@BigBadWolf12@RedBreast35 i have an ultrasound tomorrow too... here's hoping we all have great ultrasound results!
Me: 36 years old DH: 42 years old
Married: 05.2012 TW:
TTC #1 Since April 2016 HSG/FSH/AMH/E2/SA all normal DX: unexplained IF spontaneous BFP 01/01/2017- Alexander was born sleeping 04/13/2017 at 19w1d ic/chorio September 2017 HSG #2 & Gonal-F/Femara/Ovidrel/IUI #1 = ep (Salpingectomy of left fallopian tube) spontaneous BFP 01/02/2018 EDD Aug 30th It's a GIRL! Ladies, i was a HUGE BALL OF A MESS before my 1st u/s. Just breathe and try to calm down. I had never gotten to see anything on an U/S, so I was a wreck. Luckily I saw my pipsqueak, but you can only breathe and wait. Easier said than done, but it works. When you start freaking out close your eyes and take big breaths in through your nose out through your mouth. The nurse was impressed by me because my blood pressure was "perfect" when I had warned her how nervous I was. Breathing helps A LOT.
@redbreast35 FX for you too! I can't wait for it to be over, but then at the same time, I'm like THEN I START ANOTHER LONG STRETCH OF NOT SEEING INSIDE MY UTE...I can't wait for first tri to be done. Some of you are so close and I hate being near the end of the month I feel like I keep saying that...

@zetega I looked in my area too...nothing under 16w!! I lucked out and pleaded with my OB office lol Also...my first pregnancy was easy as pie aside if the last 5wks. I mean, I didn't have morning sickness and was ache free until then but then my hips/tailbone killed and I slept on the sofa for the end of my pregnancy. So far with this one...same thing...fairly smooth with a little wooziness but no morning sickness. This clearly means I'm screwed later! @BigBadWolf12@RedBreast35@harleyquinn612 my heartrate was higher before my ultrasound (128...normally 107!) ...sending ALL the good vibes for the three of you tomorrow!!! I agree with @lahearn1, just breathe...focus on something else (like what are you planning or not planning for Valentine's Day?). Tomorrow will be here and over soon enough...xo
Thanks @lahearn18! It's really comforting to know that so many people know EXACTLY how you're feeling and that you don't sound like a terrible person who's just expecting the worst out of what should be such an amazingly happy time.
@BigBadWolf12 how early is your appt tomorrow? And isn't it pretty much already time for bed for you today?
@lahearn18 omg i was the complete opposite. I normally have excellent blood pressure and right before my u/s it was like 146/88. I also might've cried when the nurse asked about my history when i was checking in. It was an emotional day.
@redbreast35 yes...it's 7:45pm here and the appointment is at 8:30 am (Central European Time), so I'm almost there...in 12 hours I will be a WRECK. I should have been marking all night, but I have been lying on the couch bumping instead

And @HollyGolightly09 - gosh, I have the worst pregnancy brain right now - I meant to write to you earlier. Get as much R&R as you can, love. I know it's hard to prevent your mind from going on overdrive, but do your best to stay calm and positive. We're all hoping and praying for you. Xx
Thanks everyone. I've been surprisingly calm today... just trying to rest and hydrate. I know I've been a little dehydrated, and apparently that can lead to some cramping, so I'm trying to do better. Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. ❤
@bigbadwolf12 and @redbreast35 good luck tomorrow. I hope things go well. I was so nervous during my first scan the tech kept asking if I was okay and then I burst into tears when she said the baby had a healthy heartbeat and pretty cried off and on the rest of the night.
Good news for me!! Measuring 8+3 when I expected 8+2. Saw the heart beating and little arm and leg nubs
Got a picture and I will cherish it because the only other us they do here is at the 20 week anatomy scan ..... so far away! But I hope I stay low risk and don't need extras, of course.

@icecubeinthedesert I'm thinking of you. Just went through this & had my 2nd procedure yesterday. We are strong and we will persevere. My current ob is finally taking my recurrent losses seriously but I am still changing doctors because I don't trust her incompetent office staff. I am hoping for a miracle for you but please feel free to message me if you need to talk.

Yay @BigBadWolf12!! So glad you got good news Good news for me too! Measured right on track at 8+0 with a strong HB! Thank you for all the good thoughts Hopefully @harleyquinn0621 had a good scan too!
@rainafire77 - I'm glad you're popping in because I wanted to tell you how sorry I am for your loss. I thought you may have been avoiding TB (and no one would blame you for that), so I was worried that tagging you in a comment might cause unintentional pain. I hope you love your new doctor and the staff there. And best of luck to you in your next pregnancy! You'll hold your rainbow baby someday.
sorry i am just now able to pop in... the baby is perfect! measuring 1 day ahead... FHR 163 bpm... you would think after a good 11 week scan I would relax, but I can't seem to make my head accept that this might go well... i'm posting a picture right now in the ultrasound thread

I have been feeling very un-pregnant these days, especially compared to when I was pregnant with DD. I was sick and exhausted with her till about 19 weeks but have felt remarkably good this go round. Just went to the doctors, FHR of 160, measuring 9w3d!
@rainafire77 and @icecubeinthedesert I'm so sorry for you ladies going through this again. rainafire77 is absolutely right...you are strong and you will come through this experience. I'm just so sorry you have to go through this again. It is a process and experience that changes us forever, and I'm sorry you have to go through it again

I'm 9+3 as well and felt the same as you do I got an ultrasound yesterday. I think it must just be a drop in symptoms time around 9w...
@rainafire77 You're not lurking. You're one of us and as far as I am concerned, more than welcome to check in or participate as much or as little as you wish❤
