/Rave/Questions? Nothing at the moment. Just excited that I have a pretty chill rest of the week and weekend! I've been exhausted at the end of every day.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite item of clothing you've received or bought for LO? We really haven't bought much for her yet and everything we've gotten has been ridiculously adorable. I love her going home outfit though and I also love this onesie we bought for her at Disney over the holidays!
And this is for when she's a bit older because it's 12 month size, but we bought all of our nieces the same shirt and I can't wait for them to take adorable pictures together in them (and it's perfect because DH and I both play the drums):
@SnarkasaurusRex I am with you on the hand-me-downs. My SIL and BIL have three girls and have given us two large tubs full of clothes... and they only go up to 3 months so far so there's much more coming. We're incredibly thankful and there's some seriously cute stuff in there, but BIL's aunt is a buyer for Ralph Lauren and gave them a ton of clothes that frankly I can't see myself putting an infant into (I think SIL felt the same way because much of this stuff doesn't appear to have been washed). I guess I feel like tiny cable knit sweaters might not be worth the effort?
Yes, I saw my OB yesterday for a checkup. Everything is good and I didn't gain any weight from my last appointment (3 weeks ago). I'm happy about that as I'm already up 30lbs.
Symptoms?
I've noticed that my appetite has gone down. I can usually eat a good breakfast and morning snack. Then my lunch time I'll eat but I'm not starving. No afternoon snack and by dinner I'm not really hungry at all but I make myself eat something. Anyone else having this? I second the fatigue setting in by the end of the day. I'm so busy at work and trying to finish all the baby stuff that I go pretty hard all day, everyday. By 8pm I am DONE. lol
Rant/Rave/Questions?
Similar to @mylittleirvz I am starting to have a mini freak out with how soon this baby is coming. I mean he could come in 4 weeks. So I've been frantically getting the baby room organized and washing and unpacking lots of stuff. It's nice seeing everything come together, but I still have lots to do.
GTKY: Do you have a favourite item of clothing you've received or bought for LO? Just as others have said, I am so fortunate in that my older sisters have gifted me a ton of clothes. I am set from newborn to toddler. My mom did make LO a cute outfit for him to go home in. So that is my favourite.

@schef070911 Checking out you Wednesday people today. DD has that shirt. I saw it and had to get it. She is obsessed with drums. My sister is a sort of professional drummer and my DH's best friend is a drummer in a local band. SIL bought her a little mini drum set for her birthday this year. she LOVES it.

@schef070911 I guess I should clarify that I don't mind the hand-me-downs (honestly, it's much less wasteful than going out and getting all new stuff), but my problem is that we've had 4 boys in the last 3 years, so all of the hand-me-downs are boy clothes! I know she's a baby and it's not going to matter to her at all, and I genuinely don't care if she's wearing dinosaur sleepers to bed at night, but I do want her to have more "girly" things than we've got right now, if that makes sense, haha. I don't want her to look back at her baby pictures and be like...wtf mom.
Appointments this week? Yes, we had one today. It was an US + OBGYN appointment. The baby is no longer sitting on my cervix (yay return of marital relations! yay no c-section), is in the right position, and Babe's measurements are good. All in all, it was a positive.
Symptoms? Acid reflux and I'm just super, super tired.
Rant/Rave/Questions? We got the crib and dresser in for the nursery today! The dresser is still in its box but the crib looks amazing! I can't wait to unpack all of the other things we've gotten in the last week (rug, pouf, bookcase) and see it start to come together.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite item of clothing you've received or bought for LO? I've only bought 1 onesie and a bib. I got them from my favorite little boutique in Honolulu. Here is the onsie:
I can't find the bib but it's from Tony & Mei and has sharks on it. I really want to order this onesie from them:
Once again, late to the party. Stinkin' germs getting in the way of my internet life!
How far along are you?
33 weeks
How big is baby?
Celery, durian fruit (whatever that is)
Appointments this week?
I was supposed to have my regular checkup yesterday, but had to reschedule since DS was sick. Going back on Monday to see the NP. Maybe she won't make me feel so rushed?
Symptoms?
Lots of wiggling/kicking/shifting. I'm pretty sure baby is head-down, but I honestly have no clue. I'm peeing all the time, and the insomnia is starting to shift to not being able to fall asleep. Oy!
Rant/Rave/Questions?
I posted a question about delayed cord clamping in the Birth Plan thread, and since it's long, I'll let y'all find it if you're interested. I don't want to xpost. Can I just say how much I love my chiropractor?? I swear there are so many days I do not feel like I'm in the thrid trimester. I don't ever remember feeling this good during my first pregnancy. Don't get me wrong, the days are still long and hard (that's what she said) but I feel like I have so much more endurance than before. Plus I think I'm in a better place mentally, which I'm sure is helping a ton, too.
GTKY: Do you have a favorite item of clothing you've received or bought for LO? Since we are team green, I haven't gotten much as far as clothing goes. I did get a onesie that says "strong like mom" which is think is cute and simple.
